Looks like you did the trail in what I think of as the reverse direction, South to North. Was this the Sunday after the storm? My brother and I did it, in my Bronco Sport Badlands, with a couple of our Subaru friends, all of us, with lifts, on Saturday, during the storm. It's a fun trail.
Yes, we went the other direction last time we did the trail. I don't recall a big storm but there could've been one! It is a very fun trail and nice that there is a trail that everyone can do!
There isn't an exact address. We found it by looking up Enchanted Creek, Virginia and it pretty much gets you there. But here are directions to follow if you need more! And have onX is awesome! To find this trail from Buena Vista you take Route 607 (Robinson Gap Road) which is a winding backroad that does change to gravel. You will eventually cross underneath the Blue Ridge Parkway which is how you know you are within approximately 2 miles from the trailhead. There will be a gate and creek crossing at the start and it is located on the right side of the road.
The trail sign said August until early January when we went on our first trip but the sign was gone on this trip that was recent. I'll look into it more and let you know if I find out anything!
@GunpowderGladiator thank you Really appreciate that. I don't do Jeeps I'm a ZR2 guy but if yall ever want a trail partner let me know. I'm in Virginia
@@uh60ce1 we enjoy trail riding with everyone! We are in Virginia too, but we are open to going all over. Always looking for new trails and new adventures!
This was an awesome day I am glad I met y'all and got the offer to ride until I met up with the group I was supposed to be riding with. I'm sure I'll see y'all out there somewhere and we can do a full ride thanks again. Rich
