This is absolutely insane! The audacity of the HOA to install solar panels on someone's private property without consent is beyond belief. It’s even worse when you learn the extent of the corruption, with fake contracts and embezzlement. It’s so satisfying to see the protagonist and their attorney expose this scheme and fight back. I also love how this story sparked legal reforms and now helps protect other homeowners. This is the kind of victory we need to hear more of!
Honestly, even though the HOA had no right to do anything and they deserved to lose the lawsuit, if I were in that position I might've kept the solar. (That was written before I saw that they were improperly installed though.)
l expect that kind of thing from a dumb 2000s era non-AI text-to-speech program. AI is supposed to be a thousand times smarter. Spoiler alert: AI can't even use context to parse between words that are spelled alike but pronounced differently, like the metal lead (rhymes with bed) vs the verb to lead (rhymes with reed) or live (rhymes with thrive) vs. live (rhymes with shiv.) Do we really want AI driving our cars independently and operating our infrastructure?
How is it that the main character in all these stories always either has a family member that is a lawyer or is on a first name basis with the lawyer they have on speed dial? I'm guessing close to 90% of the population would have to do online searches to find a lawyer if they were in this situation.

CALLING BS on this story installing solar effectively to be of use requires far more than installing panels on the roof. You need inverters to convert the power into an usable form and batteries to store power for use during off hours. All this work not only requires access to the property to install the panels but inside the home or at least the electrical panel to tie the solar into the home
considering how it mentioned stopping additional work, if the story is real, they likely stopped the construction with that injunction before they had installed the batteries and inverters
@@virmirfan unless they sent the power to a central location something not exactly possible with DC such installations would require construction of sheds for the additional equipment or access to the homes.
