Immediately when you mentioned you wanted cat info, my cat made her way towards the screen. Lol Willow is pretty big now but she still likes to sit next to me and watch me play the sims. When I first got her she used to sit on my desk directly in front of the screen and watch me build. She can get bored but it still warms my heart
you can! the goats just go into your inventory so all you need for them is a feeder, and the hay throughs actually size down decently. my sim keeps his mini goat inside and I haven't had any problems
going to do a haunted old west town with paranormal pack...turn 1 area into all haunted lots. I like the idea of turning the large penthouse lot into a ranch...hmmm
Basement stairs are usually attached to kitchens. If you see a door in the kitchen, it's probably stairs to the basement. (I'm in the midwest, so region might matter)

Yes! I was trying to think of all the houses I have been into with a basement, and they always seem to be right off of the kitchen. Not usually in the kitchen, but right next to it. I think the first house I lived in had a basement door IN the kitchen, but that house was built in the 1930s.
It’s been so fun over the last year or so since Dan moved over to hear his British vernacular seep into your everyday speech more and more 😂 ex 12:30 “you know how sometimes you struggle loads” in this video, I can’t recall more right now but my brain flags them at least once a video now and it’s so sweet
My cat loves to watch your streams with me on my tv and always sits right in front of it and stares at you 😂 he gets especially excited when Snap makes an appearance, it’s so cute.
I was like: hey this looks a lot like the house I’m playing in.. halfway through the video, I realized that I downloaded this house and have been playing it for a few days 😂❤
Petition for simsie to make an entire video talking about Snap. Sims 4 in the background or whatever, but I would watch a video all about her cat. I just got a kitten, maybe that's why, but still. Thanks for the smaller ranch, larger animal area build Simsie!
Same, her cat is so cute and reminds me of a cat that I recently lost this year (RIP Littlefoot). Also I got a kitten too! I named him Shadow for multiple reasons. He's a little gray fluff ball that has his sweet, cuddly moments and other times he's getting into trouble or bullying my dog (13yrs old), who understands he's just a baby brat.
@hayleygondek2425 I'm sorry got your loss, I've been there in early June with my 16 yo siamese. It was his time, but it still hurts. My new kitten is an 8 week old calico named Purrsephone. She purrs like a motorcycle.
For your cats question: my cats love watching animals on TV. They get more excited about other cats or birds and rodents, but I think they can definitely tell that they are animals and get curious! 🖤
just thought i'd let you know, ' water trough' is not pronounced 'trow', its pronounced 'troff' :P the build looks great btw, love how busy it is without being so cluttered you can't get places, the landscaping is well done c:
@@magentafox1657 really?? I've grown up around horses and seen a ton of horse movies, i've never heard of it being called a trow before in any instance. * insert confused math lady meme*
@StarlightBettaGamer In some parts of Australia (tasmania), some people use 'trow'. There's also other variation in this word's pronunciation ('troff' or 'troth'). It varies depending on your region. As I said, as long as you know what someone means I don't think it matters.
My cat watches wildlife documentary’s, specifically about big cats and boy she loves it. The panther will be doing like a criss cross lay In a tree and I turn around and next thing I see- she is sitting like that on the back of the couch! I love your videos they are my comfort channel, also as an equestrian I’m LOVING the horse ranch content!
For me cottage living is better than horse ranch, for example the chickens can lay eggs which can hatch into special chickens with special abilities, and you can use the special colored eggs in recipes which sometimes effects the mood of your sim. so for me the chickens triumph the goats and minisheep. But ofc the mini sheep and goats are way cuter. But the chickens contribute to much more game play. 😊 and in cottage living there's the actual contests (no rabbit hole) where you can enter your pie, chicken, cow or lama. And the special errands, the gifts from townies, the new berries and crops.. I just think cottage living so so much more to offer, horse ranch is just horses and rabbit holes. 😅
Refresh rate on screens is one reason cats have gotten into watching things on monitors when they didn't used to pay attention to TVs! When the fps is too low, they just see blinking pictures and not the actual motion pictures we see (think of what happens to a car wheel or sometimes helicopter blades in a movie, when they appear to go frame by frame, same kind of concept). When the standard was 30fps, it was just too slow for kitties.
