Most campanula species are perennial, but Campanula medium (Canterbury bells) is very much a biennial. You'll need fresh plants. If you want to try perennial Campanula as cut flowers, I'd suggest perscifolia and glomerata
Thank you for your videos. You are awesome! Gorgeous bouquets and the sweetest baby chicks! You are a very busy lady. Don't forget to take care of yourself like you do your amazing flowers and sweet baby chicks. You are doing amazing!
I am in Maryland 7b. I have biennial campanula so I want to let it go to seed for the following years. Do you plant in full sun or am sun / pm shade in the garden or in pots?
The canterbury bells campanula is biennial but it sets seed easily & prolifically. After starting some 2 years in a row I just save a couple seed pods each year now & scatter the seeds back when I pull out the plants that flowered.
My wild campanula is a nuisance. It comes back, year after year. It is actually what brought me to your channel, if I can’t beat them, join them. My patch may well be over 100 years old, since they call it Queen Palmer revenge, around here, after the founders of this town.
I am in the UK and had one plant come back from last year but it’s not as tall as the fresh ones I sowed. Maybe you could keep half and do half as fresh sowings as a comparison. I will definitely do fresh seed after seeing the performance of last years plant. Great to see the flower farm and bouquet making again!
Oh my! My all time favorite flowers are larkspur & delphinium. Your field of larkspur is stunning! Delphinium is a tricky seed to start, but i was successful last year and the blooms this year are a gorgeous deep blue. I also planted tons of larkspur seeds as well as last years self sending and my larkspur are full of buds, soon to bloom. So exciting! Love your channel & your beautiful flower farm. Wishing you an amazing season & harvest.
Years ago, I grew Canterbury Bells that looked exactly like your campanula. Unfortunately, they were a biannual. My campanula look nothing like yours. Those pink peonies look so beautiful. I deadheaded many of mine today...and weeded. Nicole, you look thinner. I hope you're doing well instead of doing too much.
Have totally been missing the flower farm updates and bouquet making! This was refreshing to see. Is your Larkspur deep blue or purple? All I have are white, lavender and pink, maybe some dk purple. What I really want is the blue shades. I can't seem to grow the blue Delphinium, that's supposed to be a hardy perennial. And baby chicks!
Wow! they are lovely. I wonder what variety? I’ve only had the tiny campanula which are said to be invasive. I would like to try your one- it looks amazing!
Nicole, Stunning flowers. All your love and hard work paid off. Hope you have an amazing season! How do deal with the earwig problem? I'm on Long Island and find them in all of my flowers too. Made my folks a beautiful bouquet, but they really freaked out when the earwigs began crawling out. Omg! 😬
Nicole, I really hope you are getting enough rest.
She is really hard working. Those jaw bones looks beautiful on her but worried about her health too. Hope she take enough rest.
Those campanula--I planted oodles this fall so dying to see them look like that--first time around for me and SO excited!
Yay! It's seems like 4-ever since I've seen you make a Flower Hill bouq! Gorgeous, as always.
So nice!!🎉

I can’t wait to retire in two years and make a trip to see you.
My campanula has come back for two years now in zone seven. They seem to get bigger each year. The white is beautiful!
Good luck.😊

Gorgeous flowers that would be my favorite bouquet! The baby chicks are so adorable ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We only planted a few campanula, but they were well loved, especially by my daughter Belle(Isabelle)😅. We will be planting many more next year. ❤

I grew lilac, white, and dark purple this year. The white is so pretty and lasts the longest in a vase.

Th campanula has amazing vase life. But my stems were not near as strong as yours.

Beautiful flower bouquets: Girl, how much weight have you lost, and how??? Wow!!! I need your formula!
Beautiful flowers as usual! What varieties of Campanula is it you´re growing?
I love the colouring of the larkspur! Could you tell me what it is please? We might be able to get seed of it over here (GB)
You must be so busy. I would love an update on your greenhouse plants. How are the sales going?
So you did campanula plugs in the fall?
Campanula looks too pretty to be real!
How about Dahlias this season?
❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
May I ask were you purchased your baptisia plugs from? I would like to get some going.
Walter's Gardens. They were bareroot, not plugs.
Ohhh! Your flowers are gorgeous
Did you grow campanula from seed? They are pretty!
Ohhhh beautiful. I HATE earwigs so much.
