Lived out in Az for about 4 years. We would travel from the desert heat to snow in a few hours for some of the most intense snow 4 wheeling I've EVER DONE. Brought back some good memories.A great way to get your feet wet for sure. I knew Jelly was going to swim. She cracks me up like Lola. Were going for another Jeep adventure tomorrow. Im just a normal guy riding my bikes,sports and hot rods and now now to 4x4 in a jeep with my dog and not some guy at home disabled. And for the stuff that's too rough I ride along and enjoy it with you guys. Thanks again for another great adventure.

Crown King has one of the best Cheese steak Sandwiches ! One of my favorite areas in Arizona. Thanks guys for showing the diversity and beauty of my "Backyard" .
Love this video and the scenery. Yesterday I made it to my first off-road event with my JLUR Pumpkin Pi, with the Lone Star Jeep Club. I learned a bit of what my jeep was capable of. Parts of the trail scared the hell out of me, my spotters were fantastic and guided me through. I even made my first assist, as the creek bank I climbed easily stopped the Rubicon behind me. So I pulled him up until he was able to get a grip.
The diversity of Arizona is what we loved when we lived there! Sun, sand and snow all in the same day!
Guide / spotter guy was super annoying to watch, and he seems to be annoyed doing his job, too.
I always watch their videos but everytime it comes to a spotter issue i cringe. It ruins a whole trip when you have bad spotter and driver communication.
It seemed like he was putting every driver, high centered, in the same spot.

Glad you got to experience some of what AZ has to offer. I grew up in Pinetop/Lakeside in the White Mountains. Forest, snow, lakes and cold weather! The desert is very beautiful in the winter but stay away in the summer!!! I used to live in "the banana belt" in Colorado and was disappointed at how warm it was, and how dry! Planning a trip to run the terminators if you want to come along. lol
Jeep casual fun :) But if I was cringing at listening to that spotter for Kevin I can only imagine how Brit felt having to be silent and watch. Love those Jelly clips :)
It was awesome to meet you guys and I'm glad you have a great time on Crown King. Next year we're working on moving the jamboree forward a few weeks to get away from the snow and rain. The snowpocalypse we had didn't help. Let me know if you wanna check out some more trails if you're ever back in AZ. Chad.

Hey guys......I know this is an old post. I myself just recently attended my 1st Jeep Jamboree. For me, it was.......LIFE ALTERING !! I’m from the Jersey Shore. We got skinny pines, clay like dirt and lotsa sand. Big and small deceiving puddles where the mixture of the sand and dirt, old pools of water that collect and not dry out......quick sand is in them puddles. So with that being said, I attended the 23rd annual Penns Woods 2020 Jamboree. My VERY FIRST truly challenging off-road experience. I have an 02 Grand Cherokee 6”Clayton long arm, 35”Nitto ridge grappler, PSC steering, and (drum roll) Atlas (2stick) transfer case.....as well as beefy steel bumpers, the new Badlands 12,000lbs winch. I’m a ROOKIE.......I rocked the hardest trails both days(lvl 7&6 difficulty). I’m a LiteBrite sub, and big fan.....I’m now officially a die hard off-roader FOR LIFE !!! You guys are AWSOME inspiration, thank you for all your fantastic videos !!! I understand they are a lot of work!! I am determined to wheel with you guys and get Picts with you in the future!! Hopefully sooner than later. Till then, if you ain’t rubb’n, you ain’t try’n hard enough !!

Hate when you get guys who yell at you when they are trying to spot. The trail guides are a plus but could be a negative if they are yelling at you. Sounds like work. Better if you had spotted for Kev but I know why you didn't.

Did this trail on Superbowl Sunday. It was very wet and muddy. I also saw the Stepchild at the AZ offroadexpo last weekend
You guys need an ARB tire deflator.. Sooo good! Seen many people over deflating using those jt Brooks.. Unfortunately they seem to stop working properly after a while

You guys are amazing love the videos... Just thought i would share that our trip here in colorado was freakin amazing.. It was like in the 60's friday and saturday the views where just over whelming and beautiful... With the mountains and snow on top... We even went up to pikes peek only made it 13 1/2 miles though cuz the rest was shut down but still amazing... We made it to 11,600 feet it was a blast.. I was even able to make it to ram offroad park that was a blast.. My little ranger did really well in the muddy creek and climb some almost straight up spots my heart was beating pretty hard lol but it was fun.. Thank you for the inspiration and i now see why you guys do what you do.. Thank you so much keep the videos coming and be safe out there..👍👍😁😁👍👍

I was excited when I saw you guys were doing Crown King, I proposed to my wife on that trail.
That route would be nice after a big rain, mud, we want mud in your off-road videos, loads of mud, not only rock crawling! :)
We were in Crown King a few years back in our 2010 JKUR but didnt do the trail you did as they said it was impassable in a couple of spots..... Since we were solo we headed the advice of the locals... Maybe some day we’ll get back there..

Sounds like you guys had fun, I was parked along side the road trying to get a picture of the sunrise and hot air balloons over Lake Pleasant when you guys drove by. I didn't get the picture to much dust.

This event was before the axle and gears, but I can say in general that we haven't been able to tell much of a difference with gears other than finally being able to use our 8th gear again on the highway. Granted, we haven't been punching it off the line or anything. haha

You guys may have an easier time to find the right gear for crawling on rocks.
Apart from that, it shouldn't change much how you drive.
That’s Bobby with xploremor. He’s not yelling that’s just his voice. Take into consideration that he’s trying to communicate over a running engine and people inside of the cab. Also he has a great responsibility spotting also. He also wheels with a real knowledgeable guy Roy Bryce. Idk you guys can take it how you want. I deal with the same bs people pre judge me because I’m not walking around with a bankers face and tie on. 🤪 I’d say get over it! None the less the videos are always great to watch thx you. 🙂

That looked like fun. Well, once you got away from the "navigator". I understand it's his job, but after the first Jeep made it, I would have had to cover his voice with some AC/DC Back In Black! lol.
Then it was cute when you got to the water and Jelly after a couple of tries was finally like, I got this! Then she was like, NOPE! That sh!t's way too cold! lol.
Like 20 minutes from my house, and was so sick that weekend. Anyway great video as always, I love Trail Mesa Rec Area and Crown King. How did you get in with 38" tires? They said we couldn't get in with anything over 37".

I knew I recognized that trail. I almost died on the way up to Crown King along with 6 friends. We weren't wheeling but where all on 400ex quads with very highly experienced riders. It was a great ride,beautiful day,sunny 70 degrees+ at the bottom. Then after the playground we headed up,then it started to SNOW!! We made it till only about a mile from the forest road,when we couldn't move any longer. The snow got up to two feet deep.The quads couldn't plow through any longer and we were STUCK. Couldn't go up or down and we were in race gear not arctic snow gear. Then out of nowhere I hear this sound of something coming up the trail. So here comes this freaked out hummer with 40" swampers on it,literally smashing up the trail. He had a hard time plowing bumper to grill hight snow so he and we could get to the King. We would have all froze I'm sure if he hadn't came along. Moral of the story is Desert/mountain,be prepped for your excursion. Out here the weather can do crazy things. Oh yeah on the way back down later that day I told my boys I'd see them next week and blew down from the CK to the parking lot in 49 mins. I was a pro Quad racer then. Now I'm old but still fast. ok back to you guys..
Love the video even with that spotter you guys it entertaining. I have gone on a few Jeep Jamborees and it lost the luster for me. Stock vehicles can learn a ton but I think the modified ones are left with a bitter taste. Need to try the Rubicon maybe just to see if JJ can quench my thirst.
