I ride a hitmain frame and I ain't going to change my bike but Ryan I have alot of respect for you after watching this video, it's good for people to see this side of you as your videos are good but they are all very similar, wanna see you riding more skateparks etc as your riding is quality, but alot of respect Ryan keep it up
All that being said. Mafia sells a Full Chromoly aftermarket frame. I couldnt find a Chromoly frame from Collective on the Collective site whatsoever. Aside from building a decent frame structurally, the foundation for a strong frame has always started with using Chromoly frame material instead of HITEN Steel. All your completes are HITEN steel, which is heavy and weak, its the same metal Walmart bikes are made out of.
Its shitty whats happened to you etc, and sure maybe Mafia's completes are trash, but their technically putting out a stronger aftermarket frame than anything Collective is currently selling.
I'm not on anyone's side, and I live in freakin BC, Canada. I've broke my fair share of frames, mostly chromoly frames. I currently ride an older Macneil Alistair Whitton frame and its the most solid frame I've ever rode, its full chromoly, probably heat treated etc. Thats what we look for in a strong frame. I'm 31, but I hope to buy at least one more new frame in my riding life and was really enjoying your videos recently. But I was pretty let down going to your Collective brand website and only seeing absolutely entry level bikes, theres no real arguing as to what they are, they are entry level Steel framed completes, and I know for a fact a Collective complete probably wouldnt last me very long.
I wouldnt ride a Mafia aftermarket frame though, despite the material being better, I dont gel with how Mafia operates or the amount of beefs happening with them especially recently. I will probably shop around for an S&M or maybe even another Macneil, as I remember when Macneil was first started up by Jay Miron from my home province of British Columbia and I feel somesort of patriotism towards them.
All the best to you, your videos are awesome, you remind me of being a do whatever I want teen who rides their bike through malls for fun and gets chased by security, thats cool and pretty funny. I just hope you consider a Full Chromoly Heat treated aftermarket frame, preferably in multiple TT lengths, including 21.25 which I currently ride.

Jonny D - Collective bikes is built on the exact same principle mafia is. Marketed to kids, not people who are already into bmx. Don’t buy mafia parts, just go on sourcebmx (fuck danscomp) and get yourself a frame.

This has came back up and watching it now after time has passed. BMX hadn't been the same since man. Idk, maybe it's because I gave it up cos of petty shit and bad business but no one seems to ride now, no one wants to accept a sponsor. It's just TH-camrs (still BMX riders) but no new names and no new ideas since what you did man. After this pandemic, I really hope something sparks in everyone to just do what's fun. Not what's popular and who's popular. I'm thinking I might build another bike. Was devo'd selling my last build, took me ages to get the V3 mothership but it was that dead to me, the sport. I just gave up what was my happy with cos it all felt tainted. No one had a good thing to say and we made our self feel better by slagging off scooter kids man. I'm seeing it as jealousy now. BMX, my whole childhood and memories. I really hope it comes back as strong as it was