recently i’ve been loving watching the sims videos and lilsimsie is actually my fav creator! really pretty content and also good and fun builds, i never get bored and it’s strange cause usually my attention span is very low!💕
One of my two cats also loves watching me playing with horses! It's been too cute! Indeed he has been the one who broke our last tv because we let him watch cat tv (it's okay, we wanted a bigger one anyways 😅). He's always been interested in screens. They're both 2 years old and his brother on the other hand doesn't care at all 😂
My cats Tinsel and Nala enjoy watching the sims, too! When I watch your videos I usually get one of them coming to sit on my lap to observe the characters, or when snap is on the screen, they're fixated to her
My cats have always loved watching me play sims!! From following my mouse to the sims to the animals. The babies crying can even make them come running if my volume is loud LOL
My cat doesn't usually care about screens other than the fact that I'm looking at the screen rather than her. She does love nature documentaries with birds though, because she can hear them and searches the whole living room trying to figure out where the tweeting is coming from
I have had a couple cats that love screens and watching tv etc. We have had a few that could never be bothered. Over the years most of ours have their favorites that they love to watch and ignore the rest. 1 Loved Starship battles, another liked fireworks (sound off) shows, a third animal planet shows. So...they watch what they like. As an added note one of our youngest (about 8 months) has chosen your Snap and Sunny as the favorite. She only enjoys videos when you have your cat cam on, or when snap does a desk cameo. Yes, my little lady loved this episode.
Usually there's a random door somewhere that looks like a closet or storage room, but it has a narrow hall with stairs very close to the door. The basement doors don't really take a lot of space. The door is usually on the first floor by the stairs or entrance. 😂😂
1. I was just saying last night I needed a big ranch build that included cottage living for a storyline I’m working on and this is absolutely perfect. The dark vibe is the vibe I wanted. 2. And probably most importantly. I love your cat. She looks so good for 15. I need to see more of her in your videos lol.
My cat is literally exactly the same. Cassie doesn't always care about screens, she'll usually grance at the TV if she spots and animal but if I watch David Attenborough, she'll just sit there and stare for ages at every wild animal on screen. When Stray came out, the whole few days wheny dad was playing it, Cassie LIVED next to his monitor. She just sat on his mini fridge with the most intense stare I have ever seen. You could see her eyes move following the cat on screen. And every morning for the next week, when dad woke up in the morning and went to his computer, she would rush over and sit on his mini fridge ready to watch him play! She's 18 years old and deaf so she doesn't react to animal noises or anything but she loves to watch
This got me so inspired for the 64x64 lot. I have a vacation day tomorrow ..... LOVE THIS. I won't be using a budget however, might include a 3rd pack. We're so building a blue suburb barn!
I like speed builds to some extent but I absolutely love watching people build in real time. Especially when new packs come out. I feel more invested in the build if I’m watching the thoughts take place and change. I’m only saying this right now because I opened this video thinking it would be a real time build. I still really enjoyed watching it tho and the build is amazing :)
My cat doesn’t care about my pc but will watch me play my switch on my tv a lot and does watch my TH-cam videos with me sometimes. She really likes watching you. She stares at you whenever she’s with me when I’m watching your content. Love this build! Also yeah sims is crashing for me a lot too and freezing at the gallery part which is hard because I like doing shell challenges and hard to access with these issues.
I have four cats (as well as two who are sadly no longer with us) and they’ve all shown different levels of interest in screens. River (who is no longer with us) loved watching the TV, she would lie on my lap and watch entire movies with us. She particularly enjoyed action films that featured combat scenes and explosions, probably because there was a lot of movement for her eyes to track around the screen. She also loved watching me play The Sims 3, and she used to meow back at the cat Sims. Our currently screen addict is Luna, her happy place is my desk although she doesn’t always look at the screen. She also watches the TV some of the time, she was very into Strange New Worlds last night. The rest of the cats show interest some of the time, we raised three of them from kittens and they all went through a phase of sitting on the TV cabinet to watch TV, especially if there were animals on screen. Stereotypically they all showed the most interest in other cats, particularly Big Cats! The only cat who never really showed much interest at all was Saffron (River’s elder sister) and I cannot remember her engaging with a screen at all and she used to be freaked out by the cat noises coming from my speakers when I played Sims 3. In case anyone is wondering the three who were raised from kittens are Willow, Seven (those two were litter mates) and our baby Ruby, who is just past a year now.
