In BO3, the campaign tells us Singapore was the victim of a mass nerve agent attack. The same nerve agent from BO2. The agent exploded from an underground base, destroying much of Singapore, the rest of Singapore died to the nerve agent.
The reason Firebreak has that flashback is proably because his sister died from the wound or something like that and he wishes his father had died for it
His sister lives and he gets a choice during ww2 jail or war he goes to war as a flamethrower mercenary. After he goes after to find his sister who was separated after they made it to an adoption center, his did die and his sister only got severe burns on her face. He finds her in a clothing shop were she uses highly flammable cloth for other children with horrible parents. She escapes by blowing the place up in flames
In 2025 the world had civil unrest after Raul Menendez died. This lead to Singapores virus in 2038. In the 2040’s firebreak was sent in to help destroy the infection. We play in Singapore in BO3 which is in the 2060s

If you read Firebreak's Specialist Comic released by BO4, it goes into what actually happened. Well, some people with trauma will sometimes think back on certain situations & think of alternative ways that they could have handled the situation better. Firebreak could have been thinking about it in his backstory or if anything he could have chosen a different story to tell in his audiofiles from what really happened
I think he was scared that his sister was burnt as well so he trues to picture it differently in his mind to soothe himself and how he wished it went. Which adds a factor of does her really have mo conscience?
Midnight Gaming No, it’s because they retconned his story. Pisses me off a bit as I’m sure it will anyone that reads it, but that’s what happened. Completely changes it.
Firebreak lost his sister to the virus. And it's possible those he was burning we're his sister and someone else. Thats why he saw the doll and took it with him. Could also be why the camera focused on his eyes as he was burning them. To show the emptiness he has inside of him as he described himself. His previous cut scene is different because he jus wishes he could've done through with his father and holds possible regret or guilt. Or he could be remembering a time when he felt those emotions. Those emotions he no longer has.
@@graedev but do you see the flaw in your theory? i don't see why him losing his sister due to fire doesn't make sense...also your theory is based on the 2 people on the sofa being his dad and sister which they aren't those are just random people one of which had a similar doll that his sister had...
@@graedev you do realize you make no sense now? you're going off the topic the people he burned aren't his dad and sister as the original claim of the person who made the comment...so his theory is flawed
6:11 I haven't seen the whole video but maybe he was getting rid of bodies who died of a plague and you can see that maybe the plague destroyed that town in the last two seconds, maybe he was purifying the dead bodies that were decomposing
I have a theory that the building that he finds the doll in was a hospital (the hospital his sister was in when she got burned) and the doll is actually his sisters
Firebreak could have trauma from what happened in real life and blames his father for what had happened to his sister. He wishes he could go back and it could go the way he intended where him and his sister get away and his dad dies. Why they tell us this is to show more depth to a cold person with no remorse that isn’t shown in bo3.
make a video about why the rest of the specialists (Crash and Torque) aren't in the last cutscene, maybe they where killed and that's why they didn't make it into black ops 3. idk
anassman B Crash for a fact seemed to be very loyal to Savannah. She healed/fixed him and he had no reason for him to betray her. Torque may also still be loyal because she got him out of prison and again he would have no reason to betray her.
In reapers backstory of black ops 3 he is the last survivor of these war robots and is being controlled by a gambling ring for bets, prophet then free's him from the device that controls him and let's him control himself. He then goes back to the gambling ring and kills everyone. As we know crash is a gambler so maybe he was in the gambling place at the time reaper killed everyone and he was killed.
In black ops three he was brainwashed as a soldier to have that anger and hate for his father to make him a stronger soldier in the black ops 4 cutscene you could see he has a soft spot for little girls because he had a sister. When in black ops 3 they brainwashed him so that even if he burned his sister he would still love fire. If he actually did burn his sister by accident he wouldn’t like fire at all. Once he was trying to keep the infection from failing he most likely allowed a little girl to live which caused the infection to get stronger and take out Singapore.
F.B. I it’s wrong because im black ops 3 Singapore gets destroyed by a nova 6 leak that came from the Coalescence building. You can’t spread nova 6 cause it’s a chemical weapon that kills you instantly.
When I played BO4 on the map frequency you can actually see firebreak's bio or something and he is said to be A.W.O.L. so this might explain the final seconds of the cutscene or bio of Firebreak
I think Firebreak had the flashback because the doll reminds him of his sister and he thought of what happened and since his dad killed his sister he imagined his dad burning alive. Love the vids keep it up dude.
Most infections like the dollar flu from division is highly weak towards fire. It cannot survive high temperatures. So fire break is also a decontamination unit.
If you play the black ops 3 campaign, Singapore is hit by virus and is abandoned in a few of the missions except the 54i where you see seraph, the woman you cut the hand off of to access a server, the ferris wheel comes down on an ensuing boat chase.
Okay hold on. In the BO3 campaign we all remember what went down in Singapore. It was the Coallecense Disaster that caused all the death and destruction. And if it was for disease control why has no one repopulated Singapore later like when BO3 happened. Either he's burning the bodies so that no one will find out about the CIA black project that was found 20 years later by Taylor and Hendricks or they retconed the whole Singapore disaster and replaced it with this viral outbreak. Can someone else acknowledge the Singapore disaster?
I think he had flashbacks to his father abusing his sister which made him mad and those are current thoughts (flashbacks) running through his head. Regretting not going the extra step in lighting him and the entire room on fire, but only lighting the chair he's sleeping on which is what he thought was enough to kill his father... but just a theory.
at 5:57 the quote that says he has no fear no conscience no weakness , is from the misson in black ops 1 where mason goes to the pentagon . this line is said in the limo when mason is chatting to macnamera.
