AJ actually plays the keyboard, flute, violin, and the guitar. Let's not forget about the most important instrument she has, her hypnotic voice that has a hold on all of us.
Grandma Mery Zamani was one of the producers and the 3 younger children plus Angelina are her 4 granddaughter's. You're about 20 reactions behind if it's been 5 months. She did many live performances in Norway this summer plus a gorgeous b&w studio "I Have Nothing" The hair is actually a tribute to Priscilla Presley.
16 and still just a kid in school. But ascending to the top of the heap of all time. IMO already the GOAT. Even if only her making people everywhere love her. That voice from an such adorable human ............. The phenomenon of Angelina.
Absolutely what I expected. She made this her own song and she did it beautifully. I noticed Juliet sitting there she is going to be as beautiful as Angelina one day. Elvis' version is great and, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own. When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 82 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched. Her phrasing in the last bridge is great. And she got Elvis’s ‘Oh Yea’ at the end of the song. The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammys), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers. The two small kids are her uncle Mike's kids, and the older girl is Angelina's sister. If you haven’t already reacted her latest studio of Whitney Houston's version you should - here’s the link - th-cam.com/video/iX0g99jN26U/w-d-xo.html 🙂
Yeah! She’s something special, isn’t she? Pure Velvet Perfection! This vocal arrangement was all Angelina, I have no doubt in collaboration with a stellar team including Rob Christie & Mery Zamani her Grandmother. She is a Master Storyteller. The video is shot in the same Antique Store that she did 'My Funny Valentine' on Valentine’s Day. I believe it is in LA near her home. I believe the girls in the video represent Angelina's Journey from infancy to present through the classics of music history. Thus the Antique store, She grew up studying and performing these classics. Did you notice that right foot raise it''s heal to cradle the guitar a couple of times in the performance. I was waiting for her to throw in a little shake to it in homage to the King. Could that have been intentional? That is Rob Christie on piano. Sister Juliette and a couple of Uncle Michael's Babies. I think that makes them cousins not nieces. Full Black Leather Bodysuit, the guitar from his concert in 68 and the hair a homage to Priscilla Presley. Yeah! She can bring tears to your eyes. I base my interpretation on my knowledge of Angelina's journey from an 18 month old little girl singing a "classic" of music history 'I Will Always Love You' . She has been listening to these classics on repeat on YOUTube since then under the guidance and inspiration of her Grandmother Mery Zamani. She has been performing these classics since her first time in studio at 6 yrs old.. She has continued this journey through her 1st introduction to the world with her "Classic'" 'Gloomy Sunday and following with her many performances at her many Jazz Festivals, TV performances, Concerts, and charity events, studio recordings and practice sessions at home accompanied or not. The location in the Antique store represents these classics (like the furniture) of another era. To me she portrays wonder at all these classics surrounding her. as she has travelled this road. Her tribute to Elvis is at her present age, today, each stage represented by her cousins and sister and ending with Angelina herself on the couch still admiring all this history surrounding her. The beautiful rendition of the song, and other tributes are in the leather outfit, Guitar and hair a tribute to Priscilla. Just my interpretation but it makes the most sense to me. ♥👣👸🏻
I enjoyed reading your reaction to the reaction. There is only one part of your interpretation that i disagree with so I'll share it. She is a Master Storyteller indeed .. and because of that, I disagree that the kids in the video represented Angelina's life growing up. I strongly believe that she would NOT go off her story of Elvis and Priscilla's marriage potentially on the rocks and suddenly cut to Angelina growing up and then go back to the story of the suspicion and this couple. The piece with the children makes so much more sense of they represent Lisa Marie growing up .. and if you look at her moment right after her daughter was fascinated by the beauty and shiny things all around in their home (I think it represents Graceland because there's a shot right at the very start of the story where there's a full screen of dishes in a pile, probably representing a home) so again, I believe that when she's watching Lisa Marie fascinated by pretty things all around, Angelina (Priscilla) looks up where LisaMarie was looking and it is clear that she no longer could care about all that and she gets up to move away. So that's my interpretation and basically came about it by watching it many many times because I thought it brilliant. I hope you don't mind that I added it to yours .. I just think it's fascinating how much detail is in this video and how it can be seen in different ways.