THANK YOU FOR BUILDING WITH COTTAGE LIVING! i love u so much kayla i've been looking for builds all over the gallery that include cottage living and horse ranch, but now that you have made one, im set!
I’ve had so many routing issues lately. My sims keep getting trapped in my little kitchen nook and also get stuck eating but they dont actually eat at all they just sit there
me too, i was so glad she mentioned this! the gardening bug also gotten worse for me. doesn’t matter what i do, none of the past solutions or mods are working. i literally have not been able to harvest any grapes. i think i just have to get out there before 7:00am, but i haven’t even seen any fruit.
I totally feel you on the working on the 64x64 lot. It took me 4-5 days to furnish a two story home. 3/4 bedroom 3 bathroom. With an activity room and a barn for 4 horses with a giant pasture. I still have room to add chickens and I’m going to use your idea for the little pasture for the goats and sheep. I also like your idea for the pantry to cellar. I did have my one sim freeze once. I really like this home.
One thing that I ALWAYS do that I don’t know if I’ve seen you do, is when I’m using those crop patches from Cottage Living, I bb.moveobjects and place a sprinkler in between four of the crop plots. So like 2x2 plots then a sprinkler in the middle, it makes it so much easier to manage not having to water every day.
My cat has also been obsessed with watching horses like eyes glued to screen while watching spirit the other day and trying to jump on the fireplace mantle while you were streaming 😂
I looovvveee the farm life and barn builds too!!! It's been sooo fuuunnnnn!!! Also I just love these things and even though I'm not a horse owner or anything it's been fun for me in the past to ride horses! Speaking for my cats, both of them sometimes will look at movement on a screen, but they mostly just sleep now that they are really old about 16-17 years old. I think they have always loved movement but now they just don't care as much.
I have a 20 year old cat who has never paid any attention to screens whatsoever in her entire life. Has never so much as blinked in the direction of either a TV or a computer screen or anything, so I thought that was just normal. Then I rescued a young cat like 2ish years old, and he's a total ipad toddler. Loves watching TV if I put bird videos on it for him, or will play games for cats on my tablet for like half an hour at a time. Absolutely loves screens, the little goblin. Loved seeing your lil kitty have a nice time with you while recording, and thanks for posting the video, I'm currently building a big ranch/greenhouse combo (I think I'll have the greenhouse be a courtyard in the center or something) and this gives some great inspiration!
When you pronounce trough, use this instead…(tr-off)! The “ou” says short o sound and of course “ough” says the f sound…it’s so hard to know these things especially with English unless you’ve heard the word before. My favorite episode of I Love Lucy is when Ricky is practicing reading a book of “ough” words in preparation for parenthood. It’s hilarious🤣I hope this is helpful and not snooty sounding🤗❤️ya Kayla!
Any time Kayla is wearing something that I also own, it always gives me this weird sense of happiness that at some point we've probably been matching 😅
I’ve heard you talking about it a lot, for basements where I’m from and based on family’s houses, basement steps are usually next to the upstairs steps, but with a wall between. Or they’ll be basically directly under the main steps. The same with attic stairs too (if the attic is like another floor, otherwise it may be a ladder to an unfinished are) they’ll run along side eachother, have a landing then turn over the other set of steps. This is to save space having the stairs all in the same area. The shape of the basement will also typically be the same shape as the floor above it or a bit smaller
i was just watching your streams and wanted to comment on your most recent video that you just give off the most like beautful aura i cant explain it but its clear that youre just as beautiful inside as you are outside idk
I downloaded this build before you posted this video, and I definitely had the same problem with the bed lol ended up having to rearrange the room! Not sure what the problem is lol
I have been looking after my brother’s cat while he is on holiday and she is really enjoying watching your twitch streams and youtube videos with all the horses. She intensely stares at the horses and makes cute meows sometimes too, it is so adorable.
