- If your a grazer, you probably know how cumbersome it is to cross poly wire everyday with your atv. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to drive right over the poly wire without stopping? Learn how to make a simple poly dropper for your grazing rig to do just that!

Very nice. I am in my second week of rotational grazing and it's going great so far. My cows have totally changed their mannerisms since we began. I only wished I lived on the farm so I could move them more often. I'm currently moving them twice each week. I have a friend that will move them mid week and I move them on the weekend and set up the fencing for the next week. It's been fun so far and I look forward to the benefits that will follow. Luckily, I am only an 1/8 mile from the land we lease but there are still time I wish I lived closer or even on the land. There are days it seems all I get down it driving back and forth, like now that we are in the middle of calving. I like that you've got a person willing to help, that has to take a lot of pressure off your shoulders. Probably wouldn't be hard to repay them in beef down the road and not have to take from your pocket.
It takes time to see big changes in the pasture but it does happen. I started 6 years ago and I am just not seeing lots of red clover. Small changes can happen pretty quick though. Like trampling weeds then after the rest period you may see grass in the same place. It fun and exciting to watch it all take place. Best of luck with your cattle and pastures. Thanks for watchin'!

Great system we move our dairy cows twice a day so I know how time consuming fencing is. Anything to speed up the process is always good
When I first went to the farm after building this and gave it a try, I was like a kid in the candy store, I just kept crossing over it. I drove over it so many times, I think I heard a cow say " What the hell is he doing"? lol They had surely stopped grazing to watch me.

It's truly an amazing upgrade to any vehicle that manages livestock with poly wire in the pastures.

Grazing Acres Farm I use a club car XRT 950, a side by side. Currently waiting to put a new drive clutch on, but the poly dropper will be a near future project.

I can't even describe how good it feels to not have to grab the poly wire to cross it anymore. Just drive and cross. Now if I could figure out away to cross gates. lol

@@GrazingAcresFarm slatted bars that you can drive over but cows can't walk over it because of the slats. It's hard to explain without a picture to show you