@@patriciasepulveda1264 My dear Patricia. I think interpretations are free for all to have. However sometimes the simplest and less complicated often proves to be the closest. Akums Razor. The dishes may have been antiques like everything else in the store. I'm guessing you like I grew up with Elvis so we know and understand much of the story of Elvis. Angelina was born 16 yrs ago and while she is a student of Music History, I don't believe she would have the time or desire to dive that deep into Elvis' private life. She would likely be more focused on his musical career. Furthermore, as a Master Storyteller which she certainly is she is also telling this story to an Audience many of who were never introduced to Elvis and may have no idea even who Elvis was. Sometimes the simpler explanation is the easiest to convey and recognize. I base my interpretation on the setting and past themes of Angelina's videos. Angelina loves the Classics and grew up admiring and studying them. What better metaphor for these classics than an Antique Store. She has used this setting in 3 of her latest videos and my explanation fits them all. Also Angelina has used her sister in a previous videos representing her childhood memories like that of her sister and her Grandfather. 'Million Miles' Lastly most of the reactors I've watched almost unanimously jump to the assumption it represents Angelina growing up. None I can think of jumped to the conclusion Angelina was trying to assume Priscilla's relationship with Elvis. While Elvis may have felt that connection to the song. The song was written and meant to convey that relationship to the Average listener and no one can convey that meaning better than the Master Storyteller Angelina Jordan. And I think she did it better that Elvis. Feel free to interpret it your way. I assume that's where the representation led you and therefore for you it is the correct interpretation for you. For me Angelina's nod to Elvis was the Precilla hairdo, the Black Leather suit, the Guitar, Rob's orange jumpsuit and the song itself. Again sometimes the simpler the explanation... Love from Minnesota Land of Vikings. ♥👣
I think you nailed the idea of the young girls (the two youngest were her cousins and the older one was her sister) being different stages of Angelina’s youth. She used to perform in white dresses like the ones worn by these young girls. Thanks for a great reaction.
She's been singing so long that when you said she sounds much more mature now, she's still only 16 years old and she still has room to grow and even become better....Man, that's scary! You seem to be a bit behind in regards to her music, but that's okay, when you are catching up, we'd love to see your reaction videos and see what you think of them. Maybe if your wife has time, you can do a couples reaction on a few of the newer stuff Angelina has out there right now. A nice reaction! Good to se you back!
Just a thought: The children in the video represent Angelina's feelings/relationship over time. The trap she's caught in is her love for that person. Consider our own relationships, wherein that other person just dominated our hearts. She says she can't walk out because she loves the person so much. Love is like gravity, as it holds us in orbit to our beloved. She then asks whether or not the person can see what their distrust has done to her love for them. Gravity is no longer exercising full control over her heart. So...as this relationship unfolds, she is no longer being held in a trap by her affections. If necessary, she can and will walk away. I presume that most or all of us wish we could stay in the 'honeymoon' phase of our relationships, when our trust and love for a person is untarnished and unequivocal. She's on the brink of the death of that love, such as a divorce/separation. This song then is her final request for the person she affectionately calls "Baby" to cease and desist with their suspicions/lack of trust. She is no longer in a trap or unable to walk away. She doesn't want this good thing, their love, to die. While it may be possible that their were actual children in the relationship, the story of the song does not follow or return to their potential presence. It's all about Angelina and her love for the other person, this person she/Elvis calls "Baby". She wants to be in a fully devoted and loving state, as was the case when that love was still young. In that regard many of us wish likewise in our relationships.
Melrose Gallery is the same antique store in Hollywood that she used for My Funny Valentine: What a glorious production, praise to everyone involved, so perfect for Angelina Jordan she rules the universe with her talent. Again, the great talent of Rob Christie playing the piano. The Cinemaphotography, a total MASTERPIECE, Excellent ART Cole McCarthy! Great touch, the cousins and sister get a cameo. Mery, you should be so proud, AJ's grandma produced this. (This red guitar is identical to the one Elvis played in his 1968 concert on TV.) Oh, the tears, and loss of breath, she is like no other in the universe. Here is a classic example of what this ethereal talent, Angelina Jordan, can achieve she takes a mundane song and turns it in to phenomenal classic. Angelina at 16 is the MASTER of her universe, she is top priority for both Stargate, and AJ's voice has been unique since she was 7 years old and now at 16, she controls us as an audience, leaving us hang on every word and phrase. She has written a number of songs.