Who else has been feeling very inspired ever since the new expansion pack launched? I’be never been a builder or a horse girl in the sims, but this pack has made me want to become one haha
Things about cats and screens: 1. Newer screens are more interesting to cats, due to advances in technology. Cats' eyes can detect motion at higher speeds than ours, so they weren't interested in the old CRT monitors because they could see the scan line making the image, and it didn't look like a moving picture to them. But, with newer HD/LED screens, they now see pretty much what we do. 2. Cats tend to be interested in fast, trackable motion. My cat doesn't usually pay attention to the TV, but he was super absorbed by slalom skiing all of a sudden the last time the winter Olympics happened.
I also didn’t realize until horse ranch came out that cottage living wasn’t all that I thought it was haha. Love horse ranch sooo much more, ive never played a pack so much since it came out.
I always love seeing your kitty she’s so cute! My cat who’s the same age also is occasionally very interested with screens but she sort of always has been. My younger cat seems to have no interest in small screens even tablets, but she does like watching the big tv :)
8:30 - I have two cats. They’re both obsessed when I turn on the TV because the remote is weird and there’s this little arrow I can move around, they love that. They also for some reason really like Memeulous videos? Specifically his newer ones on his second channel (GeorgeM) which is weird as he only sits down for those. Only one of my cats are interested when I play Terraria, but that’s mainly because she goes up on my desk more often. The same one is also really curious when watching me build cats in CAS, I can’t really blame her though.
The goats and sheep will sleep on the horse beds, so you could place one of those under that outdoor shelter so they really do go sleep there xD Love the build btw, you pulled off the rustic ranch style perfectly imo!
My cat Ashley will always watch me as I play the sims. Sometimes she would ‘meow’ on my screen if she sees the animals and it so cute. Also the funny thing is she started to sleep on my keyboard and waits for me after school that I can play the sims.✩
My cat usually watches me play sims or just in general do anything and a couple days ago my sim started singing really badly because her skill was low and my cat started meowing along and pawing at the screen 😂
1. my cat is absolutely obsessed with screens, she will sit and watch tik toks and your videos with me all day. she loves sims videos 😂 2. my game has been crashing a lot recently too but it’s mostly in game, i haven’t noticed it in the gallery yet
this is amazing, just what I've been looking for-i was struggling to find a build that incorporated a whole farm with the new pack this is so perfect thank you so much!
7:59 My cat is obsessed with animal documentaries ! Puma's, tigers, lions, cheetas, panthers, lepeords... he loves it ! I was watching something where a Leopard has cubs and the momma was out hunting and the babies where mewling and searching her, my poor kitty got really distressed
I play a couple different dinosaur simulator games and I've always noticed my cat really likes watching me play them, I assume because the dinosaur that you play is moving around and the overall idle animations of them seem to interest her quite a lot. (The tails of most dinosaurs idle animation kinda wave back and forth slowly across the screen). Sometimes she gets so excited by them that she'll sit RIGHT in-front of my monitor and I can't see a thing.
this is off topic but I love listening to her voice, i usally mute videos were the people keep talking but her voice makes the video even more interesting and fun to watch!
I have two cats! One of them really likes to just hop in my lap randomly, most likely begging for treats because I've been trying to encourage him to hang out with me while I play games. The other cat only cares about Borderlands for some reason, especially clap-trap. SOMETIMES she will watch other games, but Borderlands is a very reliable way to get her attention. EDIT TO ADD: I've grown up in Idaho, and stairs to the basement seem to always be off of the back door for some reason. My grandma's and great grandma's houses both have stairs to the basement just directly to the side of the back door with fairly narrow hallways at the bottom of them. My mom's current house also has stairs to the side of the backdoor, which is through the kitchen, but there's a wide "living area" at the bottom.
I've been playing one family in particular since infants were released (on long life span), and the oldest just went to college...I moved them into a new lot where I built a ranch house, and a stable. I think of you as I play because the stove will catch on fire, or the bbq will catch on fire, sometimes in the SAME DAY, and they have had some close calls! One sim did die from a meteor, thanks to the telescope LOL.
My cats have all been interested in screens, especially cat specific stuff! Back during Covid, I would sit on the couch while doing schoolwork and put up a wildlife recording video made for cats to watch (they are usually an hours long or so and it’s just some seeds set in front of a camera which birds and squirrels will go and eat from) and they LOVED it! All three of them would watch it, and the younger two would sometimes get on top of the tv stand/table and paw at the birds on the screen. 😂 Back when one of them was a kitten, I would put this cat app game on my iPad or computer where you could tap the mice that run across the screen, and she LOVED it!
