How about you finish that sentence! “Click the link below to see a presentation that shows you exactly what you need to learn to BUILD ANY BUSINESS” selective hearing much!?
Fucking shit. I got dragged into a seminar, and I don't know whether or not I should even put more time into it. The only benefits I see are the learning experience, which ties in with my current area of study. I don't know what to do.
Pink Fried Memes yeah I went to a small one where one of the recruiters said I “made it through the third level of the process” and it was at his house where me, 2 other “candidates” were surrounded by like 6 other sellouts and they were promoting their bs the whole time. I’m only staying to see more of this bullshit and just experience it. The moment I have to pay is the time I’m gonna pop
@@BingaBangoBongo don't do anything. Stonewall any further conversation to do with it and inform whoever bought you along that you will be doing so. Stand that ground. Don't sign anything and don't buy anything.
Why is this guy defending Amway when he said he's no longer in it? Why did he quit? You can talk all you want to about how it's not about driving your friends and family crazy anymore, but the fact remains - that's the way people were told to do it for decades. It's only a matter of time before it gets a bad rap on the internet as well, and then what?
He obviously does not understand or he is denying what a Pyramid scheme is. Amway sells the “sizzle” and not the steak. You make money by bringing people in, not off the products. And if your up line ( people above you) sees that you are not bringing people in, you’ll hear about it.
Master Sergeant No, you won't hear about it. At least not in a negative way. They will try to work with you on how you can educate people with how the business works.
Wrong Brade. I did Amway for 4 years. It started off good, but quickly moves from love-bombing to "You need to buy more tapes, you need to buy this book, you need to attend another meeting/conference". After I wasn't producing as much as I was in the beginning, there was no "working with you' at all. I lost friends left and right. So, for you it maybe ok, for me...never again.
Master Sergeant Then your uplines sucked. I was encouraged to buy tapes and books too. But I never heard about it in a negative way. I know people in the business who were doing it since the 80's and none of that stuff happened to them... or at least they never told me. I did it for 2 years and it never happened to me like that. Different experiences.
The real money in Amway is in the tools all distributers are taught to buy. That pays outside of Amway cash flow. This guy falls right into line by blaming the new distributors for not being successful. Mathematical evidence shows most distribution ends at about two years, when the distributor runs out of money for more tools.
@@fattrolls8094 tapes, books, and meetings held on local, state, or national level. If you don’t buy the tools, it’s your fault you’re not successful! Even if you could share the tapes or CDs you are expected to buy your own copy. And the meetings are often recorded and made into tapes or CDs…
This is 100% true. Your upline will tell you all about the "money nobody tells you about" and the "real business" but never explain where it comes from. Emerald Directs and above get a share of the tool, seminar, and major function money. Ever wonder why when you pay at an open meeting, seminar/rally, or major function that they ask who your upline emerald or diamond is? It's so they can pay the right people. I put this to the test by cancelling the standing tool order with my upline emerald and promptly never heard from the guy again.
I was a distributor many years ago and got turned off by the constant indoctrination of the business. On a few occasions, I was approached at a movie theater in a grocery store and a mall by over friendly people that try to start conversation with me and I asked them if they were with Amway and right away their eyes bugged out and they realize I was onto them lol. I can spot them from a mile away. Prospecting in the evening time with their spouse. Lol they are so obvious.
The indoctrination is the way that a very few people actually make most of their money. Getting people hooked on expensive motivational nights, earns them the big bucks. Getting tapes, or whatever they have now earns them loads of cash. Think of it this way. If it were all honest, you would think that your upline would basically allow you to go to "motivational" nights, have tapes, etc, for free, because in theory your success is their success. But, look a bit deeper and you will see that the "tools" cult is where the money is made, and while Amway, may technically not be a pyramid scheme, the "tools cult" certainly is...
you are right about that, its weird when someone aproaches you at a store for example. But its not the business, that depends on the team and also how people learned to do it. Some of my team partners would do it and i always found it weird but i am not ok with that. But if you do it right, Amway is a great business. But its all up to the individual not the business. Amway is already doing its part by providing the merchandise the rest is all up to each and of us
Someone tried to recruit me today and I asked her straight up if it was a scheme and she responded too quick for my comfort like she was trained to shut that one down..so I looked it up as soon as we split
The biggest problem with ALL MLM businesses is that the products are grossly over-priced in order to sustain multi-level commission systems. Since only a very small number of people really make any money, most people actually LOSE money simply by buying products that are 2x-3x more expensive than comparable store bough brands.
Kinda funny, considering that's exactly what Amway teaches their recruiters to do (meet clients at wealthy looking cafes and wear rented suits to give the impression that they make a lot of money, aside from literally saying it, even if they don't).
@@SSJKenpachiZaraki sure, but that's literally his living room. He's done very well for himself and made good financial decisions on several fronts. I'm not saying Amway is great (I wouldn't do it) but Tyson is a solid guy.
No. The big problem with Amway, is not Amway itself, (mind you their products are over priced, and they don't pay enough to distributors/ sellers) but its the "Tools Cult" that is loosely associated with it. If people have not figured it out already the big money earners do not make most of their money by selling or distributing washing powder or any of the actual Amway products. They make their money by selling the tapes, books, functions, motivational nights etc. You are told that you have to go to this night or that convention, you have to read this book, etc, and if you don't your upline either wont help you or is reluctant to. Amway itself is not a pyramid scheme, but the tools cult certainly is. Its very shady and even sinister...
I was in Amway a while back, and was told by my direct distributor, and by my diamond distributor the very same thing you told me, "consult all your family and friends because that's all you got for now." I was under the impression that Amway pays the successful distributors to give the wrong information, but I don't know. I always felt that the biggest money earners in Amway try to keep the new rookie distributors at the bottom by creating an ever widening base to make it very difficult to impossible to reach the top. Looking back they were being nice to me, but I felt like I was being looked down upon. They were probably secretly thinking, "there's another future failure."
Well you prove them right because you quit. Your up line and your diamond wants you to win because you winning in Amway he would be winning as well. That’s the Gold part of the company.