Sir, after hurting her bare feet last year, she is VERY careful, when walking outside the stage. Even there she uses a carpet to stand on. This information is directly from AJ herself, told at her Christmas Special on YT. You and yours, stay safe, sir. Elmar from Germany.
The most beautiful voice on earth right now. IMO. One of the Best Jazz singers in the world at 16 yrs old. Destined to be one of The Greatest of All Times. Start with ‘I Put a Spell on You’ at 9 yrs old, followed by ‘Suspicious Minds’ dropped in July to see what she sounds like today. Then the rest in any order you wish. All will amaze. Angelina's knowledge and understanding of these classics. Her musical historical knowledge and again understanding is immeasurable. Angelina has studied and listened to these classics on repeat since she was at least 3 yrs old. Her knowledge and comprehension of this music history is far more exhaustive than any average person alive today. She is the truest student of this history as her grasp of and ability to convey this very essence of these classics to the audience is unmatched. ♥👣👸🏻🎷 My list. Only the Best. Thank you for returning to Angelina. Your reactions to her performances are always worth watching. The song was written by Mark James, an American singer/songwriter, who recorded it the year it was written. The best known version, however, was that done by Elvis Presley. It was his last No 1 song. In the Wikipedia entry of the origins of the song, Mark James is said to have remarked "That late one night, he was fooling around on his Fender guitar and using his Hammond organ pedals for a bass line and came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James's wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of." Other singers covering this song invariably base their performance on that of Elvis, in that it is very "upbeat". Angelina took a very different path in that she read and understood the lyrics and what Mark James intended when writing them . To my mind, her rendition is much truer to the emotions of the song. The children appearing in the video were Angelina's cousins Aurora (first) and then Athena - daughters of her uncle Michael Astar, and then her sister Juliette. I would hazard a guess that they were included to emphasise that children are very important to Angelina and her family. Confession! I have never been a great fan of Elvis Presley, although I do like some of his earlier recordings, and I had never heard of the song "Suspicious minds" but knew that Angelina would completely take ownership of it, and she did. It was beautiful. After listening to it several times, I decided to download the lyrics to see whether she kept to the original structure. She didn't, and the song is all the better for it. For me, that she started with the Bridge of the song is very significant and, I feel, very indicative of Angelina's "up front" transparency. She was declaring that it was important that their love did not die, and then carries on to say why she feels as she does. Others first say how they feel and then, almost as an afterthought, assure their love they don't want it to end. For me, it is whether I feel the singer is genuine about the situation and wishes it could be resolved or whether the singer understands the situation but thinks the blame is on her/his partner but feels the need to assure them they don't want it to end (until somebody else comes along).
Thanks for the reaction , I agree the children represent her growing up and in this setting surrounded by classics from the past my be a nod to her listening to and uncovering classic historical songs in her vocal journey.
Angelina's two cousins and younger sister, all wore white dresses similar to what Angelina always wore while performing in her younger years. Angelina puts art back into being a musical artist. Her versions of classic songs like this one are works of a musical genius. She always sings a song in such a way, that I understand the lyrics and meaning of the song far better than the numerous times I heard the original. Very enjoyable reaction as always, and I'm looking forward to more. Thanks for providing a link to the artist's original video but please always add their official Channel. Encourage viewers to use those links to watch, like, share and comment on the original video and subscribe to her channel. They will also see there your own important links, and will likely subscribe to your channel as well! Keep in mind that there are a significant number of viewers who will not subscribe to a channel which does not provide such committed support. Angelina is not only a great vocalist but also a cherished humanitarian. We all want to partner in her mission to use her platform to spread love and peace through her music! Please help the cause!
Andy I was going to leave a similar comment but you said it all. Artist support should be a priority for all reactors because it not only benefits the artists who deserve it but also the reaction Channel itself. It is a win-win proposition.
Thanks for an absolutely GREAT reaction, my friend 🙂 I've been missing you guys. Try to bring your sidekick, too. if the schedule allows. I loved you two together, but I have to say that you did an excellent job all by yourself as well. Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥
Yes, she plays guitar, and has played it on some of her Tic Tok videos. Check them out! She also plays the piano extremely well, violin and flute. You probably already know that she speaks five languages as well.
