Thank you! It truly felt like stepping into a time capsule, untouched by the outside world. We're glad the effort to reach and document places like this resonates as something special.
Oh wow, those towers were interesting. The extreme care needed to climb up and even more care on the icy roof top was a stark reminder to me of how much you risk to bring incredible footage for us. Looking forward to the Romanian footage 😊 Maria was gracious and generous. Happy New Year BWT Team. God bless. T. Australia
" these a quiet poetry in how Time reclaims what humans have left behind!" No better comment has been made about these sad abandoned places! The bunker full of black mold now a hospital so far gone it will never recover!! The only good thing about it is, there's a place for Broken Window Theory to explore!! That room with all the documents was very unsettling! Another great explore guys!!! Happy New Year!!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much for the kind words! It's true - there's a quiet, haunting beauty in how time reclaims these places, even if some of them feel unsettling. The document rooms definitely gave us chills too! Wishing you a Happy New Year as well! Cheers to more adventures in 2025!
i have been following you guys for like 5 years now and this has got to be one of my favorites from you. to me, you guys just keep getting better! thank you so much for sharing your hardworking adventures with us. Sincerely, an avid watcher from Portugal 🫶
Wow, 5 years - thank you for sticking with us on this journey! 🫶 Hearing that this is one of your favorites means so much to us. We’re always striving to improve, and it’s amazing to know it’s resonating. Big thanks and a Happy New Year to you!
I used to work in hospitals and clinics, so I especially love these medical explorations. Medical records from 2000s would still be protected information here in USA. But it doesn’t seem like anyone is interested in that date, as gross and moldy as it is. How cool seeing all the old bottles, tubes, X-rays, etc. I’m glad you wore your protection. Happy new year guys!
Happy New Year to you both when it comes! The calendar is gorgeous - my sister loved it as a Christmas present and now she's introduced to your videos too. Thank you!
Happy New Year to you too when it comes! 🎉 We're so happy to hear your sister loved the calendar and that it led her to discover our videos - that's the best kind of gift for us as well.
The story of the pigeons made me reflect and left me feeling a bit sad. This is another beautiful video, great work as always. Keep up the good work! Awaiting your next one. Happy New Year!
You guys are amazing. Thanks for your videos and thanks for sharing the thoughtful introspection as well as the outward observations of the decaying pockets of the world. I hope you move from one success to the next.
We put a lot of thought into the music to set the perfect mood, so it means a lot to hear that you enjoy it. Happy New Year to you, too! Where are you from, by the way?
Thanks for another interesting exploration and happy new year. Excited for more Balkan Detours and whatever you may find in Brazil! I don't mind the wait for new BWT videos, the quality is always excellent with interesting story telling about each location.
We're thrilled you’re enjoying the Balkan Detours and are just as excited to share what we uncover in Brazil! Hearing that you appreciate the storytelling and quality really means a lot to us. Here's to more adventures and discoveries in 2025!
Your videos are so awesome that it's always worth waiting for, no matter how long. Your book is awesome. I sincerely hope for a second part. I wish you all the best, health and interesting encounters for 2025.
We're thrilled to hear you enjoy the videos and the book - thanks for your amazing support! Wishing you a great 2025 as well, filled with health, happiness, and plenty of exciting moments. Stay curious!
That part on the farm was shot in the summer of 2022. By now, I live vegan and try to reduce my damage to the environment as much as possible. This was the result of our travels seeing so much stuff going in the wrong direction. Stay curious, Marco
Happy New Year. This is an amazing explore. Reminds me of my time in Klinikum 1 Gera 1996. Same type of equipment. Back then my work colleagues still went on holiday to Hungary and Ukraine although some were adventurous and travelled to Greece and Spain.
Great video as always! The monitor at around @6:00 is at least from DDR, from RFT, the part that started as Rafena, probably. The X-ray machine is equipped with an image intensifier (amplifier) that converts the x-rays to visible light, and is then converted to a high res video signal that can be viewed on the monochrome screen. Happy new years guys - and always make content in a pace which suits you, never rush :-)
Your videos are so awesome that it's always worth waiting for, no matter how long. Your book is awesome. I sincerely hope for a second part. I wish you all the best, health and interesting encounters for 2025.
I become more and more impressed with you two! I am in awe of your artistic view and your level of respect for the locations that you visit. Thank you for this amazing video and for having so much integrity. Please be careful out there. Happy New Year!
It means the world to us that you notice and appreciate the respect we bring to these locations - it’s something we care deeply about. We'll definitely keep safety a priority as we venture into the unknown. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
Happy New Year guys and can't wait to see what you have for us next year. What were those towers you climbed in the beginning? That hospital seemed so decade for no longer than it's been abandoned. I love you how see the beauty in it all.
Happy New Year to you as well! 🎉 The towers we climbed at the beginning were part of the Troposcatter communication base, which we mentioned in the video. They were once used to bounce radio signals off the troposphere for long-distance communication. We explain more in an older video we linked here.
I didn't realize how much time had gone by. I worked in a hospital since 1978. I got my BSN in 1998. I remember seeing some of this equipment in use. It is unreal how something I used to work with is now an ancient wreck. I guess I must be ancient too, lol.
It's crazy to think about how quickly technology evolves and how objects that were once cutting-edge become relics of the past. But your experience and the care you provided through the years are timeless. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much, and we're really looking forward! If you know interesting stories and places, feel free to share them with us. Email would be best: info@bwturbex.com

Great and insightful exploration as always! The room with all those patient files, the paint peeling from the walls, and the dated equipment, really shows you that time waits for no one-indifferent to all, including decay. The view of those towers in the fog was also breathtaking! We don't get that much fog from where I'm from so i'm jealous 😂 must have felt like cloud nine up there. Happy new year to you guys and super excited for your new adventures. Stay safe.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! The fog really added to the atmosphere, and we love to capture these sceneries. Where are you from, by the way, when there's no fog? Wishing you a very Happy New Year too, and we can’t wait to share all the new adventures with our community.

One thing that truly mystifies me is that they have left all that personal information just laying out and all the medication that have been left.
Definitely weird to see such sensitive information abandoned like that. It makes you wonder what kind of circumstances led to everything being left behind. Especially when the neighboring hospital buildings are still active and could store the documents.
