What a song an epic of violent progressive melodic hard rock and roll bluesy dirty and funky! This song started it all for me. Thank you O band A Band Called O formerly The Parlour Band. Just listen to Pix's vocals so Coverdale alike and wonderful and he has his own thing too. I wish they came to America when I knew Pix he said that was what prevented the band from the big time- no American tours. They couldn't even get the fucking records out here! People would have loved them! Please come back. Everything I do is in honour of The O Band. I will dedicate all my albums when I record them to this great band. I wrote my own answer to this tonight. Look out this kind of music will come back I hope and believe.

Thanks to an insane Deja Vu experience back in 1990 January with this album where I'd, no kidding here, seen a very close resemblance in a crazy dream and finding a band actually called "The O Band" and an album called "The Knife" freaked me out I got into obscure rock. Thank you O Band! Pix and I were great buddies over the phone back in 2000/2001 and I blew the relationship and still haven't gotten over it. Pix was like a Rock God to me in The Parlour Band/O Band! Still is. This song is sick and there is no denying that, but it's so brilliant you get past the violent lyric. Listen to this band play I mean they shoulda been huge!!!!!!!! Pix filled me in on what happened to them and it was ugly, ugly, UGLY! The labels did nothing for them at all to the extent they had to be self-promoted pretty much. They were a big cult band- a live favorite of many people and then Punk killed them off once and for all. I don't think I'm alone in wishing The O Band would reform and get the success they never had. Music at its finest.
Would see them a lot at The Music Machine, Camden back in the late seventies. Underrated, but there was so much good music going around at that time. Tribal days...
To me A Band Called O/The O Band are one of the greatest bands ever formed and this is one of their most amazing songs. Let me tell you first that I was born when they were recording Within Reach, Losing Pix was the hardest friend to lose and it was all my fault and haunts me to this day, and that HILLARY DESERVES TO HAVE THIS DONE TO HER!