You literally can get a check in a week at your job … most people I’ve talked to from AMWAY have been working for years and barely have anything to show for it . This guy is just another lying sponsor 😑
Active income VS Passive income. An MLM is just another idea to create a passive income. There’s more ideas and opportunities out there. Not everything will work out for one person. They would have to make it work themselves.
Correct KOBE You can get check in a week at a job. The friend I know in AMWAY actually does well him and his wife. Not at first they didnt as in a couple of months not so good but you have to learn your way around it. I own my own marketing company and its not easy at all and for awhile no income at all but I worked through it. Theres always a chance you can lose your money in any business start up it is taking a risk. Now is it tiddering the line in legal ways yes but its still on the legal side. Im not an IBO for them but I attended a meeting with some of their reps last night. Again if someone does try amway like i might for a couple of months have a side job! its not supposed to be full time!!! its a part time job

Everyone can make it up, with your own personality you can be a really good leader, all you have to do is use the system in your favor, find people with the skills you leaking and help them find other people as well, this business model is very simple, we are people helping people helping themselves, unfortunately there's a lot of people with wrong information and bad intentions and makes a good business model look bad
I swear when those people who compare regular jobs to a pyramid to divert the label from the pyramid company itself. I hope you realize that the "owners" are more at risk than the workers at the bottom. At the bottom, they are guaranteed a paycheck for their labor and benefits (Key word: Guaranteed), however, the owner has to take a lot more "risk" for his own company. In MLM groups or companies, you are taking the risk of building your business from someone else's product. And something I agree with you is that a lot of people aren't meant to be in business, because many of them are just eye balling money and thinking its quick cash to get rich. Some people will realize why their boss gets paid more than they do. The owners has to PAY people to do their ads, PAY partners for distribution, PAY workers to do the physical labor of the company's product. The only thing I've seen in MLM, is people PAY to join, PAY to attend those crazy seminars, PAY for their own flight, PAY for their own hotel to attend the business meeting. So, yes they both are a pyramid, however, the difference is which way the money is moving, MLM is from the bottom going up.
I was thinking, for regular jobs, salaries commensurate with experience, expertise, and level of responsibility as well. So it's not like a pyramid scheme.
Ohhh a good comment In a way a little bit its like purchasing a franchise in the company. Like i said in another comment its a risk like the stock market or crypto, nfts, metaverse, sports betting etc lol again if your starting anything especially a business money is not going to be there right away lol

That’s a great podcast and well produced/researched. I was in Amway for a short time and glad I got out. What happened was kinda shocking and a real wake up call.
Guess You haven’t found your people! Because everything is pretty much “overpriced” Ex: TARGET oh & especially the mall. There’s tons of people in this world & TONS of people who spend their big bucks there! Rather invest it on best quality products that we already use at home & plus Meeting new people showing them the opportunity! It will be each individual’s own WILL & EFFORT to make it work! Depending on YOUR Effort is what will get you to a life long quality lifestyle of freedom! That Amway Speaks About! But of course to each it’s own!
People you may know well suddenly call you up with a " great idea for making money." Can you go to a meeting? They don't reveal what the idea is and then suddenly yu find out its Amway. They keep it a secret. That sneaky strategy tells me it's shady. The products they sell are OK but my gosh the rest of it is just ridiculous. Who has thst many friends to invite to constant meetings. This is as bad as Rodan and Fields.
That happen when you found people with lack of information, there's a lot of negative people out there about the Amway business because of them, when you do your research and find the kind of business model it is and how much you can do with it you'll become a true leader, and not just for the business but in general
He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf. Proverbs 11:28 WEBBE This tells us to not rely on riches. Which means who cares if you're making money or not, you do what it takes to help people and the money will be there. Secondly, to provide what I said in the recent comment. “Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. Right? Why shouldn’t someone get paid more for THEIR business, they made it, they make the rules, whether or not that works is their fault, not their employees, employees don’t have to take risks that could destroy their job
The biggest problem that people encounter when they start Amway is that they think that by registering they will start make money. Wrong... You have to learn how to be an entrepreneur in MLM, work in a team, and work to create networks to create passive income. And everything works online nowadays.

