I did not realize that New York law allows the jury to deliberate *without* having a written copy of Judge Merchan's hour-long instructions to the jury (thanks Katy). That seemed really weird to me and hard to believe, but I looked it up and it's true. However, it's only true in NY if the defense team *objects* beforehand to giving the jury a written copy of the judge's oral instructions, ostensibly from fear that seeing the charges written down may somehow prejudice the jury (which is kind of absurd). So that tells you a lot about the defense councils fear of the outcome of this case. And it also explains why the jury was forced to be brought back into the courtroom just to hear all or part of Judge Merchan's oral instructions (again), simply because defense council refused to give them a paper copy. I know, crazy right?
I mean you can’t blame the defense for taking every possible opportunity to stack the deck in the defendant’s favor. I find it odd that the jury doesn’t get transcripts of the testimony - but again, I see how that works in the defendant’s favor.

In those instructions, the judge explained inference. I'm not sure that Trump Towers was an open venue where anyone could just book a meeting. did joy curl her Trump wig? oh my
Small minded people criticize others. Good brother.
The Blonde Kong gave its blonde Trump toupee little waves. But it's still nothing but The Blonde Kong. No improvement in looks or demeanor.
You’re not attending your court ordered therapy, are you?
Jealous much 😅

Joseph Jones is bald and mean. Everyone knows it. 🤷
I watch the Blonde Kong when I need a piece of 💩 to laugh at. Thanks Blonde Kong
is joy turning into bronze?
Another fkn war? Lol
Read complete trial transcript, and saw no crimes proven.
then you misread
Unless you’re in the jury room, your opinion on that matter is not relevant.
I’ve also read all the court materials. I know how I _hope_ the verdicts will go, but I also realize that the way our system works, guilt or innocence is solely in the consensus opinion of 12 of Trump’s peers.
Said Not 1 Trump juror.
Go back to bed.
I get very nervous when MSDNC talks about jurors considering what they did in the Kyle Rittenhouse case. If those jurors see any creepy vans following them around, they better call someone. I'm not sure who, considering the justice system has been so completely weaponized.
Yeah, I think that's why I get blokked at times, too. EDIT: Sorry, I was replying to your profile comment, not this specific post.
@@andrewstevenson118 I haven't had to use this account since Sept 2023!
Three days ago, I was blocked from commenting. No notice or anything, I was just blocked. Today it was the same thing, so I'm going to stick with this one for a while
edit: Yeah, I figured. I added a little snark in my profile comment.
@@winstonsmith8565 I have NEVER had any notice and usually get blokked twice a week. Usually one to four hours-ish. And yet others I chat to get notices. Anti-trains, or homerfobic stuff. I think complaints should be like "challenges" in NFL. If upheld, fine, if not then the complainer takes the loss.
@@andrewstevenson118 I agree. There should be repercussions for false reporting. I got into a bit of a flame war with someone the other day. She tried to get me to use aBanned word- ge nah side. I wouldn't bite. And I even told her that if I use the word, she would report me. And then about half an hour later, I was blocked from commenting. Three hours later, myBan was lifted and I got a comment from her saying, "Haven't heard from you in a while." Like instantly! I responded by saying, "I thought we were done." and then I got blocked again... it could be a coincidence. Or it could be a person employed by this network (or the dems) with a dozen accounts and she had them all report me. There's a lot of shady stuff going on here
@@winstonsmith8565 That sort of stuff gets me too. I just give them a passive-aggressive comment and stop responding. 🙂 I can easily believe that for a million dollars, you could employ a dozen people doing nothing but political stuff. On any channel. And a million dollars isn't that much, in the US political scene. Especially if foreign agents are involved. I only report people for their profile names and images. Well, usually. And I've only muted three people in a decade.
Joy, i love your hair. You look like Trump with a tan
@isabellavalentini5587 Why I being very nice. You don't like nice people.
@@letsgorandall9848 no that's not nice.
