@@palawanese1067 For the maintenance, wala naman po problema. Pero sa spare sparts, based on experience nila, may mga parts need iorder from Manila or even from Japan. Pero generally, available lang naman po mga basic parts.
Engineers and designers really work well in Mazda. 5 years without a massive rework on exterior aesthetic and it still look better on most cars within or lower than its price.
Still heartily driving my 2016 Hatchback Mazda 3 even after all these years. Looking to save up and get the latest model even though we already have a crossover. Nothing beats the driving experience in the Mazda3. Thanks for this review AD!
I love seeing a Mazda 3 fastback head on (or a Mazda 6) in Soul Red or Snowflake White. And If you drive one, know that if we sit together in a traffic jam, I’ll be looking at your car, drooling.
i have 2007 mazda 3 hatcback and 2013 mazda sedan. If given the opportunity to buy another vehicle id still go for Mazda. Very reliable and powerful engine, the handling is fantastic, and it cruises comfortably on both highways and city streets.
Yup...but ang mamahal na.. for the price of a 2 or 3, pwde kana kumuha ng crossover or suv sa ibang reliable brand. Pag kukuha ka talaga ng mazda dapat malalim na bulsa mo. Hehe. Mazda 2 lng nakuha ko. Im thinking of getting a mazda 3 for upgrade, but i know na for the same price i can get a pick up or a cross over from other brands.. 😢
I really appreciated the consistent comparisons to Civic and MG, and it’s great to see the production value returning. I noticed before that the script seemed a bit more improvised, like a vlog, but now you’re back to your top-notch production format. The jokes are spot on, too! As for the car, I have a neighbor with an old Mazda3, and I can’t help but admire it every time I pass their house. It’s a stunning vehicle, and based on your review, the interior stands out above its competitors.
I had the mazda 3 2017. 7 years already and still I can't let go of it. Still feels like brand new. The smooth ride. Planning to replace it but it doesn't want me to. I'll still go with mazda. Japan really is reliable.
Timeless design, great driving dynamics, pleasurable exterior and interior design and feel, just an awesome car even if it's 5yrs old. Still one of my dream cars. though the only 3 i can get right now is the 1st gen model, hopefully one day i can get my hands on the latest 3. Thanks for the review AD and good to have Jack back!
G-vectoring system is one of the things that make the 3 a really fun car to drive. To go on a sharp curve at 100 kph, car’s weight shifted to the front avoiding oversteering, no body roll, turanzas that hug the road, engine that roars, maaaan, it feels like no other.
HiFrom Malaysia! Upgraded from mazda2 and it’s the best car I’ve ever own. Interior quality is too good compared to civic or corolla. So nice you guys get the HEV
It really is a fun car to drive (and at the same time, still keeping that lowkey stealthy look), used to watch AD’s review back then and it really pushed me to get the Mazda 3 this year, loving the PQ color! Occasionally I spot some M3s and I can’t avoid to be a fanboy, I honestly forget I drive one out of fascination.
Kudos to Mazda for keeping the 6 speed AT than those drowning virtual 7 or 6 speed CVTs.. On the other hand, it still hold it's elegance among the rest.
I have a Mazda 3 Fastback from 2014, it's never failed me mechanically, other than the usual outgoings or MOT's, Services, Tyre's. It has been extremely reliant. I did go on Mazda website to look to replace my 2014, personally for me I did not see any real reason to upgrade. Yes there is more Technical upgrades, but nothing as a real improvement for me. Mechanically it's not failed me, and I love it. I did look at Mazda site to potentially purchasing a new Mazda 3, but Mazda for me is getting more like other companies where you can view the car you want but have to pay more in "Options" for the car you really want (like BMW and others) which is a shame.
Wutah😂😂😂... can't imagine that you have presented the turning sound of a rotator and signal light perefectly!😅 ... now! You have earned a fan not just a subs! ❤
Great looking car, almost timeless.. for 2020, it has been probably half a decade? since an actual refresh and a new set of engines. The mild hybrid part is cool but you cant help but feel as if its an afterthought by mazda. Great interior as usual from a modern mazda. Probably the best car for those who want a traditional basic premium priced car.
If you like Mazda 3 driving feel but need more practicality and power then CX-30 SkyactiveX or G Turbo is a great option as well. Best mix of power, enjoyment, design, comfort, inner space, size, fuel economy and reliability that I have driven in its price range.
Owner here of Mazda 3 2015, and honestly, someone who drove a toyota, Mitsubishi, and a Geely, Mazda is a whole new caliber. Actually planning to buy a Miata na!
I had the 2015 model of the Mazda 3 with a 2.0L engine and the biggest downgrade on these newer Mazda 3 models is the torsion beam rear suspension. I know Mazda is cost cutting to keep this model more affordable but it’s such a loss to get rid of the multi link suspension. Matagtag na yung ngayon and the earlier models really had a good ride and can take corners a lot better.
the media/test drive units of the hybrid variant were just recently allocated. if you watch autoindustriya's review, its the same car based on conduction sticker. also i believe the 3 is in its mid cycle refresh given these updates vs the earlier m hybrid units
For some context as to how widely cars can be designed for purpose dimensions be damned, this is about the size of a Suzuki XL7 ,a compact 7 seat MPV. As a passenger in the second row you get way more legroom than whats offered in this car and way more trunk space. This is the crux of my issues with Mazda, their cars are great to look at and the drivers experience is top notch, but they are just impractical in all aspects. Because of how much they curve the chassis they significantly reduce storage and usable space for people in the rear.
unless they bring the latest US spec models and latest tech huds like the china brands i think still OP to buy them since its outdated that much that they're selling here in ph.
i was actually looking at this (non-hybrid) a few months ago but was turned off by the bad rear visibility and the cheap twist beam (the cheaper corolla altis has independent suspension). also the screen sucks coz in 2024 i wanna be able to pinch to zoom on google maps. ended up getting a honda city hatch w/ a whopping 170k discount. a LOT cheaper, just as spacious, has great screen, clicky a/c controls, and the best folding rear seats on the planet.
Comparing the city to this? Sorry to break it to you bro. But build wise, quality wise, performance wise, driving dynamic wise, it's so unfair for the city to be compared to mazda 3. This is a far superior car that everyone will agree on. City is a good car, but not on this level. Even the civic can't compete the mazda's overall build quality.
@@rinkashime3458 superior in the things you have mentioned but not superior to the things he mentioned. Not to mention the wait times on these things are insane, I waited 6months for a particular color and still nothing.

5 years and counting, a testament to Mazda’s perspective on quality and refinement.
Mazda 3 2024 fastback owner here and loving every detail of it😍
Am thinking hard either HEV or plain naturally aspirated engine to buy, any thoughts?

I prefer Mazda’s minimalist designs over those of its competitors which has robotic/edgy designs.

Yes. Nothing beats a minimalist design. Only problem with this are non-spacious rear seats

Yep. I'll always admire from afar a Mazda 3 Fastback or the Sportwagon 6.