For the June 2022 release of the Elvis Presley movie "Elvis", Angelina Jordan has come up with a remarkable version of the song "Suspicious Minds" that Presley recorded in 1968. There are many visual references to the King (costume, guitar and hairstyle that was Priscilla Presley's at the time her husband sang this song).
Angelina is singing it slowed down as it was originally intended by Mark James, the one who actually wrote, sang and released it in '68. It didn't take off commercially, till Elvis heard it, put his thing to it and sped it up.
Nice reaction. In my opinion the little girls and antique shop represents Angelina growing up with the classics. And I think the song is her singing to her critics who says she's too young and hasn't lived enough to feel the music. Angelina has a huge heart and I believe she's an impath and does feel the emotions.
Released June 22, 2022❗️In Sep. over 2M TH-cam views!Angelina starts off with the bridge, completely different than anyone else; and then, begins with the opening line of the song. Her Beehive hairdo is an homage to Priscilla…Many photographs of her hair, exactly like that. And a Leather outfit he later wore. The guitar is the Elvis‘s 1968 “Comeback” Guitar! Rob Christe actually owns this. The two young children are her cousins, her Uncle Michael’s children, the older girl is her sister Juliette. She even had a framed photo of Elvis, at this location. Rob Christie on piano ok.🌺
Glad to see you back Jmax! Angelina has released many videos and tiktok shorts over the past few months. She plays guitar and piano and quite well but not her strong point, at least for now. btw Elvis never wrote a song in his life. Many of the songs he performed were covers.
Rob Christie Playing Piano: That dude playing the piano is Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, two years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision.
5 months between Angelina Jordan reactions? Yes, you'll be surprised by how much her voice "matures" between reactions if you wait so long! She seems to improve with each recording! There's SOOO much you've been missing! At the Very Least, you should hear another song where the video was from the same shop you see here: My Funny Valentine (Feb. 2022) th-cam.com/video/bWiLOnHJYxg/w-d-xo.html
My interpretation of the symbolism of this music video: First, and foremost; Angelina Jordan at 16 is the epitome of a Storytelling ARTIST, and she has the ability to take us by the hand and lead us down an imaginary path that we visualize as reality. The remarkable fact is that we experience this in each of her performances. In this video we see her as a married woman in her mid to late 20s. As the video starts out, we see dishes, and it is a symbol of a home. As AJ sings the phrase “Were caught in a trap, I can’t walk out” we see 3 small children, this to me is a marriage where the children come first. If it were AJ by herself, she would not stay in a relation without trust.
🙂 Just a thought: The children in the video represent Angelina's feelings/relationship over time.
That hairdo was popular back then, Priscilla Presley wore is regularly, it's called the "BEEHIVE" (not the Amy Winehouse 😂)... Actually, her "I Have Nothing" her studio version she's wearing her hair similarly to Amy, but her rendition of that song will shock you a bit more than the warm husky one she uses here, enjoying your Angelina binge, it's been great!!
I'm not sure that you recognize all the symbolism in this video. In Elvis' comeback special (Dec. 1968) he wore a black leather pantsuit and played a red hollow guitar, the Hagstorm Viking. The keyboard player is Rob Christie, two times Grammy winner from Republic Records, who also owns the guitar. In the 1960s, Priscilla wore her hair in a beehive, as Angelina is in the video. Next: The 3 girls in the video were her 2 cousins and sister. Notice they all wore white. In most all Angelina's early performances, she always wore white. I think the girls represented Angelina's career to this point. If you think this marks a major change in her career, you would be right. She signed with Republic Records only months after AGT. If you look at the part in the video where her face is centered in a little window, the camera then moves downward. You see the black leather suit, then the red guitar, then downward to her bare feet. This could be saying - yes, there are going to be changes, but I'm still Angelina. I love Angelina, but I hope she doesn't change too much.
Love this. Have you watched her live singing MOUNT EVEREST. chose the one fan filmed from the centre the one on the side is too near the musicians amp.
Great, thanks! Actually, the big hair looks like Pricilla Presley... "The Beehive" hairdo was created in 1960 and became very popular, especially with musicians. It was also known as a B-52 and a rock group adopted that name -- The B-52's! Amy was late to the game, but revived it a bit.
