  • With the uncertainty surrounding the start of the WHL this season, Connor Bedard headed to Sweden to train with Sweden's HV71 program. Bedard ended up seeing game action with both the J18 and J20 teams where he played 5 games scoring three times and adding 3 assists. Bedard is now back in Canada preparing for the hopeful start of the WHL season in early 2021.

    For the people that say he doesn't pass, watching this okay, it's true this is what you can take away from this, but at the same time it's not a Conner Bedard passing compilation, like it's a video showcasing his skills and what he could do playing against older competition. I'm 100% sure he passes a bunch during the game that we don't see in these videos. Like, let's be honest here, we'd rather see him deke the shit out of someone than see him make a 5 foot pass.

      the competition he played with before destroyed all your american prep programs like la junior kings etc. Watched him live last year. Grade nine dominating grade 12 players at the highest level. yeah... overrated next level... also my friends played in the show and one guy became an all star soo please stop with your nonsense.

      I don’t think he is criticizing his talent so much as pointing out a part of his game that he could work on. Commenters will get upset when someone provides constructive criticism, but ironically the elites hear it every day and use it to develop and continuously get better. I agree with Steph. There were several plays where his team would have benefitted from the pass.

    • @rsandersr47
      @rsandersr47 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@WeddingfilmsinfraserValley I mostly agree with you but what we're viewing is a very small sample size. It's possible that he has sent them dozens of passes in these situations so that he's betting on the tendy biting on a pass or his teammates didn't take great shots in the past and he is more confident in his shot. We would have to view full games before we could really make an assessment. Either way it is something to note if we would have nothing else to go by.

    From what ive heard from Buddies, whose kids have played with Bedard. "Best player on the ice, shoots all the fucking time even in bad situations. Selfish player"
