I was thinking the other day...
"Is it actually possible to beat Minecraft Bedrock Edition on a Lava Flat World with only using the Bonus Chest with some slight modifications to it?"
This my dudes, is just that!
:P
I plan on making this a series, so that's why I'm doing 50days by each part of this on my world.
I have recorded all of my time in this world, as you probz know that Minecraft can be very random at times so I didn't want to miss a thing!
I have chopped up all the footage to share my experience with you & I'll guide you through some early game farm ideas, tips & strategies if you dare to try this for yourself!

So far, I have survived for 50 days but I would really like to continue this challenge idea on & have many plans on what I would like to do which of course means defeating the Ender Dragon!
But, my main goal won't be revealed until I'm ready... lol!

Dan if you bonemeal a tree next to a flower you have a small chance of spawning a beehive

when tree grows from sapling near a flower, there's a chance for a beehive. bonemeal is not required

The lack of overly complicated commentary in this video takes me back to a warmer, happier and simpler time of TH-cam. To other people it may seem boring, but I find it really relaxing. When something is not completely bombarding your brain, feeding you stimulus every 2 seconds, it kind of feels nice and relaxing.
I just finished his flat world series, and I kid you not I have fallen asleep to every single one of them. It’s become my nap time ritual haha

Hey dan i dont know if its a bug or a feature but you migt not need to grind for bottles to get infinite water firs get the water from the cauldron then sneak place the water above the cauldron and remove the water above the cauldron and the cauldron is refilled with water

Yes... Just one bottle will work. One source is infinite when using a bottle on it.
I'm not a Bedrock player, but does the ol' two water blocks a single block apart not work in that? Do the two water flows not become a full water block?
@@syrelian it does.. This is a tip/trick for when you only have 1 source of water

If you use a fortune tool (any type) when harvesting carrots, the number of carrots you get is more than doubled

You can make more water from one source without bone meal by placing the water down, filling the glass bottles and putting it in a cauldron
Also according to the Minecraft wiki you can cure villagers using witches, since they throw weakness potions
Bees do spawn on birch, it's how I start my bee farms

We can all agree that this bottom trapdoor is pretty dangerous
The fireproof nature of trapdoors adds yet another layer to their bizarre status as a technical block. You can use them to direct the spread of fire from lava, allowing you to light nether portals without flint or fire charges. Barrels are a funny case, too, because they light aflame but don't burn. I built a unique fireplace in my survival world that uses lava and trapdoors to constantly relight barrels; to my knowledge, it's the only fireplace that doesn't use campfires, netherrack, soul sand, magma blocks etc.

You can absolutely grow bees with birch! It is my favorite wood to do this with! It's like a 3/100 or something chance as long as there are flowers within a couple blocks
more like 1/20 chance, at least in java it worked fine and i think more than 1/20 chance , but it may depend on the biome though
@@Luckvieh I play exclusively on bedrock these days, but I had to look it up because I was citing from memory previously. It's 5% which is 1/20 when spawned from saplings. And according to the wiki, it's the same on both bedrock and Java. I wasn't too far off haha
And yes certain biomes now have higher chances of spawning bees.
Dan, now that it is 1.17, it is much harder to do the flat world!! This is because of the drowned. Is there a way where you could update the addon so drowneds drop gold ingots sometimes?

I discovered a cool trick if you're doing a challenge where water isn't available. I figured out this trick playing my own superflat bedrock challenge. Instead of a cauldron, I started with a water bucket.
Dig a block out, dump the bucket into it, dig out another hole beneath it. The single source will flow downwards. Take some bone meal and hit the dirt block with it. It will create sea grass, which will turn the flowing water into a water source

34:46 are we all going to ignore the fact that right when he said ‘mob drops’ a skeleton dropped onto the sapling and right when it died (skeleton drop bones -> bonemeal) the tree grew? That’s like 1 in a million timing.

I just downloaded the map and started playing... I have to say its a really fun, but grindy challenge. I just set up my first mob farm and am currently grinding towards Iron ingots for a bucket. Thanks for creating this!

