I’m a 50’s girl. So as a vintage gal, I’d say “you did good”! I can remember those Shiny Bright boxes when they were new. What a cute idea to make a diorama. I gotta make some. Thanks for the ideas.
I have a retro christmas theme going on in my basement. I have an old-fashioned aluminum silver tree with shiny bright otnaments on them. I will definitely be doing the Diorama.
Hello, New subscriber here. I was born in. February 1950 so this was so exciting to see. My Dad was a home delivery milkman for 32 years starting the year that I was born. The milk bottle caps were very beautiful. You did a fantastic job on all your crafts....you are beyond talented!! My mother made us white uniforms and starting at seven years old we went along with my wonderful Dad on his milk route. It was a very exciting time for us. Thank you for bringing back such treasured memories. I am so looking forward to all your videos. Sincerely, Debbie and Dexter-Dog my sweet silly rescued Chihuahua living a quiet-crafty life in southern California. 🙏👍🏄🏡🚴🎅🎅🌲🎅🎅🎄🎅🎅🌲💝💝💝😄😄😄
Awwww I love this story Debbie! 🥰 I’m so happy to have you here. I love getting milk in the glass bottles and I bet that was so much fun going with your dad in the milk truck. I post every Friday and I have some really cute Christmas stuff this week. 💗💗💗
Rhonda, you are the queen of vintage diys!!! I love them so much. I actually tried looking up vintage Christmas patterns and images recently and was at a total loss of what to make. These are amazing. I adore the little box dioramas.
Oh my goodness seeing that shiny and bright Christmas decoration box brought back a memory for me. When I was a kid about five my mom had a box of those. The balls had indentions where it was all shiny on the inside with thin tin. And I figured out that I could poke my finger in them. So I sat there and poked my finger in each one and ran it around and broke up all that thin tin. It just felt good. I wish I’d never done it Wish we still had them.
Wonderful ideas!!! I ran over to Etsy and found the box and the milk bottle tops. I was going to have a beach theme but...you changed my Mind! Everything wad just wonderful!!
Hi Mary! I changed my mind a couple times on my theme this year too 😂 So I decided to have different themes for each room. My kitchen is peppermint and vintage, my living room is cabin, and my bedroom is winter wonderland. 💗💗💗
I love the shiny brite box ..I actually have been hoarding some antique ones that I found and I'm doing this very idea. I'm going to use some mini antique deer that I found!!!

Thanks! 💗 What are those?
