Revisiting Skate in 2024

- The Xbox 360 store has shut down, and with that a lot of games are now gone with it. While Skate wasn't on the chopping block, it is one that I've wanted to check out for quite some time again.
Being able to line this up with a grand opening of a brand new local city skatepark was really cool, and having the chance to get out there and reignite a passion is something I am very grateful for!
I can't wait to show you all the games I grabbed before the store shut down, and explore them all with you. See you in the next one!
I'm sad I missed the boat when Skate came out. Looking forward to Skate 4. I'm ready for a skateboarding revival
are there things from the first 3 games that you hope to see in the new game?

Like you said either your friends would play it or they hated it, we gave been down so bad for a good skateboarding game, we've been begging for the sequel

I used to skate during my teens so when this came out it blew all our minds! It was the closest a game came to capturing the feel of the real thing. Though, I was just as good at the game as I was in real life (not very).😂 I'm hoping the upcoming Skate 4 will capture the same feel.
Same! I'm stoked for a new one to come along, but I just hope it still has the right feel for it!

I mostly just longboard now, but I miss the days where I could drop in and not worry about faceplanting on the ground 😂

Skate 1 was the most realistoc of the series. Skate 3 was the most arcade. Skate 2 was the best IMO
I haven't had a chance to play 2 or 3 yet but the first one has fully sent me back into skating again. That skate park in the vid has been so much fun!