Amway does work, the same as any business will work for you, if you invest in it and spend the time building it. the reason people fail with Amway is because they are told by 95% of the people around them that they cant succeed in it. even there family and friends will tell them they cant succeed. most of the time its because these people have heard of someone doing Amway who ended up quitting or they tried it themselves and quite because they basically didn't try hard enough but they wont admit to that so they tell you its crap and doesn't work. if I told you I will one day have a big house and a Ferrari but currently I work in a factory earning minimum wage, the same 95% of people will most probably laugh and tell me I'm stupid. you see people love to smash your dreams, they love to tell you that you wont succeed and people also cant wait to say "I told you it wont work". you can either concentrate on your dreams or listen to these kind of people, but I can tell you this, if you listen to 95% of people you probably will never get your dreams. Do I do Amway?? No I don't. I did Amway a long time ago (18 years) I enjoyed it but it wasn't right for me at that time. yes I failed to make the ton of money I was hoping to make. why? because I didn't have the money I needed to invest in my business. in fact I didn't even have money to feed my electricity meter. if you want to make money you need to invest money. FACT. However I used what I had learned from Amway, I learned to ignore these people who tell you that your dreams are unreal. As well as that I learned a great deal of other things from Amway. I got my head down and worked hard. Now I have a multimillion pound property portfolio. The funny thing is, the people who told me I couldn't succeed in life are still working in the same factory I worked in when I was doing Amway. probably telling people that they once knew a guy who done Amway and you wont succeed in life.

So if Amway has junk products as you say. Why does Amway have the #1 Multivitamin in the "WORLD" (DOUBLE X). And it's not even sold in store's. How is it possible to where Amway can take a product such as X's energy drinks which did not make money in store's. In fact, they were almost if not bankrupt. And Amway bought the business owned all rights to it. And made it the #1 selling energy drink in the "WORLD". And now its not sold in store's. I went to a Amway branch yesterday for the first time and i met a couple of people who told me their story about getting into the business. One guy i met said he only made $10 a month in return when he first tried it. Now hes been in amway for 23 years and he makes well over 100k/year. I also met another guy who said he works at Chase bank. That had me thinking why would he still have a chase bank job and be a IBO at the same time?? He said his father is also involved with amway and said he makes over 150k/year which is considered to be diamond level. This is basically a hustle type of business. Its really all about sales. There is no pyramid scheme involved because pyramid schemes have no guarantee but in amway, you get a guarantee depending on how many products you sell, recruit, network. People get confused and call it a pyramid scheme when in fact no one is higher or lower then you. Its all about how much work ethic you put in and if you can sell day in and day out.
Thats what they all say to brainwash you. Those people there are like cults. They try to belittle every other career in the world and say why its so great to be them only to lure you into their business so they can recieve a bigger check at the end of the month.
It's not what they told me, it's what I saw with my bear eyes what they did for the society. There are so many viewpoints around the globe because this business is about People, and you know what will happen when there are so much people. It's like some people feel calling people black or white is racist or telling some students from North Korea their country isn't the origin of Human... Sry for talking so much..
Erm if it's abit complicated up there actually I was just trying to say they are bad people and good people... ._. There aren't so much restriction in Amway so people got all the different ways to build their business. Which means this guy in the video only experienced, what his environment let him experience... You get what I mean? Lol😂
No i have no idea what you're saying. You're not being logically sound. I'm talking about the Amway company and how they try to brainwash you to join the business. You on the other hand, is talking about racism. I dont understand your analogy.
No one is ever IN Amway, you're in the state you live in. You don't DO Amway, either, they're not a person, and you don't SELL Amway, because you can't sell something you don't own. When opening a business with Amway, you can become an independent distributor and sell to other people, or you can sponsor other people and help them create other business owners. When sponsoring people, you don't get money for sponsoring them. You get money based on performance from yourself and from who you sponsor.
iceeirony Um as an IBO that makes you a small owner of Amway...the reason Amway's stocks are "said" to be private is because they must get consent from the majority of the IBOs in Amway to do so. You own a portion of their stock aka you are an owner of Amway. You do SELL Amway. And you need to learn that Amway is in support of the TPP (Trans Pacific-Partnership) as well, Read everything on it and look up businesses in support of it ( and it is not on an Anti-Amway site) You will see why you owners need to voice your opinion and change Amway's decision. Because you all are being puppets making Amway big money while you get pennies in comparison and Amway still has full power to do all legal decisions and moral ones as well that may effect us all (Amway IBOs and non Amway people) negatively. Voice your opinion and use your ownership to effect the company for the better. Please read up on these things, do not take my word for it.
I still don't sell Amway, lol; I still don't technically own it. Owning a piece of it is different. I can sell Amway products, and am basically a distributor of their products but I don't go around selling anything because I technically don't have to.
iceeirony You are an owner. Do you not get how ownership works? When stockholders say they own a small portion of a company, it is not just to inflate their ego but they are legitimate owners. Owning Nike stocks does not mean you go around promoting or selling NIKE but you do own it and depending on how much you own, you can have major influence or small influences. I am saying you and your uplines and downlines and line of sponsorships can address these concerns like the TPP
iceeirony Right in terms of Amway it is very similar. You guys need to address the concerns of the TPP bill that is being passed and why Amway is one many companies backing this thing. Aren't you at all concerned?
Not everyone wants to build an giant Amway business when they join, they might like the discounts and the opportunity to have a debate on the products that they are already buying at Target etc. I know Target doesn't send me a check at the end of the month. They are just giving you back that average 30 cents on the dollar that would have been used for advertising and marketing and paying it back to the consumer. Pretty simple I say. If a store is going to pay me to buy from them, way would I shop somewhere that doesn't pay me. I signed up a little over a year ago, and just like Costco, got my card and buy my products and I get 19% of my At&t bill monthly have the best of the best products available to me and I don't have to go to the store. That was a no brainer!
And that's what Amway is. Now, introduce the third party groups, the ones that make the seminars, the conventions. The ones that have you pay to get into an event, then they make you purchase the same material on tape. It becomes really fanatical and cult like really quick after you join them. I was in it for 2 years. I've spent so much more than I ever got back, but that's my fault for being a follower and buying into the scheme. Your approach is the reasonable, consume and get paid and maybe occasionally recommending to someone else.
I started in Oregon. I made money. Then I moved out of state. Tried getting back into Amway, but got a bad vibe from new sponsor. Recently looking for new sponsor. My mind is made up. No one duped me. I do want to help other people make money. I realize I have to work odd hours again. If one is hungry enough you'll get to where your goal is.
@@isaiahjr9259 ooh really? You need to stop drinking that koolaid, you sound like you’re in a cult sir. The fact that you think you’re running a legitimate business kills me. You have no idea what it is like to have your own business.
Amway is about building your own business. Amway has been around a long time and if they weren't legit they would have gone out of business a long time ago. You really can make more money than your upline. It just depends on how much time you want to put into building your own business. In a pyramid scheme your upline will always make more than you. Amway isn't like that.
And BILLIONAIRE Robery Kiyosaki supports Amway and their business model. A businessman who started from the ground up and has investments and makes the money to back up his words and actions. I think I'll listen to the people, such as Kiyosaki, that have the fruit on the tree, instead of other people who don't know their ass from their elbow when it comes to things other than a JOB in this world. If you're not qualified to charge for your advice on a topic about MONEY and FINANCES, then you need to stop giving it away for free. You aren't doing anything but not helping anyone. Amway is also debt free and privately owned. They're not going anywhere, guys.
iceeirony Robery Kiyosaki never made any doing MLM, he made money selling his book and tapes to naive people like you in an MLM. Big fucking difference, as the only way to make money in MLM is selling books and tapes. 99.9% of people in Amway lose money, that’s a fact.
iceeirony That figure was generous; once you factor in expenses(this includes paying more for basic products than you would pay at 7-11) at least 99.9% of people lose money. I would put the figure closer to 99.99
Because as a customer, you pay retail for the product instead of wholesale which is cheaper for business owners; and as a business owner if you own that 7-11, if you go in to the 7-11 you will also pay retail for the products because you end up putting money back in your own pocket. It's the same concept.
iceeirony wow, you really don’t get it... paying $10 for something you can buy for $9 at 7-11 and $4 at a grocery store is just stupid. Sure, there will be some money to throw around to the people above you. This is because they ripped you of on your purchase lol. Smart people don't go grocery shopping in a convenience store. Funny thing is you pay more than a convenience store, but you don’t get the convenience; you have to wait for it to be shipped to - which you pay for as well rofl. Well i guess its true what they say: there is a sucker born every minute. The amway business model relies on it.

