in 1980 my mother in law made me a ceramic Christmas tree. It was about the size of the one you bought. But it has tiny mice here and there on the tree and the base. I have been looking for it for16 years! (We moved to a different town 16 years ago).I knew I saved it but it had disappeared. Today my husband came in the house with it in his hands! He was cleaning out above in the garage, found a box falling apart, threw it in the back of the truck, heard a noise, looked back and the top of the tree was peeking out!😮 It has a tiny chip on the bottom of the tree that sits on the base, needs a few bulbs, but I was in tears 😢😅he found it! I’m sorry this is long…just super excited!
We picked up six pieces of Fenton at a neighborhood yard sale yesterday. A green satin compote and a bowl. A green (Vaseline glass?) pitcher, creamer and sugar bowl. All for $20 all glow! 🎉 Thank you Michael for teaching us all about beautiful things!❤
I'm Vendor #149 at Jeffrey's. I always appreciate your comments in my booth. This one you mention that I've always got it going on! I'm the MCM and midcentury booth. Thank you! Lynn
Always fun, your videos are Michael. Love watching. I’m not a glass person, so sometimes get bored. I often wonder what people do with all their glass. It’s all beautiful but love watching kitsch. You always know your glass. Nice seeing Amie
I just picked up some 1860’s Gillinder Vaseline glass made right here in Philly. My son in law reports on commercial real estate developments in our area and mentioned that the old Gillinder design factory is being restored as a part of an overbuild for retail housing. Finding beautiful glass is such a joy. Thanks for showing the beauties and finds in this video. Loved that deep color Blenko!
I live 6 minutes from here and if I ran in to you Michael I would follow you around like a puppy dog! Just sharin some luv today! Thank you. I enjoy your channel!
I loved seeing sweet Amie shopping along with you today! My favorite thing to see was all the vintage Christmas! I loved that Santa that Amie picked up. 🥰
The Fenton cameo in the lily of the valley is my favorite! The only Fenton other than glowy glass i love. You must be smoking some expensive stuff for a pipe like that! YAY to the doll furniture!! It's been a while since I saw you pick up any Victorian Christmas. I love that stuff!
its so easy to get lost in there, with those side loops! 😆 I'm glad you found more things and footage at Jeffrey's, seems to be the case with me anytime I stop at I-76 also. Always fun shopping with you Michael, thanks for meeting up with me for the morning!
Michael, I adore your videos. You make me laugh and best of all I have learned so much! I have been thrifting/ antiquing since I was small ( I am 45 now) and I'm not going to lie, I i have never been interested in glass. Unless, you count my obsession with the orange carnival glass when I was 6. But, since I have been watching you, I have discovered that I really like it. There are several pieces I am now on the hunt for...bitter sweet, an amber fairy lamp, anything Viking ( the color saturation, am I right!?). So all of that is to say, thank you. You give me joy every week with your videos and as well as a new found appreciation for even more vintage. You are the best.😊
Hey there, stumbled on your page months ago and have been enjoying your antique walkthroughs. They're a lot of fun! I thrift and antique quite a bit myself, but these days things have been slim pickings. Seeing you find cool stuff is just as fun and I feel I learn some things in the process about certain knick-knacks! I mainly go after electronics and post-modern stuff from the 60s and up but I gotta say, you've really got me into looking into glass pieces! There's some awesome stuff out there I kinda tuned-out from even existing. (and that's another thing to check for these days!) Had a rough past week and you've been a great source of comfort watches also. Love your sense of humor too! Keep doing what you do.
My husband and I have been there twice ( we are from Western PA). It is a huge mall and takes hours to go through but so worth the trip! I actually got my Antique rounded glass cupboard there at the very front of the store where all the refinished furniture is. It is all original - 3 part rounded wavy glass, the original 4 shelves and original key to it. It was exactly what I had pictured in my mind when we went looking for one. I love when you go there Michael! ❤️
Those Anchor Hocking hand painted Vases look like those candy beads that came on the 3 inch paper that was about 3 feet long & you had to peel the beads off the paper to eat them! Anyone else?
Oh the lovely coralline water pitcher at the beginning....how much was it? And the vase that had damage. The shakers at 29:20 seconds that were 30 were a great price and at 29:50 the blue Colorado.... I appreciate when you share things you don't buy but tell us about it and what it is priced at.
Do you go there often? Or not too often cause you don’t want to see the same stuff? I really like it there but it’s a drive so once in awhile I get it Love it!
Great episode. When you told us your knee might pop- I almost cringed!😅I’m still recovering from knee replacement surgery so I feel ya Michael! That smooched Santa was so funny- sorta looked like he got hit by a Mack truck! Glad you eventually scored some good stuff!❤
I had the whole collection of the Fenton Lily of the valley in amber with cameo opalescence. The compote was also pressed into a footed cake plate. Oh what I would give to have that collection back 😢 Ami getting in some mileage 😂❤
Hi Michael! Congratulations with the gorgeous dollfurniture! Love the big compote!!!!(favorite nr 1) Hi Amie! Let the land of the blue come! I love it for a winterdisplay! Looks like a very big shop. Despiratly seeking Amie for shure lol Love the red suggar and creamer(favorite nr 2) You got me hooked on rosebowls and compotes too now Michael Love the red bubblevase Beautyfull glasspieces. Good for a collecter but not for resel prices Loved the empoli apofhecary jar! Thank you for sharing XXX
Had to stop just before 6 minutes in to comment on that giant compote. I’m no expert, but it’s incredible! And I’ll bet it glows at least around the top rim.
Okay, I had to stop again. This time just after 13 minute in. I love those ceramic Christmas trees! I’m actually looking for the bigger ones. I want the hobbiest ones. A green one with the puffy white glaze snow on the ends of the branches with multi colored lights, and a white one with blue plastic lights shaped like birds or stars or a combo. If money wasn’t so tight, I’d honestly collect a forest of them. And I’d continue on looking for all the pieces I made in the 70’s and gave away.
Love all the glass, Thanks for going to Jeffrey’s Love it! Have you gone to Maumee Antique Mall? It’s also one of my stops just like Jeffrey’s. If so what do you think of that one any luck?
I don't think flea bite chips should always matter, especially if you can't see them! I have a gorgeous green moon and stars candy dish with tiny chips like the ones you were looking for...but I don't care...when the lid is closed, you can't see them! It's "character," same as other things showing wear!
My theory with booths that are chocked full of glass like the one 26 min in, they are just storing and displaying it with no real intention of selling it. Better to not display it at their house and have to dust it there, lol.
I think it's mostly an American thing to change your decor for every season and holiday. Here in Denmark we only decorate for christmas and not for every season🙂