I think the girls represent Lisa Marie Presley who was about that age during the divorce years. The hair I think represented Priscila Presley who often was photographed with the Bee Hive hair. Just my take on it. Have a great day everyone.
Notice the credits for this. Mery Zumani is Angelina's (as well as the other kids) grandmother. I suspect she wanted get all girls a little screen time, even those who don't understand what that. means. Mery has had serios health issues this year and the family is being accomodating. There may be some attempt to recreate AJ's youth but one can relate that to this song is beyond me.
IMO the children were there as a contrast to the lyrical theme of "suspicious minds." See them looking around with innocence and wonderment, not suspicion.

Douglas I really like your list of total remakes. I've been thinking about it and wondered if you might agree that there could be another list of songs that aren't total remakes, but have been signigicantly altered and, to my ear at least, improved upon the original by it being Angelinacized. I'm referring to You're Just Too Good To Be True and You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine. Any thoughts?
@@dojoswitzer Disappointed that rather than writing something musically relevant or that you disagreed, you tried to be a smartass. I thought you were better than that.

johannes She was also palm-muting, which produced that pulsing sound at around 5:05 of this video (She sings "here we go again...."). An advanced technique beyond mere chord strumming.
I have a couple of treats for you. There's nothing really to react to but these clips, but they will take you back to when Angelina was between 1 1/2 years old and age 6. No one in my 71 years has been examined and critiqued as much as Angelina Jordan has been. One day there will be a documentary series on the growth and development of a child prodigy, and she will be the topic. This first clip is from a Norwegian TV. th-cam.com/video/VJjG68Dfr-8/w-d-xo.html Unfortunately, I couldn't find subtitles for the narration, but you'll see Angelina in a bassinet at 1 1/2 years with a microphone singing a line from a Whitney Houston song to her first time in a recording studio at age 6 singing Tom Jone's "I who have nothing". There's also a bit where she's showing the book she wrote about her encounter with a little girl in Iran, I believe, who had no shoes. As we all know now, she gave her own shoes to the girl and promised to always perform barefoot until all children had shoes. If you didn't know, she's Norway's youngest published author. This next clip is just her and her mother in a department store when Angelina, 3 visiting the US. th-cam.com/video/A2nuIAqlEdQ/w-d-xo.html In this clip she's 5, I think, and giving a tour of her room. That Viking guitar would have totally drowned out the acoustic piano. I think she was only playing a few chords softly in order to not over power it. Not sure if she was picking the base rif or not.

Elvis Presley's '68 Comeback Special Hagstrom Viking II is hitting the auction block | Guitar World The Hagstrom Red Guitar used in this video is a modern up to date copy of the one Elvis used in 1968. The Hagstrom Red Guitar belonged to musician Al Casey, a member of Elvis’ backing band during the special in 1968. According to an accompanying letter from Casey, he was asked to let Elvis use the guitar by the producers, as they "thought it would look beautiful on camera and with the set." Elvis Presley’s 1942 Martin D-18 acoustic guitar may have recently sold for $1.32 million, but fear not - another of the King’s axes, this one his cherry-red Hagstrom Viking II electric guitar, famous for its use in the legendary '68 Comeback Special, is hitting the block. The semi hollow instrument is a highlight of Kruse GWS Auctions’ Artifacts of Hollywood & Music auction, which begins on March 27. It's being offered with a starting bid of $250,000. By Matt Owen published March 31, 2021. Now, it has been confirmed that the legendary semi-hollow has been sold for a whopping $625,000, with the proud new owner of the lot managing to outbid six other plucky bidders to get their hands on the prized piece of music memorabilia. The ‘68 Comeback Special marked Elvis' return to live performance after seven years spent focused on acting in Hollywood films. The televised concert, which launched Presley's return to live touring, featured him playing the Hagstrom for the opening segment as well as during one of the live "stand-up" segments.
No .. the little girls represent Lisa Marie growing up. thanks for your reaction. i'd love to hear what your wife thinks of her voice as it's developing.
Jmax, this was a good reaction. Thanks for your actual interest. You have to get your wife to share the first experience with AJ's reverse cover of Baby Fuzz's "I' Still Holding Out For You". Completely impossible for a 10yo to sound like that but there it is. th-cam.com/video/Dv8mjCh5iiE/w-d-xo.html Soon after, he recorded it, hence the reverse cover.
