As someone who is 5'10, I feel very insecure about my height. I hate it when I go to school or whoever I'm around they are shorter or average height. I hated being tall and would get bad comments said to me, especially because I am a dancer myself. I'd wear one too, but I'd scare everyone away 🤣🤣 I'm 5'1 (155cm) and 85kg (187lbs) so you can imagine, I am at least x3 that girls size width wise. It doesnt help I have a thick ribcage also, so if I did manage to become skinny with the help of surgery (nothing else works) I'd look out of proportion with my large ribs then into this tiny waist and gut then massive hips. (42 inch) so I'm fine as I am, I have accepted my size since I became sick at age 15. (Hypothyroidism) I'm stuck with it and the problems it brings the rest of my life. 🤷♀️ Still.. I don't do relationships anymore, far too old for that nonsense, approaching 30 rapidly 🤣
This one was personal to watch. I'm a 6'1 woman and I have been bullied my whole life (all 30+ years of it) for being tall. Been bullied by family, bosses, teachers, classmates, dates, and complete strangers, as well as friends. For over a decade I slouched so bad to make myself appear shorter but all that did was hurt my self-esteem and body. I have since learned that people who make fun of a person's height are afraid of those tall people, they feel inferior or frightened and feel the need to lash out as a way of making themselves feel better temporarily for whatever is truly bothering them deep down inside. Instead of working on themselves they're mean to others. I know the hateful comments about my height have nothing to do with me and have everything to do with the person saying them. Interestingly, the vast majority of my girlfriends are above average height. The tallest being just about your height. When we're in a group, I'M the one who sticks out as looking like their child. Chinese people from the villages are some of the nicest people Ive met especially the older ones. I gained so much weight during my stay there because I get free food from my neighbors all the time.

Yes, I believe China version of fat and western fat is very different. From my understanding women in Asia (around average height 5'3) aim to be around the 40-45kg mark. Whereas many in the west of similar height would be around 50-60kg to be in the healthy weight range but still slim Then there's me... 5'1 and 85kg. 🤣 I don't even eat that much.

I am a 6'1 girl and it's really painful cause growing up I really felt abnormal as friends will easily leave me and make fun of my height calling me longitude but I will smile it off without them knowing their words hurt. My teachers will even pair me with the shortest guy in the class and ask me to have a surgery to reduce my height of I wanted to marry. Been alone the last 15 years, no friends, no going out, no dating, no relationships in person etc etc. While my height isn't the biggest issue during my school years, my weight however didn't help. I got hypothyroidism around age 14-15, my hair started falling out, the pounds piled on. So I became the short, fat girl with balding spots until I was diagnosed at 18 and put on medication that I'm stuck with the rest of my life. I used to have beautiful long (past my hips) shiny hair, got hypothyroidism and since it was falling out anyway, I sliced it all off. However, now I'm older, I've learnt regardless how bad your experience was, someone always has it worse.

I am like tiny squish. Tiny as in 155cm (5'1) and squish as in I have a squishy bit stuck to my intestines and surrounding areas. 🤣🤣 Hence why I cant wear white or beige for riding in on my lower half, it doesnt look good, my horse can still carry me as long as I don't go over the weight limit of 90kg including saddle. I'm currently sitting 87kg with saddle. (Its about 2kg) 🤣

My height is 5'8 and yes most of girls around me have avg. height from 5'2 to 5'5 . Some of classmates used to tell that im too tall because they weren't. At starting their words affected me because i thought if i were different.
But once a girl told me that i have a good personality and they always had a wish to be as tall as me. Then i get to kenw that people will criticize u because that wanted to be like u but they are not.
And I'm so proud about myself.

I'm 6'1" as a guy and never had to deal with height'ism (is that a word?) but it's way worse being a short guy. Girls openly discriminate against short guys.

I am a 6'1 girl and it's really painful cause growing up I really felt abnormal as friends will easily leave me and make fun of my height calling me longitude but I will smile it off without them knowing their words hurt. My teachers will even pair me with the shortest guy in the class and ask me to have a surgery to reduce my height of I wanted to marry. To them it was a joke but to me their statement made me hate myself till today. I really want to love myself and my height. I want to dance and do things freely.
Better than being called a midget. 🤷♀️ I'm 5'1 29 years old. Been alone the last 15 years, no friends, no going out, no dating, no relationships in person etc etc. While my height isn't the biggest issue during my school years, my weight however didn't help. I got hypothyroidism around age 14-15, my hair started falling out, the pounds piled on. So I became the short, fat girl with balding spots until I was diagnosed at 18 and put on medication that I'm stuck with the rest of my life. I used to have beautiful long (past my hips) shiny hair, got hypothyroidism and since it was falling out anyway, I sliced it all off.
However, now I'm older, I've learnt regardless how bad your experience was, someone always has it worse.

Tiny as in 155cm (5'1) and squish as in I have a squishy bit stuck to my intestines and surrounding areas. 🤣🤣
Hence why I cant wear white or beige for riding in on my lower half, it doesnt look good, my horse can still carry me as long as I don't go over the weight limit of 90kg including saddle. I'm currently sitting 87kg with saddle. (Its about 2kg) 🤣
