Great, I guess I was just being anal since a lot of people seem to lump the two together and treat them like they function the same. I get pretty much zero except for mild compression and warming from my blown out Sling Shot sleeves. Eventually I will get another pair that fits better (I bought a size too small and it ended up being a bit smaller than desired for training) that offers better compression. I will save my replacement Sling Shots for competition.
WTF? 400kg deadlift without any straps that's fuckin impossible. His grip is so strong that he possibly could crush a man's hand if he squeezes it. DAMN!
tatskamies but it was big news and everyone knew about his bench record, and andrey malanachevs huge squat and total, and kk, and so on. but not even a little coverage on this, its just odd considering i knew about him breaking spotos bench record within an hour of it happening
tatskamies just odd to me lol, the guy is a fucking monster tho, benching over 700 and totaling an all time wr in the same meet is just mind boggling. plus deadlifting almost 900 in a full meet with a build like his is just freaky, almost freakier than the bench imo
While he squats a large amount of weight, relative to his bench and deadlift, he should be doing more. This isn't a criticism, more of a testament to a superb deadlift, and a mind boggling, insane, unfathomable, bench press.
And IPF is walk out on the squat. And only three attempts. And not your trainer as a judge... and you cant drop the deadlift like that either. The list is quite long why it shouldnt really be compared if we wanna be strict. I have to say, so there is no misunderstanding, I like this russian federation way more and Kirill is absolutely amazing!
@@elvisitor He holded the bar for like 4 seconds, makes no difference if he drops it or not. Also Boris Sheiko as a judge, not just some random guy. Walk out on the squat is a lot harder tho.
Android Boss exactly! Kirill on his Instagram said same thing when recently Pale Horse instagram.com/pale_horse_powerlifting?igshid=1de9tt400186x did 400kg but referees did not count it. This guy screamed on every post on his own Instagram that Kirill who invited him In Moscow said about his own squats and showed this video by saying "this is how you should squat, deep and low, and not crying like a baby when judges refuse your squat"
Scott Serson ....somewhat different circumstances. That is 2017 Worlds Strongest Man winner EDDIE HALL who dead lifted 1,102.3 pounds, but it was done with straps and no squats or bench pressing BEFORE deadlifting. He did it July 9th 2016 at Europe's Strongest Man contest. Still no one has equaled or come close to matching the 1,102 with or without straps in any type of competition using regulation legitimate bar and weights.
Feraldo Rozanandy true. The most he deadlifted in comp is 948. He did 1020 with no belt and his deadlift suit pulled all the way off at the Europe’s strongest man 2015
Such a perfect form! that should be text book fim! loved every minute of it. his total though is 1072.5. you are allowed only 3x3 attempts in PL competitions. every 4th attempt counts for National/international/World record but NOT toward the TOTAL He is soo strong and his form so flawless text book such Joy to watch! I watched it 6 times before I wrote my little misgiving