Why do people think this humble young woman would be creating a story line about her own life (with the young girls), when creating a video about 'suspicious minds'? Really gives me a brain cramp...
@@nyima04011 That's a good question. I don't know where I gathered the idea, maybe I assume that artists always have a "reason" behind their visuals so that's where my mind automatically went.
This song has a deeper meaning for her. She had tears of joy in her Eyes at the life performance in Norway this Summer, because a lot of Angels traveled a long way around the world to meet her 💕 her quote before the Song started.. be kind to everyone and spread Love because we need it more in the world. Children started their lives without suspicious mind when they are born in a secret Surrounding. But Angelina released a book with 9y about an orphan Girl. She saw the bad side,💕
Her video "Shield" and "7th Heaven" is a story about herself. Nothing wrong with that. I thought this video has two story. First about Elvis, but also about herself. She respect Elvis, but did not imitate, she made her own version. So its make a sense that there's two story.
@@JustJmax know your own video... You commented that her hairstyle made her look like Amy Winehouse... Like she was the originator of that... But in fact there was one of many Easter egg tributes to is tributes to the Presley crew. Including the throne chair and including the color of the pianist's outfit... And the same guitar that Elvis used on his come back tour... And the leather suit and whatever else... maybe even the mouse in the corner
@@JustJmax Though you just love a voice to text and modern Samsung AI which changes what you speak or what you even type just as you had send... Or for all I know it's TH-cam doing it. Somehow the words just love to get changed.... Like Know becomes no
Elvis never wrote a song. Also Her hair was paying respect to Elvis wife Priscilla in my opinion. Most people think Elvis wrote songs but he never did. " Suspicious Minds" is a 1968 song written and first recorded by American songwriter Mark James. After this recording failed commercially, it was cut by Elvis Presley with producer Chips Moman, becoming a No. 1 song in 1969, and one of the most memorable hits of Presley's career.
Just J...is this is one offer or will this ch still be husband and wife? The reason I ask...I liked the two of you together. However, if we have some future team issues. Brother, I understand and respect you. Good like with that! Been there! Getting to Angelina, between that song release and now she did 3 concerts in Norway ..content everywhere just look! Good review!
Hi Marc! I am hoping that I can get Hal back on a few of these videos in the future. But I don't want to hold these videos hostage since it is hard to align my recording schedule with her. If she pops up in the future, great! But I won't make any promises. Thanks for the comment and for watching the video, hope to see you in future installments! :)
You make an active choice to seek out and watch every single video of this performance and then complain that it's so boring that you can barely stay awake. Are you self-destructive or do you think the song will magically change if you hear it enough times? Your repeated comments are truly an example of true stupidity.
She did many live performances in Norway this summer plus a gorgeous b&w studio "I Have Nothing"
The hair is actually a tribute to Priscilla Presley.
Angelina ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you haven’t already reacted her latest studio of Whitney Houston's version you should - here’s the link - th-cam.com/video/iX0g99jN26U/w-d-xo.html

With Elvis' version I hear frustration with being caught in a trap... with Angelina I hear sorrow and pain.... kudos to young Miss Jordan
She just has a way of reaching into you and stirring up so many emotions. She is so special.
A voice that really hits you !!!
Just beautiful
Well covered, thanks I knew it was her sister and about the outfit the guitar and hair, the rest is great to know. Bless and be well angels. :)
'Million Miles'
Lastly most of the reactors I've watched almost unanimously jump to the assumption it represents Angelina growing up.
Angelina plays the guitar, piano, flute and violin 🦶🦶 👑🗣🎙🎷
Just a thought:
The children in the video represent Angelina's feelings/relationship over time.

He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of."
Other singers covering this song invariably base their performance on that of Elvis, in that it is very "upbeat".
I agree with agree with most of this especially how Angelina performed it. Well said.
💗💗💗Congrats, you don't need your wife to record a great reaction to Angelina, please continue with or without her! Peace and love from Bavaria! 💗💗💗
Rob Christe actually owns this. The two young children are her cousins, her Uncle Michael’s children, the older girl is her sister Juliette. She even had a framed photo of Elvis, at this location. Rob Christie on piano ok.🌺
Mark James wrote and first recorded ‘Suspicious Minds’
Thanks for educating me! I never knew that
Two things you can count on every time Angelina performs:
1. She will sound amazing.
2. She will be barefoot.
Glad to see you back Jmax! Angelina has released many videos and tiktok shorts over the past few months. She plays guitar and piano and quite well but not her strong point, at least for now. btw Elvis never wrote a song in his life. Many of the songs he performed were covers.
