This is awesome.. I need this machine for my concrete projects. I think this DIY vibrating table the best cheap solution rather than buy vibrator motor. Thank you so much peChoO.. big thanks for you.

    Othewise great job

Amazing table, one point, concrete actually strengthens when wet, so placing in sunlight so early on actually weakens the concrete. But as they are only paving slabs it's not an issue. But if you're getting breakages then consider leaving the blocks in water over night once removed from the mold

I make concrete planters, and once the concrete is hard, it is recommended to submerge the concrete parts in water for at least 12hrs. I usually leave them 24 hours and my planters become extremely tough

  • @kejsins86

use 3-4mm gravel, and a concrete additive. Best results. Also you can put colours for concrete if you want. If you made concrete with one shovel of cement and two shovels of gravel, after they dried, put them in water for 24 hours, to prevent cracking. Water make them harder, then you cant crash them even with hammer :-) try that, and you can also make video about that

    • @gbkatriel

Hi, do you know how is the composition to make 5000psi concrete? And what additives would you recommend.

    • @kejsins86
      @kejsins86 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@gbkatriel i am using 1:2:2, if are stone and sand separated. If they are already mixed then 1:2. Any chemical or mineral additive is welcome, bur you must decide for what purpose you are using concrete then choose between this two. And it s important to water that concrete when its dried to prevent cracking.

Hey, Awesome Build - A couple of questions:
    1) A Year later, is there anything that you would differently?
    2) I noticed that one side of the Springs is Bolted and so Removable but the other side is Welded. Any reason not to make both sides bolted?
    3) Would it be helpful to make the Screw that causes the Eccentric motion adjustable to create more or less vibration depending on the amount of Concrete being shaken?
    4) Would Rubber mats under the feet help any?
    Thanks, and again - Awesome

hi there love the work you do. one advice for concrete you can also add fiber to it and it will make concrete much tougher. for example on 9:3 ratio (gravel 9 shovels and 3 shovel cement) you need full hand of fiber. and its used on small concrete surface like you did in the video on bigger surface like concrete pat, wall or foundation its used rebar. enjoy and keep up good work

Good work but try to make your mix less watery; i.e thicker but workable. I find 30% water to cement ratio (300mL water to 1Kg Cement) super workable with plasticizer (1-1.5% to cement by weight).

I like this. I think I will make one based on your design.
I did notice though that your wiring is dangerous. You put a cable tie around the inner insulation and pulled it tight against the metal frame.
With all of the vibration going on you will wear through the insulation and cause a fault.
I would recommend putting that connection into a plastic box and use proper glands to clamp around the OUTER insulation.
I would also fit an earth bolt to the frame itself and from there take an earth to the motor.
    Nice job!

@@janikkralik it would be more helpful if you suggested an alternative approach.
In the UK for house wiring we would use a junction box for such things (at least a diy'r would)
But the only additional protection they provide is a plastic cover. But the wires could still be pulled out if the grub screws aren't tight enough or you pull super hard.
The chocolate block is hardly super exposed so not sure what were supposed to do differently?

    • @richardschofield2201
      @richardschofield2201 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@janikkralik or as you mention if the wires are damaged, well this can always happen surely.
That's why we have a fused plug (in the UK) an earth wire on the chassis and RCD protection at the consumer unit.
If your mixing metal frames and wires not sure what else you could do about it.
I guess you could sleeve all your wires in an abrasive wrap but seems a bit over the top.

i want to make a vibratory plate for my feet, also shaking at certain frequencies helps built muscle mass and bone density as well as helps with recuperation.
years and years ago, crappy footwear for construction, hours and hours on the feet all day long, we had to take the plate packer over grass, we put plywood down to walk over the grass, we started it on the road and it walked itself over the boards instead of dragging it.
now i stepped onto the plywood sheet underfeet with this plate packer going on max settings full throttle and WOW my feet were in heaven! id do this for a couple mins everyday, get a plywood sheet, get the packer on it, full throttle and hold it back while standing on the plywood.
how did my feet feel? well the blood definitely started to flow again. the massage was awesome to say the least, when your done your feet feel fatter and fuller, larger than the boots your wearing if that makes sense. even your calves get a work out.
so i bought a 1/3 hp AC motor im going to mount on a board with an offest weight. see how it works out. here looking for ideas!
