I'm in the pit orchestra for my school. We're doing this show as our musical for this year. I gotta transpose all the French horn music for trumpet, tenor & alto saxophone. When I first heard the original soundtrack, most of the songs had these heads up changes of styles & rhythms and you gotta quickly jump from 1 song to the next. I thought that was pretty cool.

I guess you have never heard of largest childern theater program in country, Christian Youth Theater. Ones faith doesn't make or break your skill.

+melkymac101 Thanks for your question and interest in TKA's "AIDA". The lead role of Aida was played by senior Brittany Wallace. Brittany can also be seen as Emma Carew in TKA's "Jekyll & Hyde", a 2016 American High School Theatre Festival award winner.

+Jamie Hathaway Thanks for your question. Marissa Kruep performed beautifully in AIDA. She is now a senior and will play lead roles in TKA's upcoming Wicked and The Light in the Piazza productions before studying musical theater in college.