manickreations that's what makes it a scam, they say you can make some extra money with a little side business but in reality you make no money and you end up quitting because you realize hmmm I could be putting all this effort into an actual education, maybe get a liscence, maybe get certified in something, maybe start my own business because if I'm going to be putting in all this effort to sell something maybe it should be something that I actually started so I'm not slaving away to make someone else money
fook me That isn't a scam to say some extra money for a little side business. Everyones goal is different, so one person may only want an extra 100 per month, where someone like me needs 50k per month to give up my job. Not everyone is looking to make tons and no one should ever tell you it isn't work. I am pretty active in the business and I can tell you I don't spend more than 5-8 hrs per week and I am a leader. Technology really has made showing the business quick and I leaverage the team to help with training. I mostly recruit, where I have other people doing the product training, website training, setting up website, and making the list. I have specialists in a leg spreading the work. You wouldn't send a kicker to receive a punt. How my team builds is not the one man band aproach. That would be time consuming.
jtech48103 yeah you make money from convincing people that they can make a little side money from selling crap like energy supplements. You are the snakeyist of all because you know you can't make much money actually selling products and that the real money is in convincing people to sign up. Those people who you recruit probably sell to there friends and family and make a little money and then when they realize hmmm I can make more money from signing people up, and yeah maybe occasionally someone is actually pretty good at selling people nutrition x pills or whatever and that make the company more money but it's a bunch of crap.
fook me You don't make any money from registering people. Where are you getting your information. It is illegal to make money from registration fees, and that is one of the flags people should be looking for when getting into any MLM. We offer Money back gaurantee on the registration so you can test drive the business. The actual business fee is appox. $37 that covers website for a year, credit card transaction, phone app, catalogs. The $13 IBOA fee cover the organization that negotiates the bonus between the IBOs and the Amway which is well worth it. Also, we reward people who sell 150pv of product where a minimum 50pv must come from customer volume. This drives IBOs to build a balanced business for longevity. Just on selling and no recruiting you make $512 on our top of the line skincare system if you find 3 customers per month in the entire USA snd because it is consumable the will replenish every month or so. You don't even have to find 3 bew custimers every month. Just build your clients base. If you cgange it to 10 sales per month it cines to $2142 per month. This is without registering anyone. If you do build an organization that gets to 7500pv you will make a lot more on the same 3 or 10 sales. That is why you want to build an organization period. Again if you ever owned a traditional business the gateway fee with Mastercard/Visa is $60 per month on average plus fee/% per transaction. Family usually don't do it, but they typically will be customers. Don't talk about business unless you have business savy. I would like to know why you personally are bitter? I would like to understand your view point and if your issues are still relavent. www.amway.com/jeffreylewis Anyone is free to ask questions but before you register with some find out the difference between my organization and others. It is very important to keep operating costs down when you begin. I basically work for the new IBO where most people think it is the other way around. If you make money I make money. If I help you get to the top with three growing legs and you are generating upto $3k per month I will make $650. Is that fair? Yes. Why because at that point I can walk away from a growing organization and that $650 will keeping growing, so now I have more time to develop 9 legs to the top. 9x650=$5850 per month but this doesn't even include any additional depth bonuses, growth incentives, Q12 bonus, Ruby Bonus, Emerald Bonus, Diamond Bonus, Executive Diamond Bonus. Even just getting to 6 to the top averages to $560,000 per year. We normally don't talk about that because the average Joe just needs to work on what ever number they can believe, wether it be $7, $100, $250, $500, or $1000. The real secret of the business is getting people past their own limitations. For the same reason people don't apply for six figure jobs when a $30k job posting has the same job description. That has to deal with managing our little voice who has a huge influence on our behavior, good and bad. I speak the truth. Only the truth because if you join and I lied all you would do is complain about me and my character is worth more to me than money. Without character there is no hope for wealth. In my job and business I have been floating around $200000-$240000 per year income for last 6 years of my life and I wouldn't be involved with a hobby that is wasting my time. I truly love what Amway has done for me and my family. It has made me a better employee, better business owner, and family man. Good luck with your life, but I am in the business to bringing people along finacially if they choose too.
i was an Amway Distributor many years ago and it gave me the right Attitude towards being an Entrepreneur.....biggest problem was the leaders did not share their best lead generation strategies....but i certainly learned how to do it
Hey you have that one correct, We are no longer in Amway, i just don't like the rubbish that is being put up on youtube, totally rediculous, yes have skype, i am from Australia, We are about to re-join Melaleuca, love their products, so we need to look at the time difference, I am home every night of the week, or indeed on the weekends, so perhaps we can organise it for this weekend
This is more like an amway puff piece. I got friends who stopped living life 30 years ago and are still "three months from being emerald." Most of the diamonds I knew back then are out. Many divorced. One is driving the SAME 1987 mercedes. They condemn college, but sent their own kids to college. They said ignore the news, get new friends, and whatever you do, keep buying the weekly tapes and attend all functions! If it's not a cult, it's culty.
Google or BING this: AMWAY SETTLEMENT From the 1990s to 2010, there was a lawsuit against the AMWAY corporation, and it was finally determined that they were liable for $56 million in damages, to the people who used their own money in their Amway businesses and didn't make a profit. Then Amway changed their name to Quixstar.
@@JayHuey Nope. At a normal business more workers does not equal more money. Normal job you get paid by the hour with benefits. Pyramid scheme you do all the work, make almost nothing, get no benefits, while everyone at the top does nothing and makes tons of money off their minions. I'm a web developer and make around 100k providing a service. Everyone in the company earns their paycheck from the bottom up.
Great video I’m part of Amway and LTD and my team has been growing this only works if you put the work in and know about your products run offers with people and invest in samples that’s how I moved and being a leader
@@djmoronicand3x467 hey bro, congrats on the success. Is that 4k a month residual and permanent, or does that 4k a month fluctuate and can be less each month?
This is hilarious . I'm watching a former Amway distributer who can't afford a hat that isn't frayed beyond recognition .He must have made a fortune LOL . A pyramid scheme takes money to get in . Amway requires purchase of a kit to get in . In either case, the top people get the money paid in by the new suckers . A distinction without a difference .
This is such bull crap, really. If you want money fast as amway says you can than why not just get a REAL job and work your ass off to prove that your a good worker, get some raises and work overtime when you can get it. And if you are making good money either stay or build your own business, start off small and in a few years you can hire other ppl to work for you and then you can do what you want. It's not easy but you don't have to go thru the bullshit of selling shit to your friends that they don't need.
Ok you clearly don't know what you're talking about. First of all no one ever claims that you will make fast cash with Amway it takes time to build. And most people who sign up do a regular 9 to 5 job and work Amway on the side. And here's another thing even if you're a good worker and you dedicate your whole life to a company you're still just as likely to get fired, you're not really in control of your income when you work like that, your boss is. And even if you do make tons of cash working for someone else you'll never be given enough time to really enjoy it. And what happens when you get sick or grow old and can't work anymore, the money that you got from your so called REAL job is gone. But with Amway if you build your network, find the right team of enthusiastic and qualified individuals the work you put in will keep paying out forever.
ryan druist tell us how much money you've made? That's right your working hard now and in just a couple of months the success is gonna start pouring in but your not there yet
Don't forget! In 2-5 years you will make enough to retire! And if you haven't by then, then it means you weren't working hard enough and should keep trying (and making the big-wigs fortunes in the mean time)
There are over 5 thousand Emeralds in Amway, and over 3 thousand Diamonds which means Independently wealthy, that is 8 thousand people that became rich, thanx to this opportunity. It is not easy of course, good things are hard to achieve.