Had one cat obsessed with first-person perspective games. Current cats are more sound based, they start worrying over my game when baby Sims are crying, super sweet.
Oh! There are so many routing issues in the game since I installed the Horse Ranch EP. Sims standing still for a (sims)hour after returning from a community job, stuck "eating" dinner (but not actually eating it) a whole night (no, reset object did not work, then the sim just continued standing instead) and my favourite: always taking the very same extra loop around the living room, whenever passing the room. At first it was so annoying, but then I just decided to embrace it and have my sim have OCD.
We are currently fostering 6 cats, four of which are kittens. 3 of them have expressed some interest in screens, but one of them reeeeally loves when I cast sims gameplay to the tv. I think she specifically likes following the mouse curser around the screen. She’ll get up on the console table to get as close to the screen as possible and just stare for 10-15 minutes at a time.
I have been having some weird routing issues too. I was having a weird moment earlier where everyone was sort of floating through walls 👻 the horses do seem a bit glitchy, my sim got stuck on a horse too even though it said both the sim and horse were asleep. Hopefully they get it smoothed out soon. In terms of basement stairs, in Canada I feel like 90% are off the kitchen, and connected in some way to the back door. Like there is a door, three steps down, back door landing, and then the basement stairs.
On the subject of cats and screens: my cat rarely pays attention to screens. Once in a while she'll watch my acnh character run around the tv screen but that's about it. Then last month I watched Bambi for the first time since I was a kid. My cat was *obsessed*. Her eyes were glued to the screen the entire time. Honestly props to the animators because the characters' movements are very similar to real life and I think that's what caught my cat's attention. She was as interested in watching Bambi as she is watching birds at my birdfeeders. She's 3, still a baby lol. I haven't actually played with horses yet - only cas and build mode so far - so idk how she'll react to them yet.
My cat loves documentaries, planet zoo, loading wheels, sims horses, and dog agility competitions. Her favorite seems to be watching wolves chase prey. I turn on Our Planet for her sometimes and she really just sits and watches until she falls asleep. I love her so much
For the cat data: my cat Morris who was over 10 years old LOVED 101 Dalmatians and the aristocats by Disney. And my cat Cami who was 18 years old loved watching big cat documentaries (lions, tigers, etc). They usually didn’t care about my screens unless it was those specific things. they’d usually sit at the end of the bed, close to the tv and watch almost all the way through!
I live in the upstairs of an active horse stable. My cat likes to watch the owners take the horses out of the stable from the window. Btw it's very fun watching these simmers build barns with apartments upstairs like my irl home!
My cats go nuts over the CAS for cats, when they animate or meow they just stare wide eyed at them - so funny! It’s like they recognise they are cats too! I love seeing Snap in your videos she is so sweet :)
love the build, its so cool. it looks so pretty! (also, i also have weird troubles with the sims, i accidentially bought the pack twice and appearently i now have two chesnut ridges and idk why)
Oh I love seeing your cat! Sometimes I spend too long waiting for her to show up. To answer your questions: 1) my older cat couldn't care less about screens but my younger one will often watch tv, youtube, and my games with me and wants to be apart of everything. She's watching this with me even. 2) I haven't been having a lot of game crashes lately but at random it will kick me out of the EA app and stuff will stop functioning so I have to tab out and sign in again an annoying amount. Not sure if that's related at all. Even had to repair the thing once.
I haven't had issues with the gallery crashing my game, but since the most recent update (I haven't bought the horse pack) my sims are getting stuck more often (it will say they are doing the thing like sleeping, but their needs continue going down as they just stand there), and struggling to move around objects. So glad you taught us shift click to reset as it's made a huge difference. The other day I was trying to play with a family but I couldn't access their house (it worked in build mode, though the lights wouldn't turn on, but in live mode the sims just stood outside their house and I couldn't see inside it to tell the sims to go there/use an object.
