Fair play to you my friend , for showing the other side of training and handling birds of prey , especially goshawks , sometimes it can be a nightmare, time and patience , and knowIng your craft , great video
Belting video mate. People think raptors are just these fearless feathered power houses without any other emotion but to hunt and kill. I kept injured birds of prey when I was 16,I'm 56 now. You had to register every bird individually and have them ringed. I'm sorry to say I'm still saddened by how easy it is to go out and buy these wonderful bird's. Too many fall into the wrong hands. I think you are going to have a real one in your hands with the Gos. Look forward to the next video.👍
I totally agree I’ve took some birds off people in the past and moved them on to better homes. I once saved a redtail from a 3 x 3 shed with a wire window. untethered. Disappointing to see to say the least. And Goku yes really looking forward to see him progress 👍🏼
Good videos pal.. ive just got my first pure finnish goshawk and im currently in the manning process.. he arrived at 1lb 14.5 oz and after 4 days he still wont take any food off the glove. Hes now 1lb 8oz.. this morning and last night he fell asleep on my glove but still wouldnt take any food.. i was just wondering how low in weight did your male go before he took food off the glove?? Surley he cant go another day with no scran haha.. message back bro will be a massive help
Yea 1.9 1.7 Keep playing with his feet. He should get there soon. Try exposing the inside of the chick. Or increase put two chicks on your glove. Let me know how you get on tonight or the morning 👍🏼

How you getting on with the pure finnish Goshawk. I'm torn between a pure Finnish Goshawk and a Harris Hawk.
