I really like Guidance! I tested a sample at first and ordered (after a week) a full bottle for 260 euros. It is such a nice spring summer perfume when you don"t want a sweet gourmand, but need a longerlasting summer scent. At the moment when it is still cold outside, I layer it with mon guerlain, to add some sweetness. I think they are good together.. By the way Gabby, your outfit is beautiful today!

I love Desert Suave and am enjoying everything from that house, bloody wood and Blanche bete too. I got a decant of YSL Baby cat and I feel like peppery notes are having a moment, but I personally don’t like peppery, powdery fragrances, and peppery vanilla it’s not for me. Good video as always!

Got a sample of Guidance today….and I agree, it’s a pretty scent (classy) but complex to fall in love with.
I am so glad I got Babycat at the end of last year. I got the 125 ml and paid €188 for it. The price has now gone up to €297 at the Dutch equivalent of Selfridges. That photograph you use for musk always makes me laugh.

I've paid 290 for 125 ml and actually I regret I've not bought 2 bottle since the online Dutch store doesn't sent anymore in Germany.
Everything you said about Guidance I agree with. So glad I purchased a sample & wore it for two days & decided that I can appreciate the work that went into creating it … it’s beautiful but not for me.
I thought that Amouge wanted to create something to complete with Delina...the pink bottle, the rose, the fruit
I had Rosendo #5 sample 6 months ago and it was 💯 no for me , two months ago I ordered Babycat sample and love it a 1st sniff . I think the ressemblance is the opening ( burning rubber) and you can smell just a little little bit on bbcat. I can’t say 10% similar. I ordered mine from Europe via my niece who lives in Italie. I’m lenjoying it and it’s a conversation starter. Love the video ❤
I also experienced the same challenge with Babycat. After months elapsed, I rediscovered just a second before gifting it... I perceived the gorgeous dry down and the pepper had subsided enormously. Now it is a ❤️!
I like the dry down of guidance but it has a very spicy, peppery smell on my skin that is strong in the beginning and still detectable throughout. It is definitely a smell that I can appreciate,but I don’t think I want to smell like it , nor can I think of where to wear it.
Why doesn't YSL produce more Babytcat? The price is through the roof, because it's impossible to buy it. Come on YSL, please bring it to Australia. Thankyou Gabby for great review.🌺💕
I have a sample, have tested several times and I am now about 80% certain I would like a bottle but maybe a partial. The potency is amazing (coming from someone with dry skin!).

I have to try Babycat!! I was going to buy it and kept hearing that it smelled like cat pee…which turned me obviously completely off 😂! I need to get a sample and try it for myself finally!! Tabac Rose is another one I have to try because I love BDK…and it’s the only one I haven’t tried by them yet somehow, but it’s definitely one that should be right up my alley

When smelled Babycat for the first time I immediately thought of Rosendo Mateu. I hate them both. They smell like bug spray to me.
I got a sample from RM 5 and Babycat. They have a similar vibe, BUT RM 5 smells like burned rubber to me and it's like "in your face". Babycat instead has a smoother vanille. Totally unisex, and sexy :)

I couldn't deal with Guidance or Tabac Rose. The latter because of the lemon peel which was so jarring to me and my husband hated it..

Rosendo #5 reminds me a lot to the new Black Opium at the dry down but with added suede
I have same experience when I smell guidance and also lineages… the smell i can’t figure out, so wierd. anyway I have 10 perfume from amouage, but the new release I just can’t stand out. Maybe I need to revisit and sampling again…
I have Of the Immortals and it reminds me a lot to By the Fireplace, but mainly because both have this type of wood that on my skin it smells veeeery screechy, I am letting the perfume macerate BUT if it stills smells the same after some time, I will be very sad but I’ll let it go. :(.

Babycat smells to me like peppery sinnamon bakery 😊 more something for christmas
Of The Immortals smells wonderful but the performance is bad. In my opinion. I’ve let it macerate for a few months as well. For 160$, I expected better. I still enjoy it but after experiencing the 6 hour wear time I couldn’t justify buying more. Like 2nd Soul. Another Zaharoff ZedCreator fragrance. I got a sample of it and I LOVED the scent but again the performance is maybe 4-6 hours. 😢
Can I give you a fragrance recommendation not saying you have to buy it, but if the notes interest you as much as it did me I would love to see a review on it ❤

Hello Gabby, did you try Arabesque from The Merchant of Venice? Very very similar to Babycat, unfortunately is more expensive than Babycat.

I've got a sample of Desert Suave, and I really like it, but I'm trying to find the right fragrance with dates for me. I'm kind of obsessing on date fragrances at the moment, but might wait till next fall to get something. How would you compare it to Dates Delight and Rouge Sarây? I have not tried Dates Delight yet, but I got a sample a while ago of Rouge Sarây, and I absolutely loved it. I probably need to get another sample of it, but didn't know if you had thoughts on those?
Dates Delight is gorgeous! I am so glad I got it! Also try Jardins de Misfah but test it first because there is a strange fresh note. I think Dates Delight is pretty close to blind buy safe...

I hate to be so blunt but Guidance was the worst fragrance I've smelled in years. I literally hated it, it made me ill, it was that bad IMO

I didn't like it either! I put just a dab on my hand to test and it got stuck in my brand new jacket.. It's mixed up and all over the place and a bit weird, so I'm gonna pass.
Guidance smells like a marinade. I dit want to smell like I spray my marinade meat 🥩. Hell nooooo
really? I wore it to work and I got so many unsolicited compliments from people who dont even like fragrance (men and women) Limit your sprays for sure bc its beast, but its beautiful. happy to own it such a beautiful unique fragrance .

I didn’t like guidance or delina. Delina is maybe one of the most gross perfumes I’ve smelled as I couldn’t stand the sour note in the sweetness. Guidance smells like a sweet safffon cake and later like mature female body sweat. I don’t like to smell like a cake or as my body smelled worse than it does naturally
