Dear Laszered, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible effort and time you dedicated to explaining movement and learning mechanics in Call of Duty Black Ops 3. Your detailed and insightful guidance has been immensely valuable to me. The way you broke down the nuances of the game's advanced movement techniques, including wall running, wall bouncing, yy sliding, edge sliding, keeping momentum, and other various strategic movement techniques was both thorough and enlightening. Your explanations not only clarified these complex aspects but also provided practical strategies that I could immediately apply to enhance my gameplay. I truly appreciate how you patiently addressed these techniques and provided clear, actionable advice. Your ability to simplify these intricate elements and make them accessible has greatly improved my skills and overall enjoyment of the game. I now feel much more confident navigating the fast-paced environments and executing maneuvers with precision, all thanks to your expert guidance. Your generosity in sharing your knowledge has made a significant difference in my gaming experience, and for that, I am genuinely grateful. Thank you once again for your exceptional support. Thank you so much, Laszered, for the incredible 35-minute movement tutorial video. Your detailed explanations and clear demonstrations have really helped me understand the mechanics better and improve my gameplay. The way you compared different games was particularly insightful, especially when you pointed out how Titanfall's movement system falls short compared to Black Ops 3. It really highlighted how fluid and responsive BO3's mechanics are, and why it's such a standout game. Unfortunately that direction seems to be ground cod. As much as it’s keeping true, that formula is just so blown out by now. It’s the same 3 lane maps with the same 10 gunfights and everyone can shoot straight because the movement is so slow and they only have to aim on one axis.
Most highly skilled cod pros, or just generally good players want this type of stuff back because it gives good players more things to capitalize on. The only people preventing it are the casuals who complain the second someone is better than them instead of learning.
Not a bad idea, but waiting for the sound forces you to be late, because if you heard the sound it means you have already connected. You have to preemptively click, so that you jump on the exact frame that plays that sound

Yes, but not to the same degree. It’s important to see left stick input as keys pressed. So a 45 degree diagonal would be w and either a or d. If you can visualize that you can translate anything to work somewhat on kbm. Sadly, there is limits though. You aren’t able to make fine angles with 4 keys, so you will be limited with optimal strafing tech and lose out on speed. I highly recommend learning to play hybrid (analogue stick and mouse) since all the best players used that to get the best of both worlds. Hope all that helps

I agree, the reason those games don’t do it for me is because the mechanics are very set in stone, once you learn them you have mastered them. I could be getting significantly more speed on every little thing which would keep compounding more and more, if I was better. I think I saw you comment once that you had pretty much exhausted the mp maps for clips and i was wondering if you had tried the campaign for any cool spots, then I looked up speedruns and they all look sooo slow compared to you lol. There also seems to be a way to glitch the charge ability in it, which allows you to fly and get ridiculous momentum. The current WR holder is actually a good friend of mine, and have been working on routing for a few months now on the speedrun, and I personally wouldn’t run it myself as MP movement does not have a ton of uses because of those campaign speed exploits taking over most of the time
On that note though, there is pretty much unlimited clips to go for in mp with all the dlc and even custom maps. The more you find though, the harder it gets to stay creative. Also there is lots of clips that I can’t even hit because they are so hard

thanks man, put a decent amount of time into it glad you enjoyed
So funny to see this in 2024
27:00 literally let out a “what THE fuuuck?!!!” Ong if I saw this in game I would assume you were hacking bro😭😭 I’m gonna have to try this. Great video btw! :D been playing this game since it came out and even I didn’t know some of this stuff.
Edited just to say that I finished the video. My brain is fucking BLOWN. Backwards f-slide man. Loosing my shit.
Wish you the best luck learning all of this, it’s really fun once you have everything down, also don’t be shy and join the community of other bo3/movement players, glad you enjoyed the vid!
i love you
❤️
What was the music use (intro specifically). Chill sesh inbound
Nctrn - stay
@@Laszered thanks, I appreciate it
very nice
LETS GOOOOOO
I miss futuristic jetpack call of duties we took them for granted
Beat/song name in intro? 🙏 Shi was too fire. Btw, subbed and liked and saved to watch later even after I watched it 6 times over to learn the movement. PSA, still haven’t gotten it down.😓
Nctrn - stay, and I appreciate it. Best tip I’d give is to focus on noticing when you are doing stuff improper, and maybe really focusing on the controller overlay for certain stuff and the timings. If you have more questions just msg me on discord always looking to help people get into this
almost 10 years not too late 😎😎
lol, moving around in this game will never get old it’s too fun
great video bro. can u tell me how u can move ur cam so smooth. bc for me controller on pc on bo3 feels kinda stiff. are u using a software to change ur deadzone or what r u doing?
I play on default deadzones for everything, but you are able to change deadzones on pc with the boiii client
How do you get that theatre mode editing tool
I’m just now getting into bo3 multiplayer I’ve always loved the zombies and just beat the super EE now thinking about going for dark matter
Lenwood tutorial next year 🙏
🐐
Bo3 ❤
im a movement player, lois
Watching this reminds me of titanfall 2
do u play bo3 to this day and if so where??
No not really, I’ll hop on here and there but I mainly play other games but I try and keep the community alive with regular vids and hosting lobbies etc
Which sensitivity do you play on controller?
Usually closer to max, sometimes I’ll drop sens for super smooth clips tho
you better get ready for bo6 movement
Will be so easy compared to this
Thats cool but like, can you do ogre skip?, double canyon skip? gyoubu skip? bull skip? reservoir skip? air fly skip? owl/genni cheese? , temple skip?
I literally play both games and this is so much harder than those skips
what is that beautful intro song?
Nctrn-stay
i just realized this
now if only we could play the game!
you can
@@Laszered how? pc is full of hackers
@@Ghoatsno cheaters on the box or ps
@@Ghoatsmy most recent video covers how to download a client on pc that gets rid of the security issues/ cheaters. You may still run into the odd few but it’s very scarce compared to the base game. It is also where the vast majority of players play on as the base game is unsafe now on pc.
@@Laszered ty man ill check it out would love to be able to play again
How to you record your controller movement? Like what Programm do you use that shows every move you make on the controller. I need this badly, because a lot of people said I'm playing xim and they don't believe me😂
Gamepadviewer.com
@@Laszered thx
the 120 fov compared to all of us on console at 90 was crazy tho
Makes absolutely zero difference as it’s purely visual. I played on console doing this long before pc
@ yep we all played on console before pc
What's the Intro song?
nctrn - stay
good times...
what's that intro song?