Impressive. In the squat he had 10-20 Kg more in the tank and the 330 benchpress he just missed, because the assistance moved the bar to far, so that it moved a little to the left, so that he had to fix it, before starting the attempt.
MrStrengthfreak I would be say no because I am a powerlifter and I know Kirill personally (I am at 145kg bench 73kg BW preparing for WRPF, need 160kg bench press for "Master of Sport" of Russia).he clearly failed and its obvious. He did heavy squats before and it made his legs, lumbar and back a bit tired. Leg drive and usage of back is VERY important. So that's why. 335kg BP record was done only with bench press and nothing more. Sometimes you can degrade your own 1 max rep, its fairly common but not the case with Kirill
His squat and deadlift numbers are not as impressive.... Its his bench that kills everyone else... similarly Ray Williams is not as great as the other two compared to his squat! KK was more or less the same on his deadlift! The moral of the story if you want to dominate in powerlifting, be good in all 3 but be especially freaky in one of the big 3....
Mostly every great power-lifter is a specialist of some kind, there are very few that are dominant at all 3 lifts, those that come to mind: Sergey Fedisenko, April Mathis, Dennis Cornelius, ect..
roger012194 let's hope so... if what I read is true he started on the dark side after two years of training... then again from what I hear the Russians are the best when it comes to the science of this stuff so only time will tell...
How much does this guy weight? Petr Petráš (Czech powerlifter) did 1115 kg raw, coming 3rd ever (after Malanichev, tie with Lilliebridge). But he is in another weight category, isn't he?
Damn Thor with 6 weeks preparation did 1,100 (and if he was not red lighted with the 460/ wrong decision by judges because it was the exact same depth as the 440 - please check the superimposing by Strength Universe TH-cam channel) it would have been 1,120 and if his grip held on with the 430, it would have been 1,140. I'm pretty sure had Thor trained for an year he could have totalled a 1,200 Powerlifting total.
Kirill Igorevich Sarychev: Cree en el Señor Jesucristo y sé salvo tú y tu casa. Hechos 16:31.Верьте в Господа Иисуса Христа и спаситесь, вы и ваш дом. Деяния 16:31.
I feel like he could've done at least 40 50lbs more on the squat. the last attempt which was 793lbs was like morning papers, I mean did you see how fast that weight flew up ???
opening with 300kg on the bench is just taking the piss
You are absolutely right. He originally planned to open with 300-300-300!
Making it to 300 lbs is a good goal for mere mortals # let alone 300 kg
That feel when your bench opener is almost as heavy as your squat opener.
it doesn't work that way
he's one strong bastard nick, love your channel btw!
sleeves ≠ add 200kg to total
Zharoon Zharoon no,sleeves add very little 0 to 10 kg from really tight sleeves. Wraps can add much more 30 kg or a bit more is sometimes claimed
Basically pause squatting, long pause on the bench while hitting 700+, and deadlifting 400kg....
Upmost respect
Ryan Turner yeah he's not that kind of all for putting some kg more on the bar ... he fucking keeps the perfect technique ! amazing
Utmost*
I mean... he is 11 ft tall with arms the size of the guys standing around him...
imagine if this guy had a decent bench
Bryan Potter Yeah very unimpressed with the bench
maybe Rich Piano could give him advice

