  • Some people believe a U.S. Visitor Visa is an “all - purpose” visa, allowing them to engage in all kinds of activity in the U.S., such as work, school, etc. In this video, Attorney Michael J. Gurfinkel goes through the types of permissible and prohibited activities on a visitor visa, as violating a visitor’s visa could result in being charged with fraud, having the visitor’s visa canceled, and being sent back on the next flight out.

    Hi Michael,
My sister renewed her US B2 Visa past October and an immigration services in her country mistakenly filled out only 10 days in the question of Intended stay in the US. are there chances that the US custom official would allow her to stay few months instead? She had visited my mom last year for 3 months, just fyi.
    Love your channel, very helpful.
    Thank you Michael,
    Sean

What if you enter the US with a tourist VISA then later on, you seek sponsorship with a certain company that can provide you working permit?

My filipina wife came to the U.S. on a tourist visa which expired June 2 2020. But it seems because of covid-19 the U.S. extended her visa for 6 more months until December 2, 2020. We were divorced in July of 2020. Do you know if those visitor visas are still being extended now into 2021? She moved in with two different guys since our breakup. Now she has a baby to the second guy after the first threw her out. Is she and her baby legally allowed to stay here and carry on with her life here on that visitor visa? I guess her kid is an american citizen now!🥴

All across USA visitors especially old people are stuck here for months together and cannot go back to their own country. Their children are crying because the law says visitors cannot stay more than a year. We are not getting proper answer if we can renew parents visitor visa beyond a year given the COVID situation. Can anyone answer here if B2 visitor visa can be renewed for a 2nd extension???
