Thank you. Back in the day I'd have to go hunting and get chiptunes or find a crappy play through to find this song. Best song in that game, always stuck with me for some reason.

Sounds odd without your high-pitched "Air spin" move.

I just played thru Bonk's Adventure last night.
I used to own a Turbo Express with the game, so many great memories on road trips.
This game was highly underrated for what it was. Mostly because the Turbografx-16 was just up against two console giants (Nintendo's NES & Sega's Masters system).
The story was simple (albeit a little weird), but the gameplay was fun, the levels were colourful and creative, enemies were also quirky and the music was pretty great for its time. There were also a lot of secrets on the levels which were fun to discover.
Nothing like eating meat to get invincibility and then finding more meat along the way :)

Fun fact: the roles of the TurboGrafx and the Genesis were reversed in Japan: NEC was Nintendo's biggest competitor in the east while SEGA had a cult following at best. The reason things were different in the west was because SEGA of America had a pretty good ad campaign that appealed to teenagers, a campaign that they based on field studies that they did on teen culture in the west, whereas all NEC did was a bunch of comics that used the same two games to claim that they were better than "Feka".

At first it can seem puzzling that the Mega Drive wasn't more successful than that in Japan since it was the best console of its time, being better than the PC Engine in every ways (hardware, controller, connectivity...) and better than the SNES in the more relevant aspects (CPU, resolution, sprite capabilities...) but then you realize that there are many reasons behind this:
      - Sega confused the customers prior to this with already two different 8-bit consoles. People weren't necessarily prone to buy yet another Sega console...
      - memory shortage that happened during the Mega Drive debuts and thus the Mega Drive and its games were hard to find
      - Super Mario Bros 3 which was awaited by many but which was released at the same time as the Mega Drive and thus overshadowed Sega's console sales
      - and lastly the poor marketing in Japan. Prior to the Saturn, Sega marketing was very limited in Japan. In comparison Nintendo or NEC had more presence and NEC even had gaming tournaments to increase the PC Engine exposure
But in western regions the Mega Drive and its qualities were more apparent and there it was the most successful system.
Overall sales figures bring the Mega Drive and SNES equal (amont of hardwares sold which, of course, includes Mega Drive's peripherals the Mega-CD and 32X). The PC Engine was a distant third but still moderately successful worldwide, especially compared to the NEC PC-FX which was a total failure.
The Sega Master System also sold more than the PC Engine btw, but the NES sold more than both.

No, Punchy Pedro. Close but no cigar. I think Gladdis was probably harder based on her style of fighting.
