My ancestors lived in Waltness, Shapinsay. That was in the 1500's-1600's, they then moved to the Glasgow area before coming to the USA. I also have family ties to the Finley clan, but that's another conversation.

Greetings from India... Nice coverage by the anchor and research team. This reminds us of Travel Show 'Holiday' and the Anchor, Late Respected Jill Dando.

If you have not read Comyns Beaumont " Britain key to world history" I really recommend that you do, might change how you have been taught history.

It's fascinating to think that the last humans to touch these stones were people...

Pretty sure the site at 9:24 is Fort George and not Burghead?

Decided to check it out after playing Hellblade: Senua's sacrifice. Looks similar but not as Mountainous as I thought it would be.

Bard's tale, a fantastic gem, showed me the Orkney and its folklore. Now on Android and IOS, I highly recommend to try this old game.

Please if you are going to do a show on locations learn how to pronounce places properly and at least devote a bit of time to finding out how to!!
    Bennachie isnt BENNAKIE
    its pronounced BENNA-HEE
    and Earls Marischal
    Isnt MARISKHAL
    Its pronounced Mar-shall
Little bit of respect for where you visit .....
