I have a newer gimp, I'm used to the old school way and couldnt resize my brushes for anything. Thank you for this video, immensely helpful.
Good tip, sadly not the info what I tried to find. My problem being that when selecting, for example, different brush styles, the pictures of the brush styles are so tiny I cant see how they look until I actually use them. Going through 30 and testing each one is time consuming. Increasing the font size with theme or icon size to huge in icon theme did not make these parts any larger.
didnt work. tried multiple times. for some reason just didn't work for me. i hope for some else it worked. ill try find another video.

If someone knows how to adjust the increase or decrease in the brush size with scroll-up and scroll-down, for example: 1.10, 1.20, 1.30, 1.40, etc., I will pay you 1 million dollars xd, I WORK WITH PIXEL ART :(
