I love this interview so much! And after watching it i do understand why they wanted to change the masks not just for a new era stand point- the cloth moves around alot- and for quality i guess haha but i love the simplicity of the old masks. IIs new mask is definitely my favourite new mask!!!
Yeah the slight pauses are definitely there to make each piece more interesting. Adds even more to it giving it even more of a life of its own. He also likes to emphasize some of the lyrics with a beat or a slight beat right after one specific word or inflection. He’s developing so so well. It pretty amazing to hear him talk about it.
They didn't slow him down lol, it's a voice modulator. He was just speaking slowly to prevent stuttering or using filler words like "um" as much as possible.

Gods is from 2019, glad is being given proper attention. One of my favourite up there with Vore and Thread the Needle.
