    Absolutely Amazing my husband has cleaned our roof with a scrub broom I don't think I have ever seen anyone do that here in the States.

    I've been binge watching your videos. I love how clean you get them and enjoy watching. Music not so much.

      Thank you for watching and for the feedback. I’m very restricted on what music I can use due to copyright laws on TH-cam

    I really enjoyed watching your video, what a fantastic finish to a very dreary looking roof ,it looks like a new roof has been put on, great job 👏

      It all depends on amount of moss, access etc however this one was around £1k mark. Happy to quote you for yours if you are local to norwich?

    Gooday, the intensive pressure is it not bad for the roof ?the porosity of the tiles?

    • @gutterguru5981
      @gutterguru5981  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We are using steam so the pressure is low and the heat is removing the moss and lichen. No tiles were harmed in the making of the video 😂

    I'm just curious, what kind of roof is that? I don't see that type in the US. Nice job!

      Light scrape with a profiled tile scraper or brush on water fed pole. Then apply biocide 👍🏽

    What equipment are you using here?

    • @gutterguru5981
      @gutterguru5981  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hot box, pressure washer and WFP conversion kit with pedal and FSC

  • @loadapish
    @loadapish ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Im thinkin of getting started doing this as a business. Which types of tile shouldnt be treated with biocide? Isnt there a type of tile that will lose its colour or protective coating if you use biocide?

    • @gutterguru5981
      @gutterguru5981  ปีที่แล้ว

      No. Biocide only kills organic matter. If the tiles are damaged or old and the coating is coming off in places, then the biocide will just highlight this due to killing the moss/algae and lichen and cleaning the tiles

    is this just in the states and what kind of a roof is it? don't think we have roofs like that in Canada.

    My question is how a 50 year roof doesn't need to be replaced. It seems like dirt would be the least of it's problems by then.

    • @gutterguru5981
      @gutterguru5981  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cement tiles are very durable and still in great condition as you can see from the video

    Why would you pressure wash a roof bro
    I’ve never cringed harder

    • @gutterguru5981
      @gutterguru5981  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s low pressure steam. Doesn’t damage the tiles and gets rid of the moss, algae and lichen.
