just before the big up move. I see abnormally high volume , and high -delta. That’s tells me high sell volume. But, shorting at 50% of the balance area is hopium. I’m assuming that big green candles gobbled up all the selling , combined with short covering, and up up an away. Great stuff , would love to see some live trading of these concepts.
Hi, i went through the training module offers on the website. Where should i start and which one i should take... i do understand a little bit of everything in trading, but I still need to train myself. I am always interested in trading orderflow, footprint and DOM simply because it gives you insight of the candle chart pattern. Please do recommend !!
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader I use the tradovate platform and would like to get access to footprint charts. However I use a Mac so I am unable to use sierra chart like yourself. I currently use tradingview for my charting but don’t know where to go for orderflow tools (footprint). I want to take your course but would like orderflow tools to get the complete experience. Any suggestions on what software I could you being on a Mac? Thank you
Tradovate has footprint charts on their own platform which you can use online on the web through any MAC/Windows/Linux system. I'm pretty sure they even have a desktop version for Mac you can download of their platform.
excellent video i love using footprint and cumulative delta at my interest levels helps me read what is going on better so i can make a more informed decision
It's an indicator that can be applied to various markets. Yes, you can use it in crypto, but mostly works with highly liquid/volume coins. TradingView does not have it yet, but pretty much everyone else does. I use it on Sierra Chart.
I use gocharting, basically offers the same thing if not better for a really cheap price, best charting imo, plus they have a web based footprint chart.
Thank you so much for another great video. Is it possible get this chartbook by any chance? I cannot figure out how to highlight the high volumes in the footprint.
I have many custom chartboooks available at www.priceactionvolumetrader.com/sierrachartbookstore The adjustment is pretty simple. In the studies settings for the numbers bar (footprint) indicator. Set it to volume on column 1 or bidxask whatever you want. Then where it says "column 1 background coloring method put "based on volume - actual". Then set the colors in the ranges to whatever highlight tones you want. To adjust the thresholds for the highlights go down to "column 1 actual volume compare threshold" and set the numbers of volume thresholds to highlight.
How are you highlighting high volume and how are you highlighting the highest volume in each candlestick? Is that in the number bars settings, or the large volume trade indicator? thanks.
Hi, can you please tell me the equavalent of 1000 volume per trade for NQ , also how much tick you are using for the clusters on 3000tick Chart? i use 4ticks on NQ for now but
It's all trial and error. You just gotta test out. In ticks and volume charts are pretty similar. For the 3000 tick footprint in ES I am using over 750 trade volume for the highlights. But every market has it's own nuances and even time of day will vary the volatility and volumes coming through.
Under the numbers bar setting in the Sierra chart study. Color based on volume thresholds. You can find my custom SC templates including the color shading footprint here: www.priceactionvolumetrader.com/sierrachartbookstore
It's true that poor lows/highs tend to be revisited but if I see a good volume wall there, that give me confirmation that zone will be defended. Or at least I expect it to, obviously nothing works 100% of the time.

Sounds like the Trading with Orderlies and Volume Profile would be what you would get the most out of.
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader ... Thx for your quick reply. I should look for the module to what u advise me
Great video, these concepts could be use in a day trading on commodities like cocoa, coffee etc..?
I'm sure. I don't know how liquid or volumes in those markets. I definitely prefer indexes, but should should work.
Great video. Do you use heatmap in your trading ?
Not really. Perry much the footprint lets me see what I need.

Where do you get your foot print chart from?
How do you get it?
Is there foot print chart for crypto?
If there is how much?

I love your videos! Thanks! Can we get an update on how to configure Numbers bar and Numbers Bars Calculated Values? Thanks!
It’s all in the studies settings. Just go to analysis, studies and select numbers bar and you can change everything there c
How are you highlighting high volume and how are you highlighting the highest volume in each candlestick? Is that in the number bars settings, or the large volume trade indicator? thanks.
It is under the numbers bars study. There is an option to highlight the POC of each candlestick and also to color bars based on different parameters
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader I found it. Thank you!

sir, you means by delta is imbalance between agg buyer-agg seller. Right ?
Yes

colour coding is cool - how do you do that
Under the numbers bar setting in the Sierra chart study. Color based on volume thresholds.

I noticed that the low had an uunfinished auctions. I was told to never get in unless its a finished auction bc price will come back. is that true?

is your template for sell too?
You can find many templates I’ve developed for very low prices here: www.priceactionvolumetrader.com/sierrachartbookstore
How did you have the setting volume X delta?
It's in the settings. In Sierra Chart just set column 1 as volume and column 2 as Bib-Ask (Delta)
