I got a Series Two bootleg recently. It did actually have all the episodes, so that was nice! Congratulations, though, that's a fun bootleg!
Hey Alex! I've been trying to reach you since you blocked me from your channel. I just wanted you to know that I'm very sorry for spamming the chat on your live stream all those years ago. Back then I was new to TH-cam, I was being stupid and I was ruining a good live stream. Since then, I have changed. I would never do anything like that anymore. I'm sorry.
Bit of a gap between 1:25 for around 10 seconds

Thanks for the information. I thought my connection was lost
I remember I recorded each episode on a tape (for some reason I used a different tape for each episode) and I used some empty cases of VHSs and then my brother made some custom covers in the style of the Doctor Who VHSs we had. I still have those tapes somewhere. Probably in a box full of junk in my parents attic. So I owned my own bootlegs. I think I tired to sell them to my friends but that didn’t want them as they had the DVDs. I think my intention all along was to sell them but that went nowhere.
VHS???? Used my DVD recorder to record it!
Really enjoyed this video would love to see more bootleg Doctor Who DVDs 😁
I remember at the time (2005) I used to see cover like this that people had designed to fit with classic series DVDs posted onto the Outpost Gallifrey forum.
Dr. Who came back in 2005? I didn't even know!
VHS? They had home DVD recorders then.
I must admit I clicked on this video expecting you to review the leaked Rose copy that had the stand-in theme music. My dad was quite technologically ahead so we had a DVD recorder with a hard drive downstairs and I had been gifted a DVD recorder for my own room for Christmas just before the show returned. However, not being familiar with it, I only recorded a handful of episodes: World War Three, The Empty Child and Boom Town, as well as The Christmas Invasion on their original broadcast. I didn't start recording every episode comprehensively until New Earth and I continued then until The End of Time Part Two, so for quite a few years I only had my original broadcast DVDs to watch repeats of for many years until I started buying the boxsets years later. I got Series 1 for my birthday in 2007, then the Series 4 Specials in 2010 and then I started picking up the other sets gradually if I found them discounted in supermarkets and used my pocket money to buy them. Money well spent.
In the States, bootleg was the only way to see new Doctor Who for about two years. A few people used to release DVD folders on usenet only a few hours after the episodes aired. Sometimes the presentations were quite good! Most of mine have menus, the episode, the making-of Confidential, and sometimes other short promos or Who-focused bits from other BBC programmes. IIRC they offered disc and box art also, but I was too utilitarian for those and opted for the sharpie.
I had never heard of these stream captures being sold commercially, but I suspect that they were at times. I am happy that I don't need these discs to enjoy the early series anymore, but I am happy to have a nice archive of rare Who extras on them to rediscover at times.
Violence : Explosions i just found that amusing.
TAT FROM THE TARDIIIIIIISSSSSSSS 🥳🥳🥳🙏🙏🙏
Please tell me there's more bootleg dvds like this