The comparison to a corporate workplace is just ignorant. The higher up in management you are, the more complex your work becomes and more responsibility you take, therefore your remuneration is better. How does an Amway "sponsor" contribute to a seller's success?
until you get to the top levels. lets face it no CEO or high level manager deserves 8+ figure salaries. The great thing is when they do that then cut all the employees on the bottom so they can maintain their profit margins to make the stock holders happy instead of taking a few million dollar pay cut for their bad decisions that made the profit margins fall to begin with.
High level managers are often on short contracts based on their performance. If the board (or whoever the owner is) doesn't like what they are doing (such as mass redundancy), there is usually a termination clause in their contracts which gives the board the right to sack them. Lower level employees enjoy a more stable employment condition.
George Georgio You mean, the higher up you are, the less free time you have, the more work you have, and you just pretty much work. People who call that 'responsibility' have no idea what responsibility is. I call that LOSING your time. Also, not sure what your question about Amway is, because sponsors are generally the seller themselves, so they influence their own success.
I almost went to a "first meeting" with an Amway person. But didn't. A girl I knew before Covid found me again, we ran into each other at a church. And she began to tell me a little about the process, claiming that she "is set to retire in five years." I got her number, and a few weeks later she was answering my phone call, and she was saying some cagey things. She told (or implied) that the business was an "information age asset" and she was explaining that I had to schedule a meeting with someone from the company. The first strange thing about this meeting was that it had to be at _this specific Starbucks_ in a town across the county line. I don't have a car, I ride public transit to get around. I tried asking for a meetup spot in my county, and she didn't really come to provide any other places. So we scheduled the meeting and she texted later to clarify that she would be meeting up with me to introduce me to the guy from the company. So I immediately said "OK, how bout you pick me up at the train station?" And INSTANTLY she said "Oh I'm so sorry! I won't make it in time because I'm running straight from work and helping my mother!" So I ended up not going, and invented an excuse of my own :) She texted me later trying to lie and make something up to make her story make sense, and I immediately wrote a paragraph back explaining that she was being dishonest with me. She didn't reply. Cat got her tongue now that she knows she can't smarm me up anymore
Yikes, I literally just got done not to long ago with a little meeting up at Starbucks with one of them too, and after a certain reaction from a family member I got a bit skeptical about it. I should probably decline the offer of becoming a member right?
I have a young female relative who does not even like me who unfriended me on facebook then 4 mths later she friended me and private messaged me a really big private message telling me " i have just invested in a business and am the owner of my own Amway store, she sent me a link to her " store" i knew i was not gonna buy anything but looked at it anyway,i saw i could buy lip gloss for$23.00 haha ha which included $12.00 shipping and handling! If it really affects your finances that bad... you shouldnt be looking to start any type of business regardless of how you define a business. For me personally, I don’t see the products I buy from Walmart getting cheaper anytime I get people to go to Walmart. Imagine getting your groceries payed for just because you got someone to go to Walmart. That’s basically what I have done and more. My return has outweighed what I put in, I didnt force my family and friends on it, although some were interested and and lost interest. There are multiple ways to leverage it. The one thing I will give advice towards is if your upline tells you not to focus time on other things such as other investments. That is on you. The mindset is, to have mental clarity on the task at hand but. Just remember to think for yourself, its guidance, they don’t control you but will help you any way possible.
Dude thought u were gonna tell the 3 stepsNow u just want email so u can junk our asses and sell some stuff huh. This model of internet marketing aka email building list is annoying as fuck
My mom used to be a member of Amway in Haiti in the 90s. My mom used to sell their products very well as a business woman. I’m the one that used to go to their meeting all the time for mom. Good company until they leave Haiti.
Here are some cool facts Amway sales in 2021 are 8.9 billion, They partner with some of the best beauty products & health products in the world... I wouldn't think that those companies would partner with a dodgy business... Just speaking 💯 facts
Thanks for posting this. I'm a case worker at a halfway house and a resident has an opportunity with them. Wanted to send him something that would give him an objective look into it rather than my opinion based on what others have heard. I believe this will be helpful for him. Thanks again.
Look into other MLM (Multi Level Marketing aka a Pyramid) companies and even look more into them into TH-cam and you'll get a better understanding of what they are. Do not make big decisions based on this videos.
I join this company about a month ago,and I love it so far. You can make money even off of yourself by using their products. For the first month I actually made more that my sponsor.
I joined yesterday and I feel so helpless, like what do i need to do to make money, what did u start w making money, u said u made more than your sponsor, how?? I paid 166$ to get in and other fee of 13$, it was prorated and another of 7$ also prorated. Joy