Rob Christie Playing Piano:
That dude playing the piano is Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, two years ago.
🙂
Just a thought:
The children in the video represent Angelina's feelings/relationship over time.

Alrighty Phil, you broke out a new record, "7" comments on one video.. you crack me up!!
Excellent reaction, God Bless!
The 2 younger girls are her cousins from her manager/uncle. The third girl is her sister Julliette.
Love this. Have you watched her live singing MOUNT EVEREST. chose the one fan filmed from the centre the one on the side is too near the musicians amp.
Welcome back! Perfect bedtime song and reaction 🤤
Angelina is not Amy Winehouse.
deborah And the reason it was called the B-52 is because it was said to resemble the nose cone of the B-52 bomber. Just sayin'.

@@103mrg You’re just partial to songs whose name starts with a You’ contraction.

She did play. She has the guitar pick in her hand.
johannes She was also palm-muting, which produced that pulsing sound at around 5:05 of this video (She sings "here we go again...."). An advanced technique beyond mere chord strumming.
Welcome back, its been a while.
The exceptional thing about this is that she's speaking English with no hint of an accent. th-cam.com/video/dPJL6u2Ne3g/w-d-xo.html

That Viking guitar would have totally drowned out the acoustic piano. I think she was only playing a few chords softly in order to not over power it. Not sure if she was picking the base rif or not.

The new Hagstrom ’67 Viking® II equipped with its hollow-body slim lined flame maple ply body, is adjoined to a 6-in-line, bolt-on Canadian maple neck. The new specially developed dual coiled Hagstrom Mini-Humbucking pickups will bring players back to the golden age of rock/pop music, with the introduction of the newly developed Hagstrom “H-52” Mini Humbucker pickups. The same classic vibe from the 60’s originals, fused together with modern day technology for a classic and punchy humbucker tone or in splitable single coil mode, providing players with complete tonal flexibility.
Elvis Presley's '68 Comeback Special Hagstrom Viking II is hitting the auction block | Guitar World
The Hagstrom Red Guitar used in this video is a modern up to date copy of the one Elvis used in 1968.
The Hagstrom Red Guitar belonged to musician Al Casey, a member of Elvis’ backing band during the special in 1968. According to an accompanying letter from Casey, he was asked to let Elvis use the guitar by the producers, as they "thought it would look beautiful on camera and with the set."
Elvis Presley’s 1942 Martin D-18 acoustic guitar may have recently sold for $1.32 million, but fear not - another of the King’s axes, this one his cherry-red Hagstrom Viking II electric guitar, famous for its use in the legendary '68 Comeback Special, is hitting the block.
Pricilla Presley she looks just like her
The hairstyle PRICILLA PRESLEY.....!!!! Long before Amy W.
Angelina is the first girl who made my saying wrong. I said no girl can someday sound better than Ellie Goulding.... 🤓
This is one hundred times better then the original. This is beautiful music with banal lyrics
Pricilla Presley is who she is honoring.
Why do people think this humble young woman would be creating a story line about her own life (with the young girls), when creating a video about 'suspicious minds'? Really gives me a brain cramp...
I have a bad habit of reading too deep into things 🫣
@@JustJmax but what prompted that story? No worries, you're not the only one.
She plays many instruments....
That hairstyle makes your look even more like Priscilla Presley...
MY hairstyle?!?! Interesting 🤔
@@rickrack4812 My mind is thoroughly blown...

Actually Elvis did the most popular cover not the original.
Not Amy…Priscilla.
I'm still holding out for you...... perform that age 10.. I suggest you doing with your wife.
Why dont you listnen at hear..160 covers and 5 own.
I dont understand...
Did you have trouble staying awake through this because I did. This was unnecessarily slowed down to a snail's pace
You make an active choice to seek out and watch every single video of this performance and then complain that it's so boring that you can barely stay awake. Are you self-destructive or do you think the song will magically change if you hear it enough times? Your repeated comments are truly an example of true stupidity.