I'm not sure how well it works in Bedrock Edition but in the early game there is an automatic/semi automatic mob farm design that ONLY uses wood.
Mobs will only pathfind to full blocks. But they can still spawn on top slabs. Exploiting this you can create a drop chute connected to spawning platforms with open trapdoors. Mobs will walk over to the solid blocks on the other side of the drop chute because those are the only places they will look for to walk. Then they fall down and it's just a normal farm at that point.
In a skyblock map with a farm at a low y level I was able to forgo needing a cauldron because the iron rates from the rapid mob spawning was decent enough.
I like how you say trap doors don’t burn and then use crafting tables for the cobblestone generator. They may not burn down but they still catch fire.
This man has /no fear/ of standing near the edge over instant death.

It’s best if you make the opening on the bottom so then the mobs can’t see you but you can attack them easily
You can create dirt with moss blocks too. Just create a giant stone plattform with one moss block in the middle. The click with bone meal one it an it will spread. If you then place 4 dirt blocks in a square in the middle an plant there a giant spruce tree, it will replace some moss with podsol, which you can destroy with a shovel to get dirt. But I don't know if it works in bedrock too.

16:20 just put them on the side of the door frame and leave them open. for the same reason mobs walk off ledges (think the trap door is a full block), they won't walk through the space with an open trap door. and obviously you can put two of them so babies can't get through. if there are enough mobs trying to get closer to you, they can push each other through the opening, but there has to be a LOT to do that.
20:15 an easy and effective mob spawner is to make the floor only two blocks wide (and however long you want) and raised 1.5 blocks off the ground level. then slabs around it gives you a 0.5 block gap that they won't be able to see through for the most part. and since it's only two blocks wide, you can run around the outside to collect loot without having to leave a doorway.

the way you make your videos reminds me of the old way mcyters make content, like just having fun and recording your gameplay. it makes me really happy since it's such nostalgic feeling. i also have a hard time sleeping and gets anxious when it's too silent when it's bed time so i tend to save your videos and play it in the background to help me sleep. you're a cool person dan, another comfort mc content creator added to my list :)

With how much you love trapdoors you need to know this, mobs think it's safe to walk over trapdoors even if they're open. So you can put them in your basic mob farms
He knows he used that concept to trap mobs in his superflat world in his trapdoor moat
I’m making a flying steampunk “village”(it’s all one building, but 4 of its rooms are 30 by 100 with a Gothic arch roof, so...) and it has a bubble elevator with, you guessed it, trapdoors at the bottom.

I think using crafting tables as part of the cobblestone generator is actually a very brilliant idea than many people may have realized. you have more than one crafting table where you can just right click on one of them and craft what you need without having to leave the cobblestone generator

When I was a void world, I put a floating chest down, and when I died it was an infinite death loop.
You can also duplicate water by scooping it into bottles and refilling the cauldron (in java at least). Extreme skyblock player here, kudos bro!

The piglin dancing is very rare! you came across an extrodinary thing!
The manual mob farm you want is the early game SkyFactory mob farm. Make a to buy 10 or longer space where mobs can spawn. And make a path way around it that is 1.5 or two blocks lower than the spawning platform. And only have the mobs exposed by the bottom half slab.
Creepers and skeletons will not be able to see you but you'll be able to smack them.

edit: I played it quite fun so far I did make a few mistake at the beginning that caused me to lose a dirt and a few items but Im still doing okay, you probably added alot of these things to make the challenge easier but you don't actually need alot of these loot drops as u can get them in the nether or otherwise.

Well this is late, but for the mob farm, you should actually have it raised and use half slabs to attack their feet. Furthermore, if you had it set up as 3 blocks tall and 1 block wide, not only to you enable mob spawns, but you can reach every one of the mobs without having to worry about mob agro and you can have multiple rows of these farms set up. Watch Sky Factory 2 and you'll see what it looks like. I'd recommend SSundee for reference.

You love trapdoors! Use them as fencing for your animals. You can jump over them and they can too, but they can't jump out.