My cat love the tiny circle of the loading screen, and having all the attention by jumping in front of the tv when we watch a movie. Love to watch when i play Skyrim, i suppose he think he's an adventurer! x)
My cat really loves any cat characters that resemble or make any kind of cat noises! I foster cats and I noticed the kittens are always more curious than the adults
My cat is the same! She often waits beside my chair to get attention and sometimes if I don't give her enough or I don't see her, she'll jump up on my desk and sit in front of my monitor. I'll push her aside gently so she can still see but I can also see my screen and she'll watch what I'm doing lmaoo. She quite enjoys watching me draw or play the sims as well lol
I feel like every other video, Kayla is trying to explain why everything is blue. It's okay, Kayla, I love your content even if a lot of it is blue.
free the blue suburbans from the “basic” stigma 🫶🏻💙
Yeah blue is my favorite color so it dosent matter 💙
I love blue colour, no need to change it :D
I feel like if something is considered “basic” it’s usually because lots of people like it! Justice for blue suburbans!
Kayla, your houses are blue and you have a cat! YAY!
Would you consider building a petting zoo? Between cottage living and horse ranch plus little things like the animals you can put on ponds like ducks I think you could do a lot with the idea.
thats such a good idea!
I love that!!
This is such an adorable idea! I feel like Kayla could make something super creative w/ this concept
that would be so cool!
„My for sims” she in a hurry lol love you girl
i didnt even notice 😅
Haha
We know what she means
LMAOOOOOOOO
simsie are you sleepy 😂
Maybe it's just the cat lover in me but whenever snap comes on the screen I get so happy - she's absolutely adorable and it makes my heart melt
Same here & I'm always yelling at the screen for Kayla to stop & give her pets right away!
In Germany the stairs to the basement are often under the stairs to the upstairs. Works in the Sims too!
that’s very common in the u.s. too
It's everywhere in the world. Haven't you seen more than 2 floors buildings? People always stack staircases at the same place.
It's generally done because the space would go unused due to the slope. So best to stack staircases so you can actually utilize that space.
This is common sense. It exists everywhere. Lol
just wanted to comment that too haha
Immediately when you mentioned you wanted cat info, my cat made her way towards the screen. Lol Willow is pretty big now but she still likes to sit next to me and watch me play the sims. When I first got her she used to sit on my desk directly in front of the screen and watch me build. She can get bored but it still warms my heart
Would love to see a ranch themed apartment. Don't know if you can have mini sheep/goats in them but could be cool.
you can! the goats just go into your inventory so all you need for them is a feeder, and the hay throughs actually size down decently. my sim keeps his mini goat inside and I haven't had any problems
B R U H. what about a ranch on that one lot in the spice district in san myshuno. god, the chaos!
going to do a haunted old west town with paranormal pack...turn 1 area into all haunted lots. I like the idea of turning the large penthouse lot into a ranch...hmmm
I always thought a farm on one of the penthouse lots in San Myshuno would be cool. It's Sims anything is possible.
@@maltedmilkball2985that sounds hilarious
Or on that one random island in sulani or the boulevard in del sol valley 😂
My friend’s cat Ziggy was intensely staring at my screen when we were making a horse in CAS. The neighing was a lot for him

Snappy being a horse girl is just purrfect! I love Snap's appearances on videos and streams! 💖
My cat loves to watch your streams with me on my tv and always sits right in front of it and stares at you 😂 he gets especially excited when Snap makes an appearance, it’s so cute.
Mine too! Its sooo cute and funny, I have like 39482 pics of them whatching Snap 😂
I was like: hey this looks a lot like the house I’m playing in.. halfway through the video, I realized that I downloaded this house and have been playing it for a few days 😂❤
I did this with one of Kaylas other builds! I watched her build it then when i went back to play I was like WAIT A SECOND😂😂😂
Petition for simsie to make an entire video talking about Snap. Sims 4 in the background or whatever, but I would watch a video all about her cat. I just got a kitten, maybe that's why, but still. Thanks for the smaller ranch, larger animal area build Simsie!
Lol we made jokes on stream about just having a cat cam as the full screen with her just describing what she was doing in the background

just thought i'd let you know, ' water trough' is not pronounced 'trow', its pronounced 'troff' :P the build looks great btw, love how busy it is without being so cluttered you can't get places, the landscaping is well done c:
this at least was a more understandable mispronunciation than James's "fowl" for foal lol
Some accents pronounce it as 'trow'. I don't think it matters which is used as long as people know what you're talking about :)
@magentafox1657 Tasmania. Say no more 🤣
My cat watches wildlife documentary’s, specifically about big cats and boy she loves it.
and in cottage living there's the actual contests (no rabbit hole) where you can enter your pie, chicken, cow or lama. And the special errands, the gifts from townies, the new berries and crops..
