all it is is time. you and your friend's got this. slow down and with your friends it will work out don't hurry. always make a day of it. never cram it in.
for traveling. frig is needed. cold is good. you have seen those coolers that do hot to. funny story. years ago people would make a metal box by there motor and cook stuff while driving where ever. old guy stuff.
Led lights on headlights are good...in projector lens setup, in classic setups... they will blind everyone since the light isn't focused. You could get pulled over for blinding a cop one day... just a heads up. The project car is looking good. 👌
Do you lowkey regret getting rid of the white one? 🤣🤣 Sure you'd have two of them but tat white one seemed a 100! Either way, you will get this one figured out plus it will give you something to do and learn more along the way.
Awesome day of Work!! Shout out to David, he really hooked you up proper. The dashboard looks really cool, and good that you guys have the same gauges in and the LEDs fixed. The Suzuki Kei car sounds awesome, and turbo sound or not, you can see that it can haul. Really cool to see it's now set up. I really am sorry I am not nearby you guys, I definitely would take that Suzuki Kei car.
@@Arasmus125if it’s the turbo bearing, there should be play at the turbo shaft. Literally reach in and see if there’s play at the turbo shaft/blades; do this with the engine off😂. If there’s no play, your turbo is more or less ok. Have you revved it without any intake to turbo? Could be the coiling in the intake tube causing air to whistle. Rev it with the turbo “naked” and see what happens. Just a thought.
big pipes might make it lose power. a lot of small cars have tuned pipes. the length as well as the size of the pipe. read up on back pressure. a good tuner will take all this into account.
I have little experience, but maybe something like an extender for the steering wheel? add like an inch or two to the distance of the wheel from the steering column. Was thinking maybe it would help with the issue of the wheel being so close to the dashboard.
I supercharged.....and UNsupercharged.....two Miatas. Seems I was more in love with the IDEA of boost than actually living with it. Engine swaps are often a poor choice for bulletproof rel;iability. Bad fuel economy, blowing hoses, blown motors, and LOTS of money chasing that supercharged high.
I haven’t owned a supercharger car yet but I’ve heard it’s less maintenance but you don’t get that’s sweet turbo and bov. Which I think it’s better than the whine
Sorry, I still think the white dash was more in tune with the style of the van and I can't comfortably watch someone attacking a perfectly good dash with power tools. I'll come back when it's all over. I hope it goes well.
it's stick to auto. your able to wind out a little bit more. when your's is all done and the hamic is in. your on the beach music going .come on. all in good time si. all in good time.
You need to find out which blow off valve is suitable for your engine as if it's the right 1 they don't do any harm but certainly can if it's not suitable. I haven't a blow off valve but if I had I guess my 14 reg DS3 which has a BMW N14 engine , same engine as a 2014 Cooper S would be far bigger. But guess you have done your homework..
Why don't you just take the brown Mira to the workshop & ask them to do adsatly the same to yours. No disrespect Nick but you seem to drive manuals in 2nd & 3rd yout cars must guzzle fuel every manual is 5 or 6 gears certainly 5 built in the last 30 years. & 6 last 15 years or so.
The dashboard cutting part was the funniest thing i've ever seen on the channel 😂
Lol little by little
when life gives you lemons, you make a blueberry lemonade truck
Thats the spirit
Keep at it. This will be a very cool car!
Can’t wait to fix it

Those pins are everything, thank you my dude! And Mendy the GOAT gettin it together!
Team work makes the dream work

Nah Turboooooooo > And the white one also didnt have the window I want
That new dashboard looks good in the Walkthrough. Enjoying series on the Mira Walkthrough so far.
Glad to hear it!
Mendy the goat

I think I might grab that Suzuki kei !
Yo you and David crack me up man!
LOL
The Mira is looking good
That Kei is everything 🙌🏾 😍
Drive it all the way over here to San Diego !!
Its happening once I fix the car
Some Blue Lemon magnets would be cool! I'd even put one in the dash in my Walk-Through ‼️🙂
I gotta make some blueberry lemonade stickers lol
Check your harmonic balancer. If it's bad, it will squeal like a loose belt.
Will do!
At best, I can guess. If it's whistling at boost. Possibly a gasket has failed. Just the concept of whistle, air rapidly escaping.
Nvm, it looks like gaskets got mentioned.
Ah, second guess, a roller barring could be failing.
what's the roller barring?

Yo those gaps on each side look like a great spot to put either some tweeters or maybe some guages.
Gauges 100% coming soon ! Boost and idk about the second one maybe voltage
Bruhhh I'm gonna send you guys a pack of cutoff wheels...lol
He was struggling lol
Do I need some hahahaha
homie if you cut those vents your going to lose your defrost. ohh well i guess you can make new holes for the defrost
Yeah lets see what happens with winter lol
good video thanks
You're welcome!

Big pipes?
@@Waybeforethefame you need a certain amount of back pressure for" tuned exhaust" you could go big after the length you need.
i fucking love how you guys fixed the intake xD whatever it takes to get those japanese 30+ yrs old car to run :P
Whatever Works!!
Man, I thought big dude was gonna flip in that thing.....😮
LOL nahhh

It’s not that close anymore I’ll show it some more in the next video
A quick release would fix that issue.
if you ever stop by Toronto once this car is done let me know I’ll see if I can make it
Toronto is on the list for sure!
@@Waybeforethefame nice I’ll see if I can stop by when that happens
had this issue on a pajero mini the turbo is on its way out thats the noise your hearing
Ahhh dam okay, maybe that’s what it is

The dash is for a different car I had no choice
Try doing a smoke test to make sure nothing is leaking.
I need to do this asap
I would lose it if I have to drive with that sound all the time
That’s how I feel
bro you have a bird in your engine
Literally
What kind of bird? 🐓
@@robertobuenrostro2781 A loud bird
Sounds like you need a better exhaust
Where the heck do you get your money? I want that kind of job.

Did you get any money back on the poor work they did in Japan?
not yet
you cut away the window defogger vents on the dash!
SMALL PRICE TO PAY
oh, by the way im from montreal and own a kei truck
Ill be going to Montreal soon
How about having your Turbo serviced or rebuilt.
I think that’s step like 7 I really don’t think it’s my turbo, I think it’s a gasket or manifold it’s self
