Candace Bergen stated she hasn’t eaten meat in 30 years, how wonderful and what a fantastic way to help our environment. The animal industrial complex has taken an environmental toll that is close to no other. It’s important when speaking about the effect we have on the environment, the climate specifically, that the facts concerning the raising and slaughtering of these sentient beings is discussed. Thank you all for the work you do.

They could train the military to clean-up the environment and fight pollution and train states to train others to fight against and control climate change damage. They could clean-up the water supplies, and the dumps in the oceans. They could monitor air pollution and fight wildfires when they break-out. The military would still be protecting the country. They would be more like boy scouts and they would still be warriors.

LoVe all three of you!! And Diane too! Thank you for the work you're doing. Hold that book up with pride, let viewers see it. The rise of the feminine is a major part of this global shift we're in. We're at the front of great change. We give birth, we intuitively know the connection of humanity, we are the givers of life!
Smart to stop the new clothes, textiles - the making, the slave labor, the amount dumped - how long it takes to break down - it's out of control with our having been fed an insatiabe appetite for stuff. Since I retired in 2017, I've been buying clothes at thrift stores.
Keep up the good work, you're all "Good trouble". Love and hugs! Is it possible to get a signed copy of your book, Jane, for my granddaughter? Love this show!

Being a Vietnam anti-war veteran in1970, I love and have great respect for lovely and gorgeous Jane Fonda. This is a great show and I really like beautiful Mary Steenburgen and Candice Bergen as well. You beautiful women inspire and brighten our world with your sensitive caring and thoughtful ideas. Yesterday, I read that Oregon Governor Kate Brown stated that climate change was driving the wildfires. I have been saying the same thing for many years to friends and relatives and I recently sold a house to buy a Tesla Model Y! Love you Jane, Mary, Candice and Greta.

Mary, my sister built a home on some of the last open areas on the Arkansas River about 30 years ago. I mention this because when I visited my mother when she was still alive in the 80s we often saw you with your mother at a cafeteria in Little Rock when we ate there with our mother so I assume you may still have some contact. The area in Mayflower was on a hundred year or higher flood plain and now gets major floods almost yearly. There are many flooding events along that River and it gets worse every year. The property had been developed by Sen McClelland’s daughter Mary Alice McDermott. It’s a migratory area for birds moving back and forth from the gulf. There was a lot of sand dredging in the area by the Army Corps of Engineers which once I assume slowed down tropical storms that hit the area.

Yes, Jane, we need to get the wells out of LA as well. For many years, California has tried to tax its oil drilling like Texas and Alaska. The oil companies have resisted this vigorously, convincing voters that their gas prices will rise. We've had nothing but the poison of the wells and none of the benefits. Going solar, driving electric cars, working mostly from home - all these things can create a healthier environment.

Petroleum by-products are in everything...clothes, furniture, glass, phones, glasses, cosmetics, construction materials etc. Look around you right now, wherever you are and name one thing that you see that does not have petroleum involved. I hope you can. I can't. Packaging is a very small piece of the petroleum pie. Keep going lady's. Appreciate your passion and using your voices for good.

The NYPL on 5th has a book club that focuses on classics - it’s a closed group at this time but when I read about it on their site I crashed until I was an unofficial member which meant I didn’t get a regular name tag unless I had been at the last meeting. I have toddler grands in the neighborhood so I miss some when my daughter needs some help or company. It has quite a few men but far more women. You can find their reading list on their site and it would be fun for one of you to crash when the library reopens and groups are allowed.

Recycling black plastic. Why is it that black plastic usually used when purchasing meat cannot be recycled. I want all this plastic to be gone. And all the filler in the diapers. I make mask, fabric grocery bags and fabric personal pads. My next craft will be fabric wax covers for food. I’m a quilter and I have made cement leaves and mushrooms. I also have crafted a stain glass lamp, bird houses and a few more items. I am also a cake-decorator when I have the opportunity. The daughter of Jane Fonda and Winston Churchill. Barbara Simlick. Sorry Jane for the exposure.

Love you Jane, been a long time role model to me. However, off topic, I was a bit bewildered why you were expressing remorse about missing an opportunity to engage in extramarital sex. As Christians, we should regret our past sins, not wish we had done more. I get the idea of being totally attracted to Marvin, who wouldn't be, but you should rejoice that you managed to overcome such a major temptation, rather than wish you had given in. Also, appreciated you brought up the total hypocrisy of the so-called "pro-lifers", though you got cut off on the topic to avoid controversy, which I don't agree with at all. I think reproductive freedom is just as important as promoting climate change awareness, in order to save the planet. Keep up the good work and God bless you.

Jan Swan, not true, we are not and will not run out of small fish. Think weeds, we just don’t run out. You might be speaking about farmed fish, which is a huge problem. Wild caught is a totally different issue in terms of sustainability as long as proper methods are used. Always be careful about facts as they have a way of biting us in the ass.

Stop buying water in plastic water bottles. You ladies have seen and drank from the cases and cases, per day, on a movie set. The entertainment industry uses costco bought water bottles at every set. You ladies could start the change to reverse osmosis filter system and bring your own cup. Start at home, move on to work and then community and finally the world.

Yesterday I was watching Grace & Frankie and I lost hope in you (Jane) and your fire drills and this is why.
Animal agriculture is number one enemy of the environment and the planetary disease (one of the major ones) the symptom of which is climate crisis and emergency.
In almost every episode all of you are paid to promote animal agriculture and are paid to sell their products to you fans as if the climate crisis did not exist.
Especially the main character like Your character Jane Fonda; Grace is proud to cook roasts, Frankie is happy because of eggs and dairy, Grace’s ex husband loves his bacon and proud to say it and making jokes about how he’ll never stop. How much he loves his string cheese and ice cream despite a heart attack and so on.
How responsible is this and how is it not confusing you. It is definitely confusing to me. Who do we take seriously? Is it schizophrenia plaguing everyone or greed or weakness or immaturity, or hypocrisy or selfishness or, or, or ...
Whatever it is, it is doing no one no good these fire drills if our diet unnecessarily depends on the destruction of the environment and further destabilization of the climate. Not to mention a cold heart that is at peace with violence against the most innocent and defenseless. We mercilessly kill baby animals to eat their corpses with appetite, why do we deserve mercy?
I know big-ag is rich and in control and the entertainment industry depends on product placement for revenue (money) but when are we gonna transform our value system and walk our talk?