First comment my eyes focused on and it made my day. Dude's a phenom!
Just commenting to show respect. This man is amazing!
All I want for X mas is a video of him benching at Planet Fitness
Da' Beetus Cat at planet fitness the Smith can hold 7 plates... So 655 would be the most he could do. So his opener is more than it holds.
Weston Little well then he should just lift the damn Smith.
@@alfredschlicht2662 LOL
Enzo Gorlami lol
Beautiful executed lifts! Proper squat depth, thats how it should be...
The strength of this man is insane!!
wait, is kirill actually a secret genetic project from soviet union times?
swag lord 😂😂
Yes, him and Larry Wheels are the products of the cold war but both sides deny this.
Russian has Larry wheels easy but...
Winter soldier
Captain Russia
Kirill is such a technician. Beautiful executed lifts. Also, he is untouchable in a push pull competition. No one would even come close.
All his Squats looked easy and smooth. Awesome
Miguel Moniz He goes deeper than most too!
lol

WTF? 400kg deadlift without any straps that's fuckin impossible. His grip is so strong that he possibly could crush a man's hand if he squeezes it. DAMN!
I think he can do over 2500 if he gets his squat up.
That bench ain't even near his real max.
O
He could squat a lot more in these very heavy knee wraps they now use and no go so low but he uses knee sleeves and goes very low.
Than it wouldnt be really a raw record it would be named raw with knee wraps.
He can bench over 600 lbs. and is the best deadlifter but I dont think his squat is that good.
Double respect for our Russian beast!)
4:25. WHAT THE FUCK is that guy on the right going to do?
rumplespliffskin 😂😂
Your question is answered at 6:24
why is everyone flipping out about ray williams but i havent heard a peep about this
People haven't heard because he is a russian competing in russia.
tatskamies but it was big news and everyone knew about his bench record, and andrey malanachevs huge squat and total, and kk, and so on. but not even a little coverage on this, its just odd considering i knew about him breaking spotos bench record within an hour of it happening
tim patterson I dunno. I myself always get to know about these things from youtube. Sometimes late sometimes early :P
tatskamies just odd to me lol, the guy is a fucking monster tho, benching over 700 and totaling an all time wr in the same meet is just mind boggling. plus deadlifting almost 900 in a full meet with a build like his is just freaky, almost freakier than the bench imo
Cuz, Black Lifts Matter.
This guys bench is unreal.
this is simply unbeliveable i have been in this game for almost 15 years but never witnessed a "HUMAN" like this before
Thanks for all the views everyone, happy new year to everyone!
A small correction, all time record belongs to Andrey Malanitchev 1140kg (2513 lbs), Kirill holds the record in the bench press 335kg (738,5lbs)
Никита Волков this is the world record without knee wraps
Jim bob if this guy could get his squat up to around 900 and deadlift over it , it would be insane
And of course isnt RAW. But absolutely amazing Performance
Do you know that 4. squat attempt doesnt count for total because it is record breaking lift
While he squats a large amount of weight, relative to his bench and deadlift, he should be doing more. This isn't a criticism, more of a testament to a superb deadlift, and a mind boggling, insane, unfathomable, bench press.
I think that his plan was to go higher on squat. He just stopped competing
Just look at these squat's depth!!! It's awsome....Просто посмотрите на эту глубину приседа... Часто видите на соревах такую амплитуду?! :)
Да но чёт маловато для него то он 320 пожал а присел всего на 40 кг больше
Real Russian Bear
Fuckin mountain of a man. Unbelievable!
A legend in the making right here, will probably be one of the best powerlifters of all time, so much potential
Just wow! So he beat Ray's record by 8 lbs and he has so much more in the tank! What a time to be alive!
I'd agree he has more in the tank but ray got 2471, almost 100 lbs more
@@elvisitor He holded the bar for like 4 seconds, makes no difference if he drops it or not. Also Boris Sheiko as a judge, not just some random guy. Walk out on the squat is a lot harder tho.
He also has much better conditioning than Ray. Sarychev could compete in WSM
Rays best total was 1112.5 kg, so ray totaled more
ive seen this 1000 times and still i cant belive it
Tall as a mountain, strong as a bull. Respect from Moscow
Savage bench. Needs to get his squat up
Yeah only 700 bench 800 squat 900 deadlifft.... this guy needs to train more.... smfh
Kurt Lane no but imagine if he trained in wraps or brought his squat to 1000lbs that would be a fucking huge total
Da' Beetus Cat Then his bench would go down, and his squat will never be quite as insane as his bench, so why would he bother?
Kirill is a giant among men!
Sure, yeah, but how fast can he type?
Those are real squats unlike the rest of the powerlifters who only go parallel. They should take notes from this guy. And that bench...
Android Boss exactly! Kirill on his Instagram said same thing when recently Pale Horse instagram.com/pale_horse_powerlifting?igshid=1de9tt400186x did 400kg but referees did not count it. thats insane. 900 dead, 800 squat, 700 bench .....
the combination of those lifts is impressive..... i never said he is a deadlift record holder..

The color coordination with the shoes and his gear is magnificent
Gotta give him extra credit. That's some of the deepest (excluding Olympics) squatting I've seen. Good job , big man
Impressive. In the squat he had 10-20 Kg more in the tank and the 330 benchpress he just missed, because the assistance moved the bar to far, so that it moved a little to the left, so that he had to fix it, before starting the attempt.
Yeah hes hit 733 before i believe
738
It's likely that he wanted to save energy by not going heavier in the squat so he could hit that 402.5 kg deadlift.

Unbelievably perfect form in the squat.
grip strength level over 9999
why are they letting twigs like the kid at 4:29 spot

beautiful execution
What's so impressive about Kirill is how in control he is of big weights with flawless technique

Is Malanichevs total of 1140 KG not considered raw because he used kneww wraps? or why is Kirills 1082.5 world record?
Yes. There is Raw w/ Kneewraps and Raw w/o kneewraps
That music is fucking amazing
so he is the same class as ray williams? without wraps? did he broke his wr?

so ray is a fucking beast? :-D
