LUCKY It Wasn’t STOLEN!!! - Caravanning Australia- Travel Australia (80)

We’re LUCKY it wasn’t STOLEN as we continue CARAVANNING AUSTRALIA and decide to leave our Jayco Caravan in a 24 hour rest area while we go to 80 MILE BEACH for SUNSET. So IS IT SAFE to leave your caravan in one of these rest area bays? We soon find out……. We make sure we take extra precautions, like we do anywhere on our Travel Australia expeditions, we lock everything and add extra security such as a wheel lock and coupling lock.
We head down the unsealed road and drive right onto 80 Mile Beach, it’s a stunning place with gorgeous sunsets……heading back after dark we wonder, was it safe to leave the caravan therein the free camping rest area?….

Aussies have a distance measure, no known elsewhere. It is referred to as a country mile. So there are actually only 80 country miles on 80 mile beach.
