You want to hear a guitar dual, go check Joe and Eric Gales on the blues cruise playing The Ballod of John Henry. Imo, it's the most badass, electric blues guitar duel recorded. Fuckin mindboggling.
I saw Joe at a small theater in Cheyenne, WY 2 years ago, and July 2018 at Red Rocks. I saw Peter in L.A. in the mid 70's. I consider myself quite lucky.
Joe is brightening up the world of blues where ever he goes and who over he plays with, you can always see the respect from Joe and for Joe, he sure is keeping the blues alive.
I met Peter Frampton when he came by to see Robbie Dunbar at a gig in San Francisco. What struck me then and that I have noticed ever since is the joy that he brings to the music. Look at that smile, notice how it is always on every time you see him. What a sweetheart. 🎸
My goal in life is to have the same moments I see in Peter Frampton's smile every time I wake up in the morning...it is so amazing when two souls join through music!
Not just that they were playing one of my all time favorite songs or that it's two of my favorite artists playing it but just watching Peter flat out totally enjoying himself with Joe like that bound it all together. Awesome

So many people hating Joe for "not having soul" or "not being on the same level as..." I've seen him 14 times and I can say that he does have soul, and he is on the same level as others. He receives a bad rep, but how many people younger than 40 are trying to keep the blues alive? How many have a world class guitar collection? How many grew up playing the blues from age 3? Stop comparing him to others and enjoy the damn music already ^-^
