    This time I'll share a family favorite recipe: Chicken Bitterballen! In general, Bitterballen uses meat in the mixture, but in this video I use chicken.
    I hope you enjoy it!
    Chicken Bitterballen
    For Filling:
    350 gr chicken breast fillet, boil and cut like small cubes, keep the boiled chicken water
    1 Onion, chopped
    1 leek
    100 gr grated carrot
    1 tbsp Salt
    1 tbsp Sugar
    1 tbsp Ground Black Pepper (or what you prefer)
    1/2 tbsp Ground Nutmeg
    Cooking Oil
    For Bechamel Sauce:
    200 gr Margarine
    300 gr All-Purpose Flour
    450 ml Fresh Milk, or you can use UHT Milk
    550 ml Water from boiling the chicken earlier
    For Coating:
    3 Eggs, beat
    All-purpose Flour
    Bread Crumb
    *I refrigerated the dough for almost 12 hours, but you can get less than that
