A thing about "old historical survey maps", they don't show LATER property line changes, so while an old map might show a 50/50 split of something, if later a transaction took place and made it a 70/30 split, then it's the 70/30 that's correct, ALWAYS check the LATEST OFFICIAL PAPERWORK. So "original documents supersede anything recent" is the biggest pile of BS you can ever hear and ANY judge will throw their claim out in a heartbeat, but from what I understand about "sovereign citizens", they're crazy and think the law dosen'tt apply to them. Also, builders and the likes, don't just trust "we have all the permits", ASK TO SEE SAID PERMITS and most places you can search for their validity on the web site of the local goverment (or call the office).
yeah a document does not show an easement or if one neighbour decided to sell a bit of land to another neighbour... when the OP bought the house if the neighbour wanted to argue that is the time while the sale is going on... but so many stories you hear about someone who finds new evidence... nope the person when they bought the home /land based on the contract in front of them and deeds and sales with lawyers have issues to make sure it is correct. if you want to get that land back then you need to sue the lawyers involved in the sale of the home.

If this story is even true I think you miscounted at the 12-minute Mark you made two mistakes you said the mail got three years plus two that's five years and the woman got four and then you said she got more because it was her idea but 4 years is not as much as five that's some basic shit that everybody should know above the age of eight
