Hey my friend! Ive been MIA lately being a bookworm myself. Ive been hooked on the Sarah J. Maas book series starting with A Court of Thorns and Roses. Highly recommend! Are you ready for Thanksgiving next week? I bought a 27lb turkey....for 3 people 😂😂 Ill be up at 4am massaging that turkey with sticks of butter, girl! By the way, LOVE the look of that fountain pen! Absolutely stunning!
Hi Lindsey, I'm happy to see you in the comments....that series is actually on my TBR, I'm hoping to get to it soon.....I just haven't decided weather I want to purchase it digital or get the actual copies. Gurrrllll about Thanksgiving, I was ready to cry getting my total at the register today 😭😆 I plan to start early, I will be preparing my Gumbo on tomorrow, I will do my pies (Apple & Sweet Potato) on Tuesday and I'll have to prepare everything else on Thursday morning when I make it in from work. Thank you about the pen, I'm excited for my Dad to see it 💕
@@tnjp5 I am so biased to actual physical copies of the books. I feel like I have to earn the page turn. Hah! It's weird, I know. But then you got to worry about a book light, wrist strain, etc. Prime had a deal the other day on that series where they were all on sale. Worth a look, whether paper copies or digitally! I can only imagine about the price this year. I still have to go shopping, the only thing I did buy was the turkey. Ugh, I'm not ready for my total either. 😫 The gumbo and the pies sound amazing!! How many people are you cooking for? Wait, you have to work on Thanksgiving day? That's shitty! Hopefully if you're working Thursday, you won't have to work Christmas eve or Christmas day. Can't wait to see an update when your dad gets his goodies! Lots of love 💕
@@OnlyJewell I have a fond love of digital as well, because you're exactly right about the book light. My preference for digital lies with the fact that so many books are portable and always at my convenience. I also enjoy the fact that I can read in the dark with no problem. I do still hold a major love for actual books as well, I even have 4 book shelves full of books, I guess being an artist I will always hold a love of actual paper. As far as my Thanksgiving work schedule, since I am an overnight worker I go into work the night before and get off at 4:30 am Thanksgiving morning, I'm only cooking for my daughter and me, maybe my nephew if he decides to spend the day with us, most of my family is back home in Louisiana......I'm actually preparing my Gumbo now, it's coming out great......sending Love right back to you Lindsey 💞💕