corey murdock You are not making money off yourself due to the fact that you are suffering a net loss. You only make a profit when you have large legs and multiple people under you. If you spend 300 dollars and get back 90 dollars, that is not a profit but a net loss of 210 dollars. Also Amway has joined other businesses in support of TPP (Trans Pacific-Partnership) bill. Please read up on it and what it means for U.S. citizens and other countries and their citizens as well. Also how it drastically benefits big business and potentially harms the environment as a result. And look up the companies who support it. Not saying leave Amway because of this but as an IBO and a share holder of Amway (IBOs are technically shareholders since Amway's stocks are private due to IBOs having power of distribution) you should have a say so in what you all invest in. Unless you approve of the TPP bill.
A question for you Larry, when you shop at Walmart do you purchase great products or cheap products made in China? Do you get a check mailed to you from Walmart for shopping at their store?
On another note. If you become a distributor of different brands, you'll understand that all suppliers have incentive programs. Do those savings/profit trickle down to the Finish line employee that actually sold the shoe, the Nordstrom manger in training, etc? Where are their extras while they climb the latter? They receive their rewards when they produce the work required. I don't see anyone complaining about that. Taking someone under your wing and teaching them how to stand financially on their own is a lost art. Receiving a bonus for duplicating more businesses to reach more customers is not a scam. Paying 1.4mil for a one hour dinner/lunch with a billionaire is a scam lol!
_"...Receiving a bonus for duplicating more businesses to reach more customers is not a scam..."_ They are very few customers outside of the IBOs' themselves, being am IBO is all about the recruiting, it has nothing to do with sales to non-IBOs'. Trying to compare amway to a tradition sales job is futile, they share very little in common.
Ntro T That's your opinion. I have customers as well as my IBOs. If "you fail" to reach customers, how is that anyone else's fault? I market to athletes, church members, family members, skincare junkies, etc. What you do with your business is up to you! Of course it's not exactly like a traditional job. You go to work to do one task, surf the web all day, and complain until Friday. You don't have to use one creative bone in your body to reach customers. When you have to use those skills some of you can't take flight. If you get a bonus for doing the minimum then it's the company that's being scammed not you.
Armywife80s Actually it's not opinion, when the UK investigated Amway in 2008 it was revealed that the non-IBO customer base was less than 6%, why would it be different anywhere else in the world? _"..What you do with your business is up to you!..."_ Hardly, you are totally regulated by Amway. 74 pages of regulation no less. Go start an eBay site selling your product or even better, create your own eCommerce site with a merchant gateway selling your products direct & see how long it takes your "boss" (i.e. Amway) to de-register you. You are a salesman for Amway.
Ntro T LOL, you clearly don't even understand what Amway is.. The reason IBOs switch to buying their own product is because they're suppose to.. Not only do they save money but they also generate profit. The only way they succeed is by helping the IBOs they sponsor into the business to be successful as well. Anyone who doesn't see that Amway is an amazing opportunity obviously lacks any common sense and deserves to be poor lol.
Ive grown in many ways since I've started Amway, and I wish all my family would join.. And like any process people will always judge whether its bad or good.
Amway is AWESOME. You just need to be open minded. Two type of people. You keep learning or you stop learning. When you stop learning, you stop understanding and listening. Even if I prove you wrong you still won't understand because you don't listen.
LOL! You do your A-List just to see what can happen, Then you work on B and C. The business is a legit business, not a scam. If it were a scam would big companies like APPLE BEST BUY THE HOME DEPOT DELL and a slew of other companies partner with Amway if it wasnt legit. Anybody can make money through Amway the thing is you have to work hard and not give up, it takes time. Like you said the average person will give up and get discouraged, that's why Amway is not for the Average person. Amway is also regulated by the FTC and has an A+ rating with the BBB. You need to be properly educated, and clearly the people that say it's a scam or anything like that just isn't educated and are ignorant.
The reason it is a scam is because the figures do not stack up and it appears to me that the distributors are not told the real facts. Putting aside the fact that Amway sells poor quality products at a high price, the 'business owner' is responsible for her or his costs. I could go to the shop and buy shampoo for one third the price charged by Amway or I could order it from Amway. The business owner then has to drive to the other side of town in order to make one euro profit, spending two euros on fuel and a couple of hours in the car in the process. It is absurd as a business proposition.
forgot Bank Of America is a partner with Amway.. amway is a legit business.but if it works for you is on you.. no one said running a business is easy.. and usually the people who talk bad about amway is the people that could not get over that hill at first to get something going... it happens not everyone can do it. im struggling right now.. will it work for me? it can... when? when god lets it happen.. have faith in god.. god will provide you the answers to all.. and if it doesnt work for me then it doesnt work for me. .
Matt King Unfortunately there is no proof that either a god exists nor is there that people make money with Amway. For the moment I will leave celestial nonentities out of this as they defy the laws of physics and come back to the laws of mathematics which show why Amway does not work except for those that started this scam off in the first place. Do the maths. See their turnover and how many people are in it. Why not try doing your own small business which is honest.

