I also used jalapeño wraps from Traders Joe’s and added purple cabbage in the tacos. It was incredibly delicious 🤤

I have tried it with a few following tweaks of my own and they came out amazing. - Squeezed the juice of a full lime in the broth and adjusted for salt at the end. - Used cilantro instead of parsley - Instead of 2 cups of hot water I used 2 cups of chicken stock as I did not have the powdered bouillon. - for the chiles, I went for Guajillo and Ancho chillies, then used a teaspoon of chipotle paste as I live in the U.K. - Also added some ground coriander and smoked paprika when coating the chicken
@@phantomfiend120 The chipotle paste you can get from any major supermarket. They come in a small jar. I got mine from Waitrose. For the Guajillo and Ancho chillies, you can find these on eBay. Usually not very expensive, prolly looking at around £5-£6 for both as you do not need a lot.
I made this tonight, and let me telllllll you my entire house was LOVING IT!! I didn't have any parlsey so I used cilantro instead. The dip was full of flavor and thick. I'll be making this every week. Thank you for this recipe! God bless you!
This looks incredible, I’m a huge fan of birria & make it myself, I will say though that you should fix the part in the description where it says Birria de RES.. res is BEEF. Pollo is chicken ☺️

I recommend you save the paste from the sauce when you strain it and use it with chicken for empanadas as a stuffer comes out great 👍 Add a lil bit of tomato paste and boomperfect filler

I made it! I am pakistani and have never tried Mexican cuisine before but I really wanted to try these tacos, I'm sure it's not authentic with the amount of spices i missed cuz i didn't have them at hand but this turned out to be _amazing_ I charred the carrot and capsicum a bit before blending, added green chillies and chilli sauce instead of the peppers and added lemon juice in the end. Finger licking good!
OMG!!! This is my very first time making birria and the flavor in this chicken is SO GOOD! I’m eating it and haven’t put a taco together yet😂 I did everything to the T, but I left out parsley, bay leaves and thyme bc I don’t like the taste of them. But it was good without it!!

OMG! This was sooooooo delicious! I used cilantro instead of parley, and we didn’t have any dried chiles, so I used a can of chipotle sauce and a can of salsa ranchero. I think this taste better than the restaurant because this recipe is full of flavor; even drunk the dipping sauce! : )

i just made it, hella good. I did use chicken breast because that's what I had and it was still great. I didn't have tomato but I just used sundried tomato that I soaked in water for a few minutes. I used crushed tyme, and even made elotes on the side.
