@ I meant it probably wasn’t made out of wood, sorry. I think it was made out of some kind of hardened clay or rock. I’m not sure with the scarce and rudimentary tools they had back then that they would have made the types of mangers that we associate with Jesus, especially when it’s purpose is to be an animal feeding trough.
I really like the look of the BJU Press Reading 2B. Is this something you would read aloud to your child and then discuss the questions/talking points?
I really want the at bat reading program I think it will be perfect for my son. Can't seem to get it in the uk. And to get on from a different country is silly money. They don't seem to do download printable. We've started the reading pathways and Mrs Wordsmith we love
For BJU Press reading, do you have the student workbook or what do you have? I want to use BJU Press for reading but I don't want to buy all the books if not necessary. (Like I'm sure the teachers guide isnt necessary) We use BJU Press english-writing and grammar & love that
I adore that Three Trees book. Technically, the historic manger probably wasn’t made out of hay. But ya know. The message is good.
Color me curious: what do you think it was made out of?

Yep, exactly. If my child read to me it I would never get through it. 2A is even better.

When I was living in Canada I didn’t want it either. Sight word picture flash cards from anywhere works just as good :)

I have no BJU press workbooks. Reading 2A has some questions and that’s all we use. I bought it off of eBay with 2B for pretty cheap.