I think it could be that rehabilitation place and he was to traumatised by what he done to his sister and they changed that and his memory to keep him focused but that just want I think
Firebreak's flashback is different because it's what he wishes he could do, probably the doll reminded him of his sister which he failed to protect from his father, so basically anger from the past. It adds a very sensitive and dark side to the character showing that till this day his hatred for his father is so much that he fantasizes killing him.
Maybe fire break has the flashback because he has remorse for the suffering he has put his sister through. That of which he regrets internally and wish he hadn't done that.
I chalk up the flashback/transmission differences to what happened to Firebreak as a kid to Treyarch not paying attention to the lore they established in the previous entry
I’m so sad no ones gonna see this, please spread if you do. It probably isn’t important but ya it’s always worth mentioning. So in Bo2, in the map Cargo, far out of the map there is the exact building with 3 tall buildings and some sort of boat on top of it. If you want to see it, look for a Ripped Robby video where he’s exploring outside of bo2 maps. The thumbnail looks click bait and has Donald Trump at the Capitol building in d.c. I’m not trying to promote Ripped Robby btw.
Couple months late, but at the end you ask about his flashback, is cause that what he wanted to happened instead of what really happened and him seeing that doll in Singapore "triggered him" to have a flashback of that night of the event and remembering his sister
This is why bo4 needs a campaign

"Killing people who are already dead."
*CONFUSION 100*
It's weird to think we are older than all the specialists
Okay hold on. In the BO3 campaign we all remember what went down in Singapore. It was the Coallecense Disaster that caused all the death and destruction. And if it was for disease control why has no one repopulated Singapore later like when BO3 happened. Either he's burning the bodies so that no one will find out about the CIA black project that was found 20 years later by Taylor and Hendricks or they retconed the whole Singapore disaster and replaced it with this viral outbreak. Can someone else acknowledge the Singapore disaster?
Just a fun fact.
That's a reskined model from the FBI's Assault Main in Black Ops 2.
The flashback he had is what he thought, and wished would've happened that night
Bo4 campaign should be all the Specialists together trying to defeat a really powerful guy
9:14 A virus has been spreading around the world in 2038.
Me: You are 28 years late.
Don't you mean 18 years late? It's 2020 and 2038 - 18 = 2020
*Get your facts straight, kid*
so every virus is Covid now and every game ever has covid in it?
That tower is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world
*killing people who are already dead*
The black ops 3 one is the lie, he covered up the fact he killed his father
I think he had flashbacks to his father abusing his sister which made him mad and those are current thoughts (flashbacks) running through his head. Regretting not going the extra step in lighting him and the entire room on fire, but only lighting the chair he's sleeping on which is what he thought was enough to kill his father... but just a theory.
Man i love FireBreak.
I main him in BO3.
Probably will main him too in BO4
at 5:57 the quote that says he has no fear no conscience no weakness , is from the misson in black ops 1 where mason goes to the pentagon . this line is said in the limo when mason is chatting to macnamera.
Because he still wants revenge because his plan didn’t work
I think it could be that rehabilitation place and he was to traumatised by what he done to his sister and they changed that and his memory to keep him focused but that just want I think
In bo3 the last mission in campaign at one part there is the fereswheel and in a another level where ur on a boat there is fereswheel
the multiplayer maps are also linked to the BO3 campaign mission the quarantine zone where you are fighting and boating around the landmarks
You can’t kill people who are already dead
I know that don't really make any sense
Zombies duh
Hes just burning them so the virus wont spread and another reason is that burning the bodies will disintegrate.
Firebreak's flashback is different because it's what he wishes he could do, probably the doll reminded him of his sister which he failed to protect from his father, so basically anger from the past. It adds a very sensitive and dark side to the character showing that till this day his hatred for his father is so much that he fantasizes killing him.
Singapore was where nova 6 released
In black ops 3 campaign
Yes but black ops 3 is actually years ahead of bo4
Ohh didn't know that
@@sqworm5397 Nova 6 was released prior to the events of bo3
@@XandeR1800
nova 6 was fist tested in the 1940s
my grandma is on probation, like if you agree
Maybe fire break has the flashback because he has remorse for the suffering he has put his sister through. That of which he regrets internally and wish he hadn't done that.
I chalk up the flashback/transmission differences to what happened to Firebreak as a kid to Treyarch not paying attention to the lore they established in the previous entry
Or the George Lucas'd it.
or it could be like the joker, either one, or neither of what he talked about happened, just like the jokers scar stories
Killing people that are already dead
The tall towers with the big thing on it is a landmark in Singapore. It’s one giant building that’s used for parties or whatever
RageReaperX III I saw it yeah it’s true holy shit
You’ve got a good eye and memory
he could be the cleaner boss when you rescue paul rhodes in tom clancy's the division
Ha ha ha hah... no.
Look at how firebreak looks to the room, with anger and suffering that's why he see killing his father
I’m pretty sure the 3 high rise buildings are in Singapore
Are you being sarcastic?
Couple months late, but at the end you ask about his flashback, is cause that what he wanted to happened instead of what really happened and him seeing that doll in Singapore "triggered him" to have a flashback of that night of the event and remembering his sister
I agree that's why I think he grabbed the doll it reminds him of his sister that he either doesn't see much of anymore or she died
The way u present all the details is AMAZING . Keep up the good work 🖒
9:44 that girl looks like she has whatever was in the gas from when the girl from black ops 3 campaign killed herself
Wait why is firebreaks sisters doll in singapore?
Yeah wtf¿¿¿¿¿¿
Its most likely a different girls doll not his sister
are you fucking stupid? its a different doll, it just reminded him of his sisters. lmfao
Kai Ealden it was a different doll, causing the flashback in the first place.
I think the reason why he’s flashback is different from reality is because it’s a dream.
He's cleaning up from a virus outbreak
