I'm lucky enough to have live near a cute little row of cherry blossoms. I visit every spring to see them bloom. I remember the fist time I went, I was going through a hard time in my life. I remember sitting under the sakura and reaching a similar conclusion. I was thinking how sad I was that the blooms would be gone by the end of the week and wishing I had more time to enjoy them. Then I thought, well, that's what makes them so special. Time is going to cruelly make these leaves fall whether I see them or not, so I better just enjoy them now, while I can. And I realized that it was very metaphoric for how I was feeling about my life. I was to busy worrying about what I could have done by now that I didn't think about what I could be doing now. Even though time keeps moving forward, just like the sakura, we will get the chance to bloom again. This is why spring is my favourite season and the sakura is my favourite tree.
Omg this is so beautiful ☺️☺️☺️I’m so moved by your comment !! And I’m happy to know that there is someone out there who feels the same way when looking at Sakura. Life is fleeting and we are so lucky to be alive, to experience all this. The fact that you are here is enough. Unlike the society tells us, We don’t have to be anything else but us. And by us I mean “love” Of course, life gives us pain too, it’s not all shiny and perfect. But that makes us more empathetic, forgiving and compassionate human being. And I think we need more of those people on earth 🌍 ❤️ I loved reading your comment❤️I felt so connected to you:)
This made me cry. Such a beautiful, gentle, powerful & inspiring reminder. I listened to it twice. Thank you for sharing your reflexions. I did an exchange year in Japan many years ago & have visited a number of times since. While I love all the seasons in Japan, Sakura Season is just...magical... & the moments I had there, with the blossoms stay with me forever. 🌸
A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles. I have a few friends but I trust them with all my heart. I have so many Social Media Friends but I have never seen them in real life. Making friend in real life become outdated when social medias come out. Covid make it worse. But I have high school friends and childhood friends. We become friends when there was no social media and internet back in 2005. Ohh I miss old days.
Thank you so much for this! I got to practice my listening skills while being inspired and being able to reflect on my life this season. I am deeply moved and learned a lot of vocabularies at the same time. Thanks again ❤️
Thank you Miku-sensei for always sharing your point of view. This is, again, such a wonderful video. Your Japanese voice overs combined with subtitles are so helpful for learning.
Miku sensei iroiro arigatou gozaimasu. 💖I really want to visit Japan someday to experience the beauty of Sakura with my own my eyes. The life lessons we can get from this flower, our life is fleeting - nothing is permanent in this world. We are the writers of our own books, in this age of SNS everyone tries to show off the best side of themselves but we have to keep in mind we are not losers if we don't have the same pace as them.Everything will happen when the time will come. Thank you so much sensei once again. ❤🌸
thank you for sharing. The spring in europe gives me almost the same feeling. time for reneval. everything starts to bloom and more energi is comming into us from the sun. Also great for listening skill practise, you speak at a very good pace and use very good words, thank you
Thank you Miku, that was both beautiful and inspiring! Love hearing your thoughts while learning Japanese at the same time. Keep on being you.
This really changed my way of thinking. A couple days ago, I put in my 2 weeks notice for a job I’ve been at for 7 years because it was so stressful. I’m really glad I watched this video. It made me cry in a good way. Thank you very much for teaching me a valuable lesson.
Thank you for saying that Kalani san ❤️ I’m glad it resonated with you:) I wish you the best luck and I’m sending you love and positive energy from here ❤️
Clicked on the video to see Sakura but stayed for beautiful message shared by Miku. The Buddha himself would have deeply appreciated these beautiful thoughts about the impermanence of life.
Life doesn’t always give you what you want, but it always gives you what you need. Everything is here to teach us something, even if it doesn’t look like it. And you are not alone:) I feel lost sometimes too. But it’s okay to be lost. We are all a bit lost :):) So please know you’re not alone ❤️
I love how your listening videos are not only educational for my Japanese studies, but also I get to learn some great life lessons from you! Your content is always so inspirational and profound. Thank you for sharing this wonderful episode with us!
Rebeccaaaaaaa❤️❤️You are love❤️ Thank you for being a big supporter of me and being such a kind human being ☺️And thank you for encouraging me to keep on sharing:) Sending you lots of love:)
My grandfather planted cherry blossom trees on our garden when he came back from Japan where he used to live so they always remind me of my childhood ….
Yesterday was my birthday, so I'm starting my own personal year again too. Even when I was young, I thought a lot about how fragile life is. But I think that's made me enjoy what I can even more. I've never pushed myself to be successful in the eyes of others because I have my own goals to reach. And I'm working day by day to reach them. I can't say I have no regrets, but I've been trying to keep those regrets from holding me back. I hope everyone has a beautiful spring and gets a chance to enjoy the flowers in their own lives.
Omg that was very impressive to me! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, they inspired me. I love the deapth of your mind and the sound of your voice. I love it realizing how much love and work you give to make this podcast and video, so: I still cant follow a pure Podcast yet, but i love to regard your Podcast in this Video with the english Subtitles, so maybe you could do more of your Podcast sharing that way?
Hi Christian san! Thank you for your love and support!! I’m so grateful to have people like you here! I’m not sure if I will be sharing my podcast episode like this in the future, but I will definitely share a lot of these on podcast and provide the transcripts in the future:):)
Thank you for another beautiful episode. I couldn't agree more with everything you said. Life is too short not to live every moment. We shouldn't be thinking what others are gonna say or what others have done already in their lives and we have not. Every single person is special in their own way and we should all cherish it and be thankful for living in this beautiful planet called Earth
Excellent topic and a story so well told. Thank you Miku. I love it that you don´t just teach the language but also inspire us with thoughts that are not so common these days.
Hi miku san am new here in your channel ( "Prince "desu) as i have been watching your previous posts since 3 years so far this post is the best speech. The life & shakura ....sooo..touched Ganbatte ne.😊🌷 From Thailand
you don't have to make people laugh or act in a certain way, just being yourself and speak about such beautiful things is the best. Thank you miku-san, keep being your amazing authentic self

Calm and inspired..

Thank you much

I am Japanese student and always I see your videos! It is awesome!!!
I am Brazilian and love Japanese culture!!!!

wow! the words of wisdom from your reflection of Sakura is deep.
I will be seeing Sakura in another level of wisdom this time.
Very well said, and an important reminder for us all. Very inspiring.
Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for this! I got to practice my listening skills while being inspired and being able to reflect on my life this season. I am deeply moved and learned a lot of vocabularies at the same time. Thanks again ❤️

Miku-sensei. This is a precious lesson!

This is so inspiring sensei😭. We didn't need to compare our life with others. We have our own story❤
Oh my gosh this is so beautiful, poetic yet true. Love this episode, exactly how I feel!!!
Just a brilliant video….. honest and good imagery….. thank you
My grandfather planted cherry blossom trees on our garden when he came back from Japan where he used to live so they always remind me of my childhood ….

質もがあるです!! why is「皆自分の人生のハイライトを見せてるじゃないですか」translated the way it is? i am confused by [見せてるじゃないですか] isn't it understood as [isn't it showing off]??
Wonderful words. ❤❤❤❤
