- Welcome to Tribe Hotel 2.0 in Nairobi, Kenya. This hotel has been part of the city for a very long time but recently got fully renovated and reimagined for the best. This is the NEW Tribe Hotel.
Tribe is a luxury hotel located in Gigiri right beside the famous Village Market mall. The hotel offers nine different room types, a pool, a bar, a gym and so many indoor and outdoor spaces to relax or work depending on why you stay there for.
It is worth mentioning that Tribe has the number one restaurant in Nairobi, according to TripAdvisor which is Jiko. We had a little date night there during our stay and I have to say, the food simply delicious.
For our Nairobi staycation we stayed in one of Tribe's Loft Business Suite, a two story hotel room with a king bed, living room and full kitchen and let's not forget the floor to sealing window. This room is ideal for couples.

Tracey is right with her observation on formalities when dealing with Kenyans. Age and status appropriate greetings and how one addresses a stranger or friend is subtly observed. Even when having a tiff with someone, you still address them appropriately.

That formality thing ("Sir", "Madam") bugs the heck out of me too. Blame the British for instilling it, but they've been gone 50 years and don't even do it as much in their own country anymore. And it's not just the service industry, people refuse to relax even in work spaces that call for informality.

If want to be in an ac room at 17c all the time why you traveling to Africa , you shoukd be in the sun & sand or up a mountain , stay home if you wanna have all the comforts your missing a whole lot of fun
If you watch our channel than you should know that we spend 80% of our time in the wild.
I lived in neighboring Tanzania, for almost a decade,, believe me I never got enough of the wildlife there, promoting properties is fine , but I rather be in the outdoors anytime eating, exploring , moving with locals is the adventure trying new languages....