I just think cottage living so so much more to offer, horse ranch is just horses and rabbit holes. 😅
Snap is 15! She doesn’t even look that old, but she is adorable 🥰
“Sometimes your houseplan just does itself”
Every build is a battle of the brain for me 😅
a digital horse living better than me.
One of my two cats also loves watching me playing with horses! It's been too cute! Indeed he has been the one who broke our last tv because we let him watch cat tv (it's okay, we wanted a bigger one anyways 😅). He's always been interested in screens. They're both 2 years old and his brother on the other hand doesn't care at all 😂
Only Kayla would make a blue suburbarn
fr
My cats Tinsel and Nala enjoy watching the sims, too! When I watch your videos I usually get one of them coming to sit on my lap to observe the characters, or when snap is on the screen, they're fixated to her
My cats have always loved watching me play sims!! From following my mouse to the sims to the animals. The babies crying can even make them come running if my volume is loud LOL
My cat doesn't usually care about screens other than the fact that I'm looking at the screen rather than her. She does love nature documentaries with birds though, because she can hear them and searches the whole living room trying to figure out where the tweeting is coming from
Horses are making me have the motivation to play the Sims
I need to see more of her in your videos lol.
i was on the edge of my seat waiting for you to upload!! i love lil simsie !!
Imagine having just made a lot of nectar bottles and having to climb down the ladder with them to store them😂😂😂 Love the build Kayla❤
Imagine trying to carry a piano up that staircase. 😁 Pivot!
@@wil554 hahahahha yes!!!!
wouldn't it be funny to place stains on the bottom of that ladder from all the bottles the sim dropped while climbing up or down. 😂
Love seeing Snap! I have two cats that try to "hold" my hand while I'm playing sims. 😂
When I was watching your stream and Charlie was running around the barrels my dog was SO fascinated with her running around 😭
Beautiful work as always!
If you hold alt you can place the spandrels individually. No need to have to delete them all and the fence. :)
THANK YOU FOR BUILDING WITH COTTAGE LIVING! i love u so much kayla
i've been looking for builds all over the gallery that include cottage living and horse ranch, but now that you have made one, im set!
I’ve had so many routing issues lately. My sims keep getting trapped in my little kitchen nook and also get stuck eating but they dont actually eat at all they just sit there
Ugh same! I HATE when they do that fake eating thing - I never know how to get them out of it besides restarting my game.
me too, i was so glad she mentioned this! the gardening bug also gotten worse for me. doesn’t matter what i do, none of the past solutions or mods are working. i literally have not been able to harvest any grapes. i think i just have to get out there before 7:00am, but i haven’t even seen any fruit.
That is One of the prettiest sims ranches I have ever seen😮 Great job Kayla 👏
My cat’s 16 & as she’s gotten older, she’s become more chatty & I’m here for it 😍
I have a 20 year old cat who has never paid any attention to screens whatsoever in her entire life.
Girl is getting too obsessed! i cant lie This Pack is to die for.
“My for sims” 😭
I'd love to see a big ranch wedding venue - I think the pack items and swatches would make for a really beautiful one!
As someone from the Midwest most people’s stairs to the basement usually come off of the kitchen/loving room area
I downloaded this build before you posted this video, and I definitely had the same problem with the bed lol ended up having to rearrange the room! Not sure what the problem is lol
10:30 in my experience, basement stairs are usually found behind a door beneath the stairs that go up.
Cottage Living >>> Horse Ranch
The goats and sheep will sleep on the horse beds, so you could place one of those under that outdoor shelter so they really do go sleep there xD
Love the build btw, you pulled off the rustic ranch style perfectly imo!
I really like the layout of this build! And huzzah for more blue! It's not your fault the blue swatches are so nice looking!
Kayla going from her Barbie pink building phase into chaos gremlin dirty bathroom and creepy basement build phase is honestly so on brand
My cats are big fans of the sims, they enjoy watching the little characters run around! And my one cat loves to watch the cursor while I build!!!
love the build, its so cool. it looks so pretty!