That's so cool. I love finding treasures that I thought I had lost.

Great price!!

The little red, viking creamer& sugar!
I've been missing you.... whenever you're on, it puts a smile on my face!!!

I would certainly buy that chenille. The stain will come out with some delicate work. I’ve even sit some stuff out in the sun to. Get rid of stains.
Yeah a shop with Amie!
There where a lot if beautiful things. I like the little blue Fenton bowl you got. 16:15 ❣️
Woah that rainbow afghan !! Be still my heart 😊🌈

Your always a good time Thank u😊
Enjoyed this!😅 Amie is so cute!😍
🥰🥰
My faves were the painted vases. They remind me of button candy. I always liked them. So now you know where my mind is lol.
Love the lamp at 40:20.
I love the chenille bedspreads! And I adore the Lalique ❣ My mom wore L' air du Temps (Nina Ricci) and had the double bird Lalique flacon.

Wonderful finds today!
Love the blue glass as well!
Love all things kitchy or vintage Christmas. 😊
I would have snatched up the vintage wooden bird tree as well as the MCM dolphins on a stand right next to the bird tree
I love the blues too
Hello Michael from Tony and Janet Perez. Like the Spanish again. Mi Amigo
Nice to see you Amie!!
😊😊
Cabbage patch babies!!!❤️
Michael, that pink vinyl box with the black graphic is a wiglet box.
The.cult.of.vintage,Good morning-that's perfect trip, 🤗
I would be all up in that art book section. I collect modern art and architecture books.
Ciao Michael ❤ so glad you got the doll furniture!! Please show us your collection one day b☮️💖✨
Ciao! Oh I will be...It's a work in progress!!
The Santa onion sack cracked me up 😂 he’s seen some stuff
It was fun looking at all the Holiday items and the toys!
I like so many things other than glass. I guess that’s why there are different thrifters to watch!
Exactly!
Congratulations on the doll furniture. Its amazing.
I would've picked up that Santa. Love the walrus!
What a wonderful time with you...❤
Thank you!! ❤️❤️
Maybe you should check some estate sales. Or auctions? Where are these dealers sourcing? Things are only going to get more expensive.
Everything is expensive even these vintage/antiques have gone way up too much.

That gold vase would also go for Christmas
Perhaps a seamstress will find the $20.00 chenille bed spread. To make a, jacjet out of.
That’s what I had done with my noni’s. When I wear it , it’s like a big hug!
I sure hope so!!
Those Anchor Hocking hand painted Vases look like those candy beads that came on the 3 inch paper that was about 3 feet long & you had to peel the beads off the paper to eat them! Anyone else?
Yesssss we called them Dots here in Massachusetts. My brother and I ate sooooo much paper !
Candy Dots
Yes that's what I thought when I saw them too.

Awe, I live in Findlay! Love Jeffrey’s

@@prettylady995 not often, I feel like I need hours to spend when I go there and there is always something I haven’t seen
What an excellent source!!
Hi Michael,
Check out the Copper Kettle antique store just 2 or 3 miles away.
Gina
The lavender birds were beautiful. I don't think you picked them up. The onion sack/Santa was a bit creepy. Great video, thanks
I was just wondering what due you collect for yourself 😊
I like little tiny things. Weird. Strange. This is a previous video: th-cam.com/video/nwfUsEAIuHc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0e2JZt6oH5d5MZUf
Creepy Santa! Aarrrggghh

I bought my daughter a Sailor moon doll and she immediately cut off her hair 😂 funny memories

Loved the empoli apofhecary jar!
Thank you for sharing XXX
Seems like you have the mall to yourselves!
It actually was busy, especially for a week day! They had lines several times! Great to see!
Had to stop just before 6 minutes in to comment on that giant compote. I’m no expert, but it’s incredible! And I’ll bet it glows at least around the top rim.
Too much glass! 😢 I'm just here for the kitsch. 😅

I have not yet no! It does look very promising!
Hip hip horray...hi Michael...❤

I wish you had picked up that large $10 Santa.
Wonder how much $ the plastic Christmas candelabras go for. I saw one there with three candles. 🤷🏻♀️

I mean...can't say that thought hasn't crossed my mind.
Do people actually change their decor every time a holiday comes along or is it just resellers who do that in their displays?
I change mine, and I'm not a reselller.
I think it's mostly an American thing to change your decor for every season and holiday. Here in Denmark we only decorate for christmas and not for every season🙂
