New owners of this beautiful property get an all over exterior clean.
A couple that recently bought their dream home wanted to the exterior to look better. There was a lot of moss, algae and lichen over the walls, sills and roof, so they called us up and asked if we could help. Brick weave drive gets the turbo treatment!!

This was part 2 of the patio job from one of my previous videos. The customers also wanted the driveway done so we happily obliged. The turbo nozzle is great for these jobs and rips through the dirt and grime. We finished off with a biocide treatment to delay the onset of moss and algae, and then re sanded the brick weave #drivewaycleaning #pressurewashing
I HAD to remove all this first before I could steam clean the roof!

New owners wanted a clean roof so we offered them the low pressure steam clean option. However after previous experience with moss and water, we removed a huge pile of it before we cleaned the roof. Unfortunately my GoPro ran out and I never got the back of the house or the biocide application. #mossremoval #steamcleaning #biocide

This moss covered roof was a nightmare. Not the usual balls of moss that just fall down when you scrape...No this carpet of moss was stuck to the tiles, making it extra difficult to remove. #mossremoval #softwashing #biocide

The brick paving after shot looked fabulous! Have you considered getting a flat surface cleaner to eliminate streaks/stripes on the concrete? I think it would also be easier on you and maybe take less time. 👍🏼

Its just bizarre that the surface cleaner sat in the grass while you labored over all that surface area with just a wand…the equivalent of sweeping with a toothbrush instead of a huge push broom. I hope you weren’t charging by the hour!
Why would you pressure wash a roof bro I’ve never cringed harder
It’s low pressure steam. Doesn’t damage the tiles and gets rid of the moss, algae and lichen.

My question is how a 50 year roof doesn't need to be replaced. It seems like dirt would be the least of it's problems by then.
The cement tiles are very durable and still in great condition as you can see from the video

The owner should request a professional landscaper to clear up the lawns and shrubs first. Perhaps you can also do the job for the owner.
They had them coming in but unfortunately due to time restraints I had to do my bit first

my husband wo t clean our roof. he says the rough little sabd thingys on roof will come off. how best for us do ours in MN
Light scrape with a profiled tile scraper or brush on water fed pole. Then apply biocide 👍🏽

Im thinkin of getting started doing this as a business. Which types of tile shouldnt be treated with biocide? Isnt there a type of tile that will lose its colour or protective coating if you use biocide?
No. Biocide only kills organic matter. If the tiles are damaged or old and the coating is coming off in places, then the biocide will just highlight this due to killing the moss/algae and lichen and cleaning the tiles

It all depends on amount of moss, access etc however this one was around £1k mark. Happy to quote you for yours if you are local to norwich?

Gooday, the intensive pressure is it not bad for the roof ?the porosity of the tiles?
We are using steam so the pressure is low and the heat is removing the moss and lichen. No tiles were harmed in the making of the video 😂
