I am not in med school but recently did MBA in London. Have Bupa that pay for but used NHS few weeks ago and thr doctor was amazing. You guys are making a huge impact on society and well appreciated. Thans!
Hey Kenji congratulations. You were such a great help in my final year for my BSC. Now I am in the USA doing a masters. Still considering medical school crazy I know. 😊
Thank you so much for sharing. I am starting in a few weeks and really nice to hear your experience and I will remind myself if I find it tough that this too shall pass.
Hey Kenji, awesome video! Just wondering how you're feeling about the future? Do you feel your FY2 years will be more manageable and is being a full time doctor something you still feel passionate about? Thanks a lot
Hey Jonny! I do feel more confident about FY2, after year or practicing, medicine definitely gets easier and you learn how to manage things as you become more competent. I definitely feel passionate about medicine still, but not working full time. It’s quite difficult to commit most of your week to medicine, and in my case I have other things that I want to devote my time to (like making these videos)
Hey Kenji, thanks for the tips! Are you doing foundation years at a DGH or a teaching hospital? Also what are your plans after F2? Do you think you’ll stay in clinical medicine? Thank you 🙂
Hey! I’m at a DGH and it’s been great. ☺️ after F2 I plan on taking an F3 to locum in a specialty of interest (probably paeds) and then continue into a specialty program hopefully
I’m starting my pediatric residency next week. I “suffer” from essential tremor, it isn’t really thaaat bad but it will create a huge problem for me when I have to draw blood for example and I’m so frustrated on what’s gonna happen
