    Would be great if you could include a list of the products and manufacturers in the description of the video so we can read more about the awesome products and companies you use for these builds. Thank you and keep up the great work!

    If you're off roading not sure why you would want a cold air intake. It allows more air yes but puts more dirt into the motor. I run a regular wix filter and a mpt tune.

      The CAI has an oiled element and a pre filter. It was chosen for its high filtration off road without causing a restriction. Much more service area and better than a flat paper filter. The CAI was used in conjunction with boost tubes, FMIC, turbo adapters and high flow DPs to get the very best out of the tune. If you spend thousands of miles off-roading a year you would want an oiled filter with pre filter over a stock paper element.

    Whats the cost for a build like that ?

    Awesome build and excellent video, as always. It's always a treat getting to work with a knowledgeable and capable enthusiast.

      MPT Performance thanks you guys! Got 4 more to do over the next month and loading that tune and putting the first 30-40 miles on it is the icing on the cake!

    That looks so awesome . 👌 I wish I could afford to do all that . Lol . Honestly I think these Raptors r fast enough . But the innercooler and the exhaust is a must to keep it cool and let it breath better

    Nice build! Well thought out. Most interesting raptor I’ve seen. Bet it runs great. The guy buying this truck is lucky. Love it! 👍

    That complete build on that raptor that was featured in the video . What was the cost . All said and done ? I have a 2017 completely stock raptor .

      It was about $38k but there was several things not really covered in vid shown in the video. This is a functional off-road build with parts that we tested for years. We know what works and what doesn’t.

    You mentioned you added some height in the rear, what about in the front? Seems odd to only raise the rear
    Thoughts on geiser springs?

    Man that came out great!! Thanks for all honest explanations on why you chose certain upgrades and companies. Just wondering your thoughts on the Cobb tune. Thx

      @sterlingswildwest  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      jesse mccown thank you! I haven’t run my Cobb tune in nearly a year! I let a friend try my AP and his garage heater caught fire and burned the house and cars to the ground along with my tunes!

    Being a 2017, did you have do any calibration or programing in the truck for the live valve shocks replacement?

    • @sterlingswildwest
      @sterlingswildwest  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mark Horist you can only use LiveValves on the 19 and 20 models of Raptors. You could put them on a 17 or 18 but they wouldn’t communicate with the terrain management system.

    I just found your channel. Great video!! Question? I’ve ordered the nGuage for my 2019 Raptor. Do you sell the custom A pillar mount for the pod?

    • @sterlingswildwest
      @sterlingswildwest  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man! And no I don’t. I have a company make them custom. I won’t give their name out because they are having trouble getting the finish to stick. 😂 looking for another avenue myself

    I want my truck to look that cool, except with an infantry cross rifles on the roof.

    Are the Icon UCA's compatible with the stock wheels or did you have to go with some spacers? Know of any UCAs compatible with the backspacing of the stock wheels? I think RPG UCAs might work. Any thoughts on RPG vs Icons as far as joint maintenance is concerned?

    • @sterlingbingham7975
      @sterlingbingham7975 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The rubber will kiss the outer tip of ICON UCAs on full suspension stroke using factory forged bead lock capable wheels. Extremely negligible contact though. No issues at all on aftermarket wheels.

      @@sterlingbingham7975 Sterling, thanks for the reply. Appreciate you sharing all your knowledge and experiences improving our trucks. Also want to plug your Skid Pro. For those that don't know what it is go check it out. It was by far the easiest upgrade and has already saved my rear-end multiple times.

    Less is more, definitely not in this build.