To be an entrepreneur go out in an attempt to fail 100 times. So Amway or various others could be one's to check off your list. It doesn't matter, your goal is to just check off 100 failures. Along the way you'll find something that works. I'm paraphrasing Sylvester Stallone
If your lazy don’t join if you aren’t willing to put in your free time to recruit don’t do it! My parents started around 2 months ago and they definitely have not lost money I’ll tell you that! Amway is good if your willing to put in your free time to grow and expand!
If you're willing to work for free, MLMs are the way to go. In MLMs, once you "expand", one of your key members will quit and convince others to do the same. Then you have to start all over again.
I stand by this guy 100% he understands corporate america being a true pyramid. Well said man regarding leads and generating sales (any business needs this). Amway is the #1 Direct Sales company in the world. The facts are on paper. Other companies have tried to mirror Amway but they don't put people before profit.
Rasnin - The difference between a company like Apple and a pyramid is that the average salary at Apple is about $100K per year. The average salary in most MLMs is less than $3K per year.
Corporate business leadership trees are, for the most part, non-commissioned. They are paid salary employees. Amway employees are commissioned based, so therefore, it's a Pyramid Scheme. The top level makes money from the lower levels and so on.... Amway is a Pyramid Scheme Period. Must buy from and sell for Amway. Not me. I buy from whoever I want and whenever I want.
i just started working for amway and so im at the bottom atm...so far ive earned about $2,000 in just the first month...nobody earned anything from what i sold but myself and the people i bought the product from at the whole sale price! definitely doesnt look like a pyramid to me!

