I mean the cinema was nice but it's also nice to go out to the cinema. the coffee pourer doesnt line up the glass so you'd still have to come down stairs to make one. it would be cheaper to get a regularly nice house and then just pay a butler or two's lifetime wages.

Why do you need mechanical blinds when you can turn the opacity of the glazing to 100%? What happens when someone hacks your automated house and turns your heating off and all the taps on? I get the tech being expensive but not when it is unnecessary or leaves you vulnerable to cyber attack.
Does the house have backup generators in case of power cuts. What kind of maintenance schedule is required to keep it functioning properly? Including calibrating each system?
