- Materials and Technique Explained Below!!
Use This One Technique to Make Both Baskets and the Lid. You Can Make the Base as Wide as You Want by Repeating the First Weaving. Using the Matt Sealer / Glue Will Make the Basket Rigid and it Will Keep the Shape. You Can Always Leave This Out if You Want a Soft Basket.
When You Weave the Individual Strings, You Can Make the Basket As Wide or as Narrow as You Want by Tightening or Losening the String. I Used About 2.5 m in Total for Weaving the String (Fold in Half). 8 or 6 Strands of String for the Base; Each Approx. 20 cm Long (or as Many Strands as You Want). You Can Always Cut the Excess Off. I Also Used Different Shapes of Lids etc. To Keep the Shape of the Baskets. The Lid for the Oval Basket didn's Work as well as The Basket Itself.
Hope You Enjoy This Tutorial!

This looks so easy and I have a lot of twine so I just had to try it. Well, it didn’t go so well, my strings kept getting twisted and knotted up but I refuse to give up! I’ll keep trying til I get it. Thank you for sharing this. Once I get it figured it out I’ll have lots of little baskets for my miniatures.
Yes please don't give up! It took me a couple of times to get it right but once you know the technique, it's quick and easy 😊💕
Reminds me of getting my basket weaving merit badge.
😄💕
Excellent tuto, comme toujours. Merci 😊
Je suis content que tu les aimes💕😊
9:20 omg I squealed at how cute that teeny one is! 😍
Very clever! I've got a ton of that paper rope / faux raffia stuff in colours that I thought I'll never use, but now I can! I'll just paint them after! 😁
The tiny one is my favourite😄💕Painting them is a great idea!!
Love these, they’re so pretty, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
Thank you very much Julie💕Glad you like them
Fantastic tutorial, love these.
Thank you very much! Glad you like them💕
Very satisfying video, beautiful baskets! 💕
Thank you💕💕
I have everything necessary to do this, but I feel like you make it look so much easier than it would be for me. 😊
It took me a few times to get it right but after I got the weaving part correct it was very quick and easy to make. Once I remembered to twist the weaving string the correct way I just kept repeating the technique until I was happy with the height. I hope it won't be as difficult for you as it might first appear. I hope you will succeed! 💕
These are absolutely adorable! You are so good at this!❤
Thank you💕💕I'm glad you like them. They were a bit fiddly at first but when I got the technique, they were quick and easy to make😊
Soooo beautiful 💕Thank you for sharing.

Excelente ❤gracias por compartir
¡Gracias! De nada 💕
Lovely little baskets!
Thank you! 😊💕💕
@tinycraftlife I really appreciate how soft they look. You know what I mean? A lot of mini baskets look so stiff and hard, but these have that softer look to them like you'd find with real sized cotton woven baskets. Even the raffia basket doesn't look hard or coarse. You're so clever!
@@nessiemonstercrafts I'm glad you like them. I wanted to make old laundry baskets with lids for my Victorian dollhouse and tried these different types of string I have in my stash. I was plesantly surprised how well they all worked. Even the raffia. After I got the technique right, it was a bit like knitting with your fingers 😄
Great tutorial ❤
Thank you very much💕😊
These are really good, I have been working on this medieval diorama for ages and wanted to make panier baskets for a donkey miniature, I can imagine it will take a while to get the hang of it but, I will try because any mini baskets I have in my collection look too hard and wont lie naturally on the model donkey. These look softer so are more likely to hang the right way. Thank you, you are so good at miniatures and always inspire me to try new stuff❤
Thank you so much 🥰I'm glad this was a useful video. It took me a few times to get the weaving part right but once I got the technique, it was very quick and easy. Very soft string might be best for your project (with no glue). I think it should hang more naturally.
Fabulous such talent ❤
Thank you very much💕💕
Very good❤❤
Thank you so much💕
Amazing 🎉🎉
Thank you very much😄💕
Bellissimi 👏 👏 👏 💯 💯 💯 ❤❤
Grazie mille!💕💕