This seems like legit info. Ik someone who is a IBO. Ik if I sent this to them he'd talk smack and continue trying to build his business the old fashion way.
People in Amway know that this is not true because if the people who have new partners knew about a better way to grow, they would teach their new recruits how, because they want them to have success because in turn they’ll have success too

I agree why did he quit
@Barney Weiss how did you do ?
What are the tools that are sold?
@@karlhouseknecht this is so sleek and underhanded.
Same 😂 while I'm shopping

you are right about that, its weird when someone aproaches you at a store for example.

Distributors do not make money, the business sellers are making the money. A way finds attractive energetic very likable people to sell they are the ones the move up the levels

There's much greater spirit in Amway though :)
The only way with amway is NO WAY!
This guy does not know amway!
And you need to learn that Amway is in support of the TPP (Trans Pacific-Partnership) as well, Read everything on it and look up businesses in support of it ( and it is not on an Anti-Amway site)
You will see why you owners need to voice your opinion and change Amway's decision.
Owning a stock is different than owning your own business but I guess in this case it is similar.
iceeirony Right in terms of Amway it is very similar.

Amway is about building your own business. Amway has been around a long time and if they weren't legit they would have gone out of business a long time ago. You really can make more money than your upline. It just depends on how much time you want to put into building your own business. In a pyramid scheme your upline will always make more than you.
I never said he made money being in multilevel marketing. & lol, 99.9% of people? That just tells me you don't even know what you're talking about.
iceeirony That figure was generous; once you factor in expenses(this includes paying more for basic products than you would pay at 7-11) at least 99.9% of people lose money.

That's not true. The detergent is great and it is concentrated so you can wash 3ml one load. Amway has a 180 satisfaction guarantee.

i I did Amway for a time, nice people, good business i saw nothing wrong with it, didnt work for me only because it was alot more work then i had planned, and i was working full time besides, still a positive experience!!!!
manickreations that's what makes it a scam, they say you can make some extra money with a little side business but in reality you make no money and you end up quitting because you realize hmmm I could be putting all this effort into an actual education, maybe get a liscence, maybe get certified in something, maybe start my own business because if I'm going to be putting in all this effort to sell something maybe it should be something that I actually started so I'm not slaving away to make someone else money
fook me That isn't a scam to say some extra money for a little side business.
I would like to understand your view point and if your issues are still relavent.
www.amway.com/jeffreylewis
Anyone is free to ask questions but before you register with some find out the difference between my organization and others.

Google or BING this: AMWAY SETTLEMENT
From the 1990s to 2010, there was a lawsuit against the AMWAY corporation, and it was finally determined that they were liable for $56 million in damages, to the people who used their own money in their Amway businesses and didn't make a profit. Then Amway changed their name to Quixstar.

Just remember to think for yourself, its guidance, they don’t control you but will help you any way possible.

corey murdock You are not making money off yourself due to the fact that you are suffering a net loss.
Do you get a check mailed to you from Walmart for shopping at their store?
how do i stop the notifications
_"...Receiving a bonus for duplicating more businesses to reach more customers is not a scam..."_
They are very few customers outside of the IBOs' themselves, being am IBO is all about the recruiting, it has nothing to do with sales to non-IBOs'.
Armywife80s
Actually it's not opinion, when the UK investigated Amway in 2008 it was revealed that the non-IBO customer base was less than 6%, why would it be different anywhere else in the world?

Hardly, you are totally regulated by Amway.
Actually 1.5x makes it interesting

It is absurd as a business proposition.
forgot Bank Of America is a partner with Amway.. amway is a legit business.but if it works for you is on you.. no one said running a business is easy.. and usually the people who talk bad about amway is the people that could not get over that hill at first to get something going... it happens not everyone can do it. im struggling right now.. will it work for me? it can... when? when god lets it happen.. have faith in god.. god will provide you the answers to all.. and if it doesnt work for me then it doesnt work for me. .
